I didn’t know they used the term homemaker – I thought it was SAHM – stay at home mom.

O’Donnell: “We get more endowed in bed”

July 29, 2009

I started watching MSNBC again since they started full force after the birthers. I had truly forgotten what sexist pigs they have on and how “Mommy” and Tamron Hall sit there and say nothing. Larry O’Donnell, who professed his love for Sarah Palin after seeing her on SNL, now finds her mentally deficient. [She didn't acknowledge him at SNL.] He and Barnicle are pigs. And Donny Deutsch(bag)’s in the sty next to them. I watched only one segment with him and he tackled both Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton in relation to Maureen Dowd’s blog post, which compared the two. Wonder whose blog she’s ripped off lately? She was on Willie’s new show this morning and Larry has a 6th grade job about her. Sorta what goes around comes around.

MIKA in reference to Larry. (Shattner, totally blotto, performed Palin’s farewell address as poetry. Whatever Shattner has – he’s got too. [Laughs]

BARNICLE: He’s been up all night.

Larry looks like it. Why does he seem to be growing more hair?

GEIST: Crazy Larry’s out today.

LARRY: You know what? I saw my first early, early morning with Willie Geist or whatever his name is.

GEIST: It’s “Way too Early”, pal.

LARRY: This is what I didn’t know. I’m telling you – this is how you promo this show. The promo of the show is: “We get more endowed in bed.”

Barnicle looks at Geist – they’re sitting right up next to each other as usual. Willie Geist would make a lovely transvestite, wouldn’t he?

LARRY: I didn’t know you did that on this show. I would have set my alarm if I knew….

MOMMY: Wow.

GEIST: I’m not going to go there, Lawrence. I was grateful that Maureen [Dowd] was kind enough to come on the show this morning.

Mommy laughs.

GEIST: Let’s go to weather, Mika. How about that?

Willie wants folks to come on his show.

LARRY: It was Maureen’s first use of her bedroom voice on national TV.

MOMMY: Ooooooooh. We’re gonna play a little of that later.

ODONNELL: Please play more.

GEIST: Can we have him removed from the set?

MOMMY: I’m serious. It’s nine minutes past the hour.

BARNICLE: Where’s security?

GESIT We’re on TV right now, do you know that?

BARNICLE: Louis!

MOMMY: Seriously.

BARNICLE: Get Louis over here to have Lawrence taken out off the set!

GESIT: Clear the set.

MOMMY: Alright. Lawrence? [Clears her voice.] We’re gonna go to weather now, thank you. [Makes face]

BILL the weatherman: Wow.

MOMMY: Yeah.

Sends it upstairs to the weatherman.

BILL: Lawrence is making the rest of us look like choirboys. I like this. This is good. Like I’m sane.

***

It was not blurted. It was fully intentional. He says it later as well. And he sits there smirking in to the camera.

Not exactly sure how she meant this.

After the weather segment, Mommy says: Let’s get beyond the Gates story. [Somewhat under her breath looking at Larry.] I don’t know what Lawrence might say.

BARNICLE: Talk fast.

Poll: Gates-Crowley: Whose at fault?

July 29, 2009

NBC News/WSJ
July 17-20
+/- 3.1

Who is at fault?

Professor Gates 27%
Sgt Crowley 11%
Equally at fault 29%
Don’t know enough 31%

Why did it take 9 days to come out?

What has barry done to make it right to Ms Whalen who had been trashed to death because he waded into it?

Nothing can undo what he said.

Out of everyone she is the victim and the person most hurt by barry wading into it.

Imagine President Bush saying a black police officer acted “stupidly”.

The Obama File is CLOSED

July 29, 2009

I wondered why we were getting such an inordinate amount of hits from the Library of Congress on a post from March about the Obama File so I went there and it’s “closed”.

He says it’s because of lack of funding — not because he was shut down by anyone. I know some folks who gave up after Dr Fukino released her second statement declaring barry a “natural born citizen” – like she’s suddenly a Constitutional lawyer – but wow he was totally into it from the start. And he sounds totally dejected. Here is his statement. I’m posting it in its entirety in case his site completely goes off line or expires or whatever so folks can be enlightened. It really is a shame after all the ENORMOUS work he did – even though I wanted to I never got the chance to read much.

One person did all that. I thought there were several people. He’s got every right to be angry. It’s hard enough to keep this going as one person and we’re just a little site with no one relying on us as a source. I have to admit we didn’t go there much after Donofrio and Wrotnowski but we did link several times. Mainly, it was a huge morale boost that at least one site covered barry from all angles.

It’s sad. barryfans must be giving each other high fives and that makes it all the worse. I am so sorry. And I also admit I don’t know anything about running a blog for money or as a profession or whatever. And, whereas it’s the first thing you see on Berg, Taitz and Martin’s site, I don’t recall seeing it there. I don’t recall seeing it on Donofrio’s site. I don’t get the bandwith thing and I didn’t realize it was customary to donate to folks either. But I guess if you use the same site for links on your own site then it makes sense. We mainly use big sites like CNN and aren’t confined to right or left ones.

Did he mention it before or is this the first time? Guess I’ll never know. I wasn’t aware you could close a site. So whatever links there can’t be accessed anymore? I’ll have to find a link somewhere and check.

