Quote of the day: "It offended me."

September 9, 2008
Lincoln Park fundraiser with Barry elites: Barbara Goodman Manilow & Steve Koch where Biden previewed his strategy against the lipstick wearing lady from Alaska.

According to Sun-Times Political Reporter, ABDON M. PALLASCH:
BIDEN: I know what she's going to try to do. She's going to try to make it as personal as she can. She's going to take a lot of straight lefts and jabs at me, she's going to try to get me to respond, she's going to try to get me to respond in a personal way. That's not my style. I'm not going to do it.
Yeah right. You do it to yourself, Joe.

Then he goes on to use the demographic that was considered racist when Sen Clinton said it but no problem now. In fact it's gone to WalMart mom and hockey not soccer mom.
BIDEN: The press is exaggerating how white women are all of a sudden for Sarah Palin. We still have more women voting for Barack Obama than for John McCain...Part of the problem is in white suburbia, as well as...among ethnic groups, among, particularly Jews and Catholics, there is a lack of ease about Barack. They don't know him. One of my major jobs is to go out and talk about what I know -- they know me -- talk about who I am, why I support Barack."
And how are they supposed to know him when he prefers Malibu fundraisers with the rich and famous. I wonder what his crazy old uncle Rev Wright would feel about those rich white women that ain't never been called no n***er backing barry's campaign?

But this is why Joe Biden is a good man and why he wrote the Violence Against Women act.
Biden defended Palin against commentators who made an issue of her daughter's pregnancy and who argued that she should stay home with her children instead of running for vice-president.

"All it did was generate overwhelming sympathy (for Palin) and quite frankly it offended me," that anyone even raised the issues, he said. "Tell that to my wife. Tell that to a modern woman."
Even the term "modern woman" has a charm to it coming from him. And did he make any lipstick statements? It seemed to be the talking point of the day.