Do most people know to donate? We’ve only been doing this since August and we’re not that internet savvy and never blogged or really read any – if none of us knew there has to be alot more. I hope he reconsiders allowing folks to at least make a payment even if he stays closed. There has to be a lot of folks who weren’t aware either. Wow. It’s sad. That has to be a bigger victory than that worthless resolution and Dr Fukino’s still incomplete statement. It’s got to be their biggest victory on the internet.

This is wrong at the most fundamental level possible. Someone hell bent on fighting censorship, propaganda and media bias because of his conscience — and doing such a thorough job — should not have to shut down. Nobody from the right helped him out? They had to go there everyday looking for ammo against barry. This is wrong.

Well none of this is going to change things and there’s no reason why he would come here anyway but I’d like to apologize for all of us here being so ignorant and we would be more than willing to contribute to the cause. Thank you very much from all of us here for the information you provided and more importantly for the morale boost. You totally rocked and I hope you come back just to accept retroactive funding.

I just read his “read me” page and he goes by BECKWITH and is a retired veteran and that just makes things worse. He has a sitemeter counter and has had 1.6 MILLION visitors and 3.6 MILLION page reads with 10 THOUSAND pages read today. And there quite a few referrals from the same website. A big well known website. Imagine if folks just gave him a penny a page. Thank you, Mr Beckwith. Please reconsider accepting funds from folks like us who had no idea. What you did matters. A great deal. Thank you.

Closed

Lack of support

You all deserve an explanation. No, Obama, nor the Obots shut me down. You guys did.

I didn’t get into this for the money. As I say on my Read Me page, “My agenda is simple and clear. I am opposed to a socialist sitting in the Oval Office — especially one that employs teams of lawyers and the legal system to hide his questionable background from the American People.”

But, I’ve had a PayPal “Contribute” button on my site for over a year. Every day, I get 200 to 300 emails. 50 Of them from folks that tell me I’m a patriot, or they’re praying for me, or the site is invaluable, blah, blah, blah. None of those emailers ever clicked the PayPal button.

I’ve been reading those emails for months, and instead of making me feel good, they disappointed me. I spend 8 to 10 hours a day at this — 7 days a week, and with the exception of a local guy who sent me two $100 hits a year ago, I have received from my loyal readership $40 in contributions in the last 16 months — while my bandwidth steadily increased.

Right now, my email box is full of emails telling me how valuable the site is, and please don’t take it down — oh yeah, and I’m a patriot. Not one of those emailers has ever sent me 5 bucks. I’m a strong believer in non-verbal communication. Flattery doesn’t pay the bills.

This isn’t about money. I do not want any contributions at this point. If you send me any money, I will just send it back — and I’ll pay the PayPal fee — costing me more money.

I realize I sound bitchy, but I’m discouraged — yeah, and angry. You want me to fight the fight, but you don’t want to give me any bullets.

I’m done. I’m going to the beach.

Deutsch: “Hillary being 68 with no problem with a man”

July 29, 2009

Donny Deutsch(bag) continues his sexist parade. It’s clear he has no idea how transparent he is and Tamron Hall is well, Tamron Hall.

After he got done saying that Palin “doesn’t seem to be a complete media whore” he brings up Mo Dowd’s column where she compares Gov Palin to Secretary Clinton.

For the record: there is no one like Hillary Clinton – nor will there ever be. No one – man or woman – is as knowledgeable and prepared as she is – most assuredly not barry. And Clinton runs rings around him as far as presidential bearing. The closest Gov Palin gets to Secretary Clinton is they both have XX chromosomes and both are mothers.

Deutsch’s body language reflects his coarseness. When he talks about both women he makes big gestures in the manner men make pantomiming women with big breasts and of course he has to take on an affected voice. Freud would get a good chuckle.

His take on the two women (his emphasis):

How a few years ago Hillary was seen as [big breast gesture] the paranoid woman, the victim and she was on David Gregory’s Show Meet the Press for an hour as so statesmanly, so in command as Secretary of State and now Palin has taken on the role [affected voice] of the chirpyyou’re doing this to me, you’re doing this to me’.

His theory: (emphasis mine)

I don’t know if that’s a) we need to take somebody down first like we’ve taken Hillary down over the years, before we get her up. Or the difference between one woman who is qualified and one woman who is completely unqualified. And Maureen Dowd pointed out that somebody else said that we wouldn’t be talking about her if she looked like Golda Meir.

Throaty growling: Ha-ha-ha.

They never took “Hillary” down and they certainly didn’t “get her up”. They’ve tried to destroy her for over two decades and she has withstood, excelled and prevailed despite their gyne envy and castration anxiety.

About “fantasy politics” and a possible “face off” in 2016: Sarah vs Hillary.

I like that – that would be fun….That would be television.

And then this. I can’t even describe what he meant (emphasis mine):

And it would be interesting to your point – the sexist thing in reverseHillary being 68 with no problem with a man.

WTH?

He continues, thinking he’s solved the mystery to women in politics – they have to be old and haggardly.

Well some people obviously have age issues there. Be interesting to see how it would play. Although when you look at some of the great world leaders – the Gold Meirs, the Margaret Thatchers that maybe that’s what a woman [he pokes his index finger forward] needs. Strangely, enough. Interestingly, enough.

Verbatim, folks. The poking gesture perfectly clear also.

Deutsch: “[Palin] doesn’t seem to be a complete media whore”

July 29, 2009

MSNBC continues their fascination with all things Sarah Palin. They talked with bowtie-wearing David Hawkings of CQ Politics, who can offer an opinion when he didn’t even know how many children she has and called Trig Palin a “toddler”.

Some of her fans on the socially conservative right think she should be genuinely taking care of her toddler son who has Down Syndrome and probably some of her detractors on the left [laugh] think she should stay in her house and never be seen in the public eye again.

Donny Deutsch(bag) goes one further. He claps when he reads the poll – only 6% thought she should run for president. Then he says she is going to go into radio because she isn’t ready for TV right now because “it’s too much of a jump”. Then he says:

She doesn’t seem to be a complete media whore.

Like him? Sitting there with his face all aglow speculating what it would be like if barry wore tight jeans and smiling at Mika “Mommy” Brzezinski?

His next installment: “Hillary being 68 with no problem with a man”

Dr Fukino Statement #2

July 29, 2009

Dr Fukino has released a second statement (pdf) prompted by what? Lou Dobbs? The Lady in Red? Because her spokeswoman lied for the nth time? The spokesman quoted as gospel in Politifact’s “factcheck” and as an expert witness in the Washington “Independent” and who said all the original copies were destroyed in 2001? Because “CNN: THE MOST TRUSTED NAME IN NEWS” then spread the lie on Kitty Pilgrim’s “mountain of evidence” recitation of non-facts and lies?

Note: Dr Fukino has been pressured to amend her statement since November 1, 2008 – the day after she released her initial one. So, why now?

I have a few theories that I discuss in another post.

Suffice it to say that if barryTV thought this was going to end it – they were wrong.

Note also that Dr Fukino does not state why she released a second statement – as in who compelled her to – like she included in the first statement. And most importantly, she no longer says “original birth certificate” – she says “vital records”.

July 27, 2009

I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago.

HuffPo hires Axelrod’s son

July 29, 2009

Remember how crazed they were about “blago” and “Chicago Politics”? Chicago politics, I might add, that never included barry – or Mrs Obama, who was schooled in it as a child.

Well, pay to play is alive and well. Huffington Post got barry elected and in doing made their way to the top of the blog ratings. And they did so well, they expanded to Chicago (surprise), New York and Colorado with plans for LA next. The Colorado site goes up in September and the new editor is David Axelrod’s fresh out of college 22 y/o son Ethan. It appears the Colorado site will follow the original: no experience necessary to write barry propaganda and no ethics needed to destroy all of his naysayers – political or private citizens.

Axelrod’s first quote, already a spin of daddy getting him the job:

I’ve been interested in journalism for a while. I heard through my father that they were expanding, so I applied for it.

He reportedly was interviewed along with other candidates. Wonder if they knew they had no chance at getting the job?

It appears the junior Axelrod has been watching old footage of Mr Walter Cronkite:

I’ve always been a follower and admirer of news reporting.

Source: Washington Post’s HOWARD KURTZ, who had a nice way of announcing the new hire:

Ethan Axelrod is joining the Huffington Post, the liberal Web site that has been largely supportive of President Obama.

Lou Dobbs vs Queen of the Tea-Baggers

July 29, 2009

Media Matters’ assault on CNN and Lou Dobbs continues. See here. They set up a website just to trash Dobbs and pressure head of CNN Jon Klein to make Dobbs stop with the birther issue. I just realize I haven’t posted Klein’s comments. He initially sent a memo saying the birther issue was dead and then changed his mind 24 hours later. Probably because his email got out.

Here’s Dobbs sounding off on the issue – especially in reference to the Queen of the Teabaggers Rachel Maddow. I wasn’t aware she was called that and heard her yesterday talk about Dobbs as a queen. How she didn’t think he could be that type of “queen”.

Media Matters: Dobbs’ promoting racist conspiracies

July 29, 2009

Updated list of birth certificate posts

Who owns Media Matters?

The smell of their desperation in going after Lou Dobbs comes right through the screen. They can’t possibly expect people to believe they are not in barry’s pocket…or vice versa. They’ve set up their little Let’s take it out on Lou Dobbs anti-birther site: “Dobbs Conspiracy” and the banner is “CNN’s Dobbs Problem”.

Why are they so panicked about this?

If barry’s legit – why the need for such madness?

CNN is second only to MSNBC/NBC as barryTV. Non-barryfans stopped watching it over a year ago when they made clear they hated “Hillary” and were in love with barry. People who watch Lou Dobbs aren’t about to be signing their don’t pick on barry petition nor are they about to stop watching Lou Dobbs. And they are sick of the probarry bias, which this is just enforces.

What site tracks down who owns these media outlets and how much their employees gave to barry? Huffington post didn’t wait long for their pay to play by hiring David Axelrod’s son.

Anyway. Here’s their video equating Lou Dobbs with G. Gordon Liddy “convicted felon”, Alan Keyes “habitual fringe candidate”, Orly Taitz and the lady in red, which ends with “You’re in good company, CNN”.

What is the investigative benefit of this?

How can they possibly believe they can ever be looked at as any type of neutral investigative whatever?

This is a direct personal assault and there is no way to hide it. Whoever owns Media Matters is in barry’s pocket and that’s what this is about. Period.

And here they flat out call Lou Dobbs a racist:

We need to present CNN with an overwhelming public response to Dobbs’ relentless promotion of these conspiracy theories tinged with racism.

That is beyond wrong and by saying it they are no different than the lady in red.

What does CNN think about being called a network that sanctions the promotion of “conspiracy theories tinged with racism.”?

HR 593: barry was born in Hawaii

July 29, 2009

Updated list of birth certificate posts

Note: Evidently some of these links are only temporary. Don’t know why. This should be permanent [Rep Abercrombie] since it goes to his name and not the resolution.

The House passed a Resolution yesterday [H.RES.593] “Recognizing and celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the entry of Hawaii into the Union as the 50th State” by a vote 378-0. Dems 220 – Reps 158. No votes: Dems 36 – Reps 20. It incidentally declared barry was born in Hawaii and was amended to include his DOB.

FYI: Resolutions are not laws. They are legally meaningless. A resolution is made when it’s declared Your Name Day in your hometown. This resolution does nothing to solve the issue of barry’s birthplace though it cleverly served to bring Republicans on board in an official capacity that could be wedged down the road.

In essence, laws are intended to permanently direct and control matters applying to persons or issues in general; moreover, they are enforceable. By contrast, resolutions expressing the views of lawmakers are limited to a specific issue or event. They are neither intended to be permanent nor to be enforceable. Nor do they carry the weight of court opinions. In a certain respect, they resemble the opinions expressed by a newspaper on its editorial page, but they are nonetheless indicative of the ideas and values of elected representatives and, as such, commonly mirror the outlook of voters.

It has no legal anything just like Senator McCain’s didn’t – though his is very different, which I go into in another post. barry was just one of a list of notable people from Hawaii and they added on his DOB to give Mattthews something else not a birth certificate to wave around. It is as much legal proof as that COLB and yet it is being touted as the “anti-birther bill”!

It was introduced by Rep Abercrombie [D-HI) on 6-26-09 and had two versions. Missing from the first version under "contributed to the diversity of Congress" was

(5) the first Japanese-American to serve in the Senate, Daniel Ken Inouye;

which considering the bill and what it represents and who introduced it is rather breathtaking. Sen Inouye has represented Hawaii since it became a state, is the 3rd ranking Senator and is a recipient of the Medal of Honor. How was he left out? Considering that these were 1-4:

(1) the first Native Hawaiian to serve in Congress, Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalaniana`ole;

(2) the first Asian-American to serve in the Senate, Hiram Fong;

(3) the first woman of color to serve in Congress, Patsy T. Mink;

(4) the first Native Hawaiian to serve in the Senate, Daniel Kahikina Akaka;

As for barry - the original was:

Whereas the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii;

And the second:

Whereas the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961;

Why the need to add the date?

And then Rep Michelle Bachmann made her voice known and object to the vote on the grounds that a quorum was not present. Rep Cummings face was priceless. See video below.

LaTroy Hawkins’ mouth does it again

July 28, 2009

Well, Cubfans, don’t you think Hawkins should ask for a transfer back to the AL?

He couldn’t keep his mouth shut when he arrived her with his ‘don’t expect me to talk to the media’ and then last night – after he pist off an umpire, Mike Everitt, who already had a headache from taking one on the chin – and got ejected he said:

HAWKINS: I thought it was a strike. And I told him, ‘Come on, I need that pitch. He don’t need any help.’ He said, ‘Knock it off.’ I waved him off and he threw me out of the game. Maybe he was having a bad day. I thought he had determined who he wanted to win the game anyway.

And that was after he had 5 innings to chill out. After having all night and all day to think about it a Houston reporter asked if he regretted it.

HAWKINS: Why would I? I have my own opinion, and he had his opinion. He thought I was showing him up. I saw [Alex Rodriguez] do way worse [when I was in the American League]. He undressed the umpire. Whatever he said, it was in his face. It’s America, dude.

It’s gonna be your paycheck, dude.

Have to say he is the only pitcher I have seen strike out the side with 9 pitches. Now if he could have that kind of control over his lips…

He was put on the 15-day disabled list because of shingles (back).

Buehrle surpasses Jenks, retires 45 straight, loses

July 28, 2009

Congratulations to Mark Buehrle…again.

Yes, I’m a Cubfan. But being a Cubfan means you’re first and foremost a fan of the game, which includes respecting history.

On the heels of his perfect game, Mark Buehrle (11-4) went 5 2/3 more perfect innings before giving up a walk and ultimately losing the game – leaving after retiring only two more batters.

Last time out it was 27 in a row Devil Rays for the 18th perfect game in MLB history. No pitcher has ever thrown back to back perfect games and only one (s Johnny VanderMeer in 1938) has thrown back to back no hitters.

In 2007, Buehrle pitched a no-hitter and Bobby Jenks (reliever) tied the record for retiring 41 in a row. (Jim Barr 1972 also) To break it, Buehrle had he had to retire former teammate Joe Crede, who obliged by hitting a one hop grounder to short that ended with a nice scoop by Konerko. Jenks smiled and applauded.

Buehrle had the 46th batter 0-2 but ended up walking him and then gave up the no-hitter with the next batter. His shut out ended with a fly to left that should have been caught by Podsednik.

Here’s a look at his pitches:

Ms Walsh: birthers “into the taboo of interracial sex for the crazies”

July 22 Hardball

Updated list of birth certificate posts

Chris Matthews, Ex Mayor Willie Brown and Joan Walsh talking the birthers – you know those crazy racist whiteys who are freaked out by jungle fever. All this discussion and not a single one says why doesn’t barry just show it. Video/transcript and afterward is a snippet from Ms Walsh’s blog the next day with a short discussion.

Video from Media Matters

TRANSCRIPT

MATTHEWS: And we’ll take another look at the lunatic fringe of the Republican Party that doesn’t believe that Barack Obama is actually a U.S. citizen, that he’s actually American.

MATTHEWS: Well, everybody’s getting open the zoo bus when it comes to this question. Nutty questions about the president’s birth certificate are being fueled by conservative talk show hosts like Rushbo himself and of course some others like Lou Dobbs and the lunatic fringes out there. We’ve got some Republican Congress people, nine of them, now, all pushing a measure to require the [interesting choice of words] production of-actually the display of a birth certificate in order to run for president now, which is fine except the message is this guy didn’t have one, meaning Barack Obama.

barry was not the only person challenged on his natural born status and he was not the only one being named in those suits — Senator McCain and Nicaraguan-born Roger Calero were also named. And then the Senate got together and had their little resolution to state that John McCain was a natural born citizen. [Note: yesterday the House passed an incidental barry was born in Hawaii don'tcha know resolution that was included in the Hawaii statehood 50 year anniversary. The amended version curiously added his birthday.]

MATTHEWS: Joan Walsh is editor in chief of “Salon,” and Willie Brown, of course, is the great former speaker of the California assembly and former mayor of San Francisco, most recently. I wanted to start with Joan Walsh, because you wrote an interesting blog about your experience watching the former vice president’s daughter, Liz-Liz Cheney, talking about this the other day. Your view of what’s going on for here with this push to claim that the president of the United States is not an American.

For the record – it is not a claim that he is not an American. He refuses to show proof of it. And he has gone to great lengths to make sure The American People can’t see any of his other records.

Joan Walsh seems to change her views frequently. She hated Hillary – she stood up for Hillary. She was wary of barry and now it’s clear she is in love with him. Most disturbingly (and revealing) she has been to Chris Hutchins‘ house. That says a great deal. That someone would willingly spend time with a man with such great hate for and fear of women. She must actually believe that what he thinks and says about “Hillary” doesn’t apply to her.

JOAN WALSH, EDITOR, SALON.COM: Well, I think it’s really just despicable, dirty politics, Chris, and I was shocked watching Liz Cheney. She was shown that clip that you just showed and was she asked to separate herself from them and she refused. She went on to say that the problem is that people are really uncomfortable with this president who doesn’t seem comfortable defending our country overseas. And she went on and on about it.

She has every right to say whatever she wants especially about the way they talk about her father.

WALSH: I’ve never have seen our friend, James Carville, speechless. He was, briefly. And then he got back in the game and said, what I deeply believe, which is that she and other reputable people in the Republican Party are using this lunatic fringe, they are playing to it, they’re playing to the most dirty, disgusting elements of American politics for their own reason because they are trying to delegitimize the president. And it’s-I don’t know that it’s working, but lately with Lou Dobbs, with Liz Cheney, with that crazy at the Mike Castle rally, it’s spreading. Something’s going on, here.

Editor of the Salon is saying a year in that something’s going on and it’s spreading. That Delaware town hall took place on June 30. Philip Berg’s initial suit was filed last August/September.

MATTHEWS: Well, Mr. Campbell from California did sort of go through a road to Damascus the other night. He finally got around saying that in fact he believes the president is in fact one of us, an American.

WALSH: He did better, I must say, he did better than Liz Cheney. Now, in response to my blog post, “Politico” got a hold of Liz Cheney and she said today, not last night, in front of a large national audience, but today, “I think he has every right to be president.”

Listen to this one. She says it like a spurned girlfriend. And another white person talking about race.

WALSH: You know, mighty white of you, Liz. That’s really good that you think he has the right. I think it’s outrageous, the pandering that’s going on.

MATTHEWS: Well, Mayor Brown, what do you make of this. This is a new low. I thought a new low was when they tried to make Michael Dukakis, who was the son of immigrants, sort of de-Americanize him back in ‘88, by making him seem alien. They’re almost declaring this guy an undocumented alien, these people.

WILLIE BROWN (D), FORMER MAYOR OF SAN FRANCISCO: There’s no question, that’s what they are doing, Chris. But I got to tell you, the Republican Party is in shambles. Quality people, among the Republicans, really should step up to the plate and begin to denounce these lunatics, these people who are, in fact, taking away from all of the glory that, at one time, was with the Republican Party.

When you had people like Nelson Rockefeller. When you even had the Senator Goldwater from Arizona. You’ve had some incredible, outstanding Americans who were Republicans. It seems to me, Newt Gingrich, John McCain, the governor of Minnesota, the governor of Florida, and the former vice president, Cheney, really should step up to the plate and denounce this lunatic fringe. They don’t need to say anything directly about Obama. The American people have already said that by making Mr. Obama their president, but these lunatics need to be put in their place.

Where was barry when Rep Lewis compared Sen McCain to George Wallace and the murder of four young girls? And when did barry apologize for intentionally misleading voters in that last debate that folks were screaming “Kill him” when his own Secret Service agents were the ones who said it was completely unfounded? And what was the last thing the voters heard? barry pulling the race card…again. Where was your call to barry to apologize, Mr Brown? Where was your call to barry to apologize to the Clintons for calling them racists? You know that Cat that was just sticking up for his woman?

Double standard.

Notice how barry made sure to say something about Prof Gates? His numbers drop he goes right back to old habits. Imagine if George Bush had said a black police officer acted “stupidly”? barry didn’t even know the circumstances. It was not a scared rich white lady and she didn’t even know they were black. She thought one might be Hispanic and yet she is being crucified for being a racist thanks to barry. And why was the door was jammed? Because of a previous break-in.

And did you notice any missing Republicans in Mr Brown’s list? Like maybe the head of the RNC? Why didn’t he mention Michael Steele? I think this was the most interesting thing he said. Who is making it about race? Not only are the birthers crazy – they’re all whiteys – crazy ass whiteys – and they’re whiteys who hate all darkies. It’s absolutely appalling. All those crazy whiteys don’t trust barry so they’re not going to trust Mr Steele even though he’s in charge of their own party?

What does it say about what Mr Brown feels about RNC Head Steele?

MATTHEWS: What do you make of Senator Shelby joining this bandwagon this zoo train, actually, is what it is. Senator Shelby of Alabama has been on this program many times, and I’m going to give him a chance to talk about this whenever he wants. But, why would he join those who actively, now question the president’s Americanism, meaning, is he in fact a native-born American president? He’s actually joins this, in fact, the nine Republican gentlemen have all joined this. And I wonder whether there’s an aspect here of not documentation, but pigmentation that this is all about. Would they be doing this to a George W. Bush?

There is no comparison. Every other president’s physical birthplace is known except barry’s. That’s not something the birthers are hallucinating. It’s a concrete issue that he could solved immediately – it could have been solved before it was even a problem if he actually had released the birth certificate. It would be one thing if it was known and no one believed it but not a single media person – not even gibbs – can say where barry was physically born. And birthers are all crazy, racist whiteys, whose mental states are preventing barry from producing his birth certificate?

WALSH: No…

MATTHEWS: Would they be doing it to a Ronald Reagan? Somebody who’s white?

They did it to John McCain. The difference? John McCain showed his birth certificate without being asked. barry hasn’t. Stick to the facts not pigmentation. Seems Mr Tingly has forgotten that barry himself said if he lost it wouldn’t be because he’s “black”. And now, according to the NAACP, he can’t be “racist” because he is half-white.

MATTHEWS: Would they do it to somebody who’s sort of been around awhile? I mean, what’s the point of this, if it isn’t to bring into your question, almost, your ethnic Americanism, your basically being one of us.

WALSH: No, you’re absolutely right. I mean, John McCain was born in Panama. Questions could have been raised, but they really wouldn’t. [Lie] Democrats wouldn’t do that. You know, and his Republican colleagues, of course, wouldn’t do that.

MATTHEWS: That would be a technical thing if he wasn’t.

WALSH: I know, I know, Chris, of course.

MATTHEWS: I think it’s worse, here.

WALSH: It’s much worse, here. But, he’s completely legitimate and I’m not questioning that, I’m just saying there was actually sort of a technical question there, it was never raised.

Yes. The Constitution. Now this was the best part of the whole segment. Hope I can find the video.

WALSH: I think it’s very deep. I think it is racial. I think that the whole birther nonsense, it’s primordial. It lets you talk about his father, a Muslim. It lets you use the name Hussein, which is scary. I will go farther, since it is late-night HARDBALL, and I’ll say it focuses you on the status of his birth, which was to a white mother and a black father, so it even gets you into the taboo of interracial sex for the crazies!

Who is having those thoughts?

MATTHEWS: Well, at least you’re admitting to the facts on his birth certificate. You’re beyond-they’re not even willing to go this far. I was looking at the birth certificate the last couple of days, there it says African farther, Caucasian-American mother. Here’s Rush Limbaugh, by the way, who has a very high IQ, he really does. He knows what he’s doing, and here’s what he’s doing with this issue.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

RUSH LIMBAUGH, TALK SHOW HOST: Barack Obama has yet to have to prove he’s a citizen. All he’d have to do is show a birth certificate. He has yet to have to prove he’s-I have to show them 14 different ways where the hell I am everyday of the year for three years.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

MATTHEWS: I am waving his birth certificate [not] around this show, yesterday, the whole show, again tonight. Mayor Brown, what is Rushbo talking about? What are they-look at this, we are showing it on the screen, lady and gentlemen. Here it is, everybody, to watch, I mean, Rush Limbaugh can watch this. The rest-even – you know, Lou Dobbs is into this game, now. What is this-is this a viral disease here, that they’re all involved with this-Mayor Brown.

He’s talking about probation.

BROWN: They are just off the scale on this one. Clearly the American people already have accepted Barack Obama as they have accepted Chris Matthews, Willie Brown, Miss Walsh, they know who we are. They know that we are as American as they are. And believe me, you are not going to influence even your own relatives with this nonsense about whether or not Barack Obama is a citizen. No one should have to wave their birth certificate around when you are as authentic as Barack Obama is.

What does he mean by that? And shouldn’t he, as ex-Mayor, understand the Constitution?

BROWN: If you want to call him an immigrant, call him an immigrant, and then proceed to prove that he’s an immigrant. You want to question him whether or not he’s American. Prove it if you think that’s important. I think Rush is just wrong on this one.

MATTHEWS: I think we ought to put some money on this, like in college in the middle of the night, in the dorms, Joan and Mayor, we use to bet in the middle of the night. You want to bet? Put money on it, Rush. Put big money on it and you get behind your bet saying he’s not a citizen and then you got to pay up.

BROWN: As a matter of fact, you ought to say, Barack, put your contract and the proceeds from your contract…

MATTHEWS: No, nobody’s going to do that. No, Mayor Brown, none of us do that. None of us do that. Anyway, thank you Joan Walsh for this, well, lighthearted conversation about something that’s truly crazy. Anyway, Mayor Brown, thank you, as always.

=====================

I’m stupefied by the lengths people will go to make excuses for something that is going on because barry won’t put an end to it. They keep saying folks should just stop. There is one person who could make it stop immediately = barry = and none of them have the integrity to ask him to just show it and be done with it.

Why?

A snippet from Ms Walsh’s SALON blog the next day. I hope someone will give her a little nudge that it begins at birth because that’s what our Founding Fathers and the Framers wrote – not because some crazy ass racist whiteys are freaked out by jungle fever. And, by the way, interracial marriage was legal in Hawaii at the time his mother was pregnant.

WALSH: Of course the Birther movement persists because it scratches so many itches for the intolerant Republican fringe: It lets them obsess over Obama’s father being a Muslim; it lets them remind people he’s vaguely “other,” with one parent from Kenya, and then, for the trifecta, the obsession with his “birth,” subconsciously or not, lets the Birthers focus us on the facts of his conception, that he’s the product of – OMG! – interracial sex, that old taboo. There’s so much that’s unsavory about Obama, from a certain blinkered world view, it’s hard to know where to begin – so let’s just begin at birth.

Would ex-Gov Palin or Secretary Clinton have been allowed to be VP/POTUS without their birth certificates released?

Without their school records released?

Without their medical records released?

Would their lawsuits to prevent the release of those documents have flown under the radar?

Absolutely not.

They would have been on whatever Court TV is called now.

They found out more about Palin in 48 hours than they still now about barry. And they’re still going after Trig Palin’s birth certificate. The Alaska Democratic Party head is still going after Palin’s emails at the cost of over $600K to the state.

So, why has barry been given a pass?

Why the double standard?

And race was to be a detriment?

If it bothers them, and they want it to stop – why aren’t they asking barry to just release it?

This is not entirely the birthers’ fault. The birthers exist because the MSM did not vet barry in the first place. If the MSM had done their job, this wouldn’t have been fomenting for a year.

But they didn’t.

They want to be taken seriously now then they have to take responsibility for what they themselves failed to do. And they have to acknowledge how their negligence led/contributed to the present atmosphere.

Look inward, Ms Walsh. Ask yourself how well you have vetted barry – what you truly objectively know about him – and then ask yourself if any other political candidate would have been allowed to get where he is with as little known about them.

Maybe one day you will be enlightened to the fact that you are the ones who want barry treated differently on this.

The question is why.

Anti-birther: CBS’ Brian Montopoli

July 28, 2009

Updated list of birth certificate posts

I’ve decided to include some snippets of folks’ posts/articles I come across. This one comes from CBS Political Hotsheet’s BRIAN MONTOPOLI” (July 23) Who Are the Birthers?

1- He includes the picture below and it’s clear he doesn’t know what a CERTIFICATION of Live Birth (COLB) is from a CERTIFICATE of Live Birth (birth certificate) and yet writes:

the Obama campaign posted his birth certificate (here it is)

Just a link to that worthless one-sided COLB.

[birthers] argued that the birth certificate is a fake

Nobody’s seen the birth certificate except Dr Fukino and her male colleague. Nobody knows if the birth certificate is a fake and nobody knows if that COLB he calls a “birth certificate” is real – not even the spokeswoman For the Hawaii Dept Of Health who examined it. He quotes politifact but it seems missed that part. [Emphasis added]

The din eventually got loud enough that some reputable organizations checked out the birthers’ claims – and they found no evidence to support them. In fact, there was overwhelming evidence against such claims, including Mr. Obama’s 1961 birth announcement, printed in two Hawaii newspapers. Here’s one detailed investigation [Factcheck - direct connection to barry], and here’s another. [Politifact - cites factcheck]

Neither call it by the correct legal name – both call it a “Birth Certificate”. Their ‘”factchecks” are meaningless by that alone.

As much as the MSM wants folks to believe they are – they are not the same and are two very different things. The COLB certifies that the birth certificate exists. Use the magnifying glass provided and read the title of the document. It’s not a birth certificate.

(CBS/Wikipedia)

And if you asked this man, what are the chances he knows the difference?

2 – Birthers are racists:

Conspiracy theories often flourish in the wake of traumatic or game-changing events…. and the election of America’s first black president has been no exception.

3 – Birthers are conspiracists. He quotes MICHAEL BARKUN, “an expert in conspiracy theories and professor of political science at the Maxwell School at Syracuse University”. Mind you he doesn’t say what Mr Barkun used to generalize or determine that it is in fact a “conspiracy”. Ben Smith at Politico quoted an urban legendist. But the birthers are the nutballs. [Emphasis added]

There are people out there who firmly believe that the truth is always hidden, regardless of whether it’s about politics or science or any other subject. That whatever is presented as public knowledge is necessarily false. That the truth is always hidden from them, regardless of what the subject is.

They give people a feeling that we know the truth. That we have secret knowledge, and that we know how the world really works. In a sense, we’re part of a kind of elite of those who know and everybody else is misled or are trapped by illusions.

Who is he referring to? In this case the truth is hidden and they – the non-birthers – feel they know the truth.

4 – Birthers are all loonies like Lady in Red in Delaware. Helps make their case.

5 – Birthers are plotters – Rep Posey’s birth certificate bill is related to barry even though it’s for future elections. This election Congress had to have a hearing on Sen McCain so why wouldn’t they want it…unless barry can’t produce one or 2012. barry has to sign it into law doesn’t he?

requiring presidential candidates to submit a birth certificate, a wink and a nod action that he maintains is somehow not related to the birthers’ claims.

6 – Birthers are all Republicans. He quotes Atlantic’s MARC AMBINDER, CBS News’ chief political consultant:

birthers now wear the term ‘birther’ as badge of honor, as if they were a persecuted minority

Lou Dobbs, Rep Poe, Orly Taitz, Alan Keyes and G Gordon Liddy weren’t persecuted by the MSM?

Republican presidential candidates need to figure out how to diffuse angry birthers who are bound to show up and demand their attention

And the easiest way is to see what is on the birth certificate. And yet all these folks would rather write these articles that just reveal how little they know.

And what does that do?

Makes those angry birthers angrier.

The fact they always leave out: this issue is still alive because of barry. The whole situation could be diffused if he released his birth certificate and he could have done this a year ago. He chose not to.

Where is the “anti-birthers” simple logic?

Why doesn’t barry just produce it?

God forbid they take the next step: Why is barry spending hundreds of dollars to prevent the release of something that costs less than $20?

Secretary Clinton: “I broke my elbow, not my larynx"

July 16, 2009

This was back when the MSM said Secretary Clinton was being shoved aside because she had been incognito with her fractured elbow. 100K miles in 7 months? And had she not fractured her elbow she would have gone to Russia – though Joe Biden seem to have enjoyed his time in the Ukraine.

So the press asked her if she was being edged out and whether things were ok between her and barry. (As if she would say.)

SECRETARY CLINTON:

I broke my elbow, not my larynx.

Same press corps wanted to know if her cast was attached to her.

GIBBS LIES re: birth certificate, nobody challenges him, WH transcript incomplete

July 27, 2009

Updated list of birth certificate posts

Robert Gibbs was asked about the “birthers” today in the press briefing. “Bill” started with “I hate to bring this up but somebody has to”.

It’s gotten to a point there really is nothing more to say.

Lester Kingsolving wasn’t even the one who brought it up. He had a chance to take care of it once for all and he and did he?

No, he said nothing.

All he needed to ask for:

  1. The name of the hospital in which barry was born.
  2. A hard copy of that COLB posted on the internet.
  3. A hard copy of the birth certificate Dr Fukino vouched for.

End of story. Even just one.

But he did nothing.

My opinion now is WND has no interest in putting this to bed. They had a man right there. The door was open and Lester the coward refused to walk through it.

Nothing they say here on in has any validity. They can write whatever they like and it will be meaningless.

How much money have they raised for the Where’s the Birth Certificate? billboards and bumper stickers and whatever else?

Lester opening his mouth would have cost absolutely nothing.

It seems that’s the point – their documentary comes out on barry’s birthday.

But several key sentences were left out of the transcript.

The sentences below in red were omitted.

I’m 99% certain it’s Helen Thomas and Lester saying “violation of the Constitution“. I listened to the whole briefing several times with the transcript and those sentences were the only things missing – even the cross talk and laughter is included. And someone shouted something that I think was different.

And will anyone bring it up to make sure it is added to the transcript for the record?

barry’s citizenship has not been proven. And certainly not “ad nauseum“. And violating the Constitution should be issue #1 – no matter who or what.

No one knows win hich hospital barry was born not even Gibbs – as in I don’t know the name of the exact hospital.“ which is why Snopes, UPI.COM and Kapi’olani all changed the information on their website around July 7-9 or so. [Haven't posted these either.]

And why did they change the hospital?

WND’s article on Kapi’olani.

They can write, but they can’t act. They can brag they’ve been following the birth certificate issue since the beginning and collecting signatures and putting up billboards and going to Washington and making documentaries and standing up for the Constitution and they can’t even stand up to pink-faced Robert Gibbs, whi is not exactly known for his mental gymnastics.

The first time Lester asked on the record was May 27th.

What were they waiting for?

And now it’s two months later and no closer – even with all the MSM outrage.

Nothing matters but the end game and Lester isn’t man enough to take on Gibbs — proven once and for all right here.

Don’t they have any female reporters over there?

Red missing.

GIBBS: But there are 10,000 more important issues for people in this country to discuss, rather than, uh, [he pauses]

HELEN THOMAS: Violation of the Constitution.

LESTER: Violation of the Constitution.

GIBBS: …uh, whether or not the President is a citizen. When it’s been proven ad nauseum.

=========================

White House Transcript [I suggest you keep a copy and a screen shot.]

Ed Henry and Chip Reid and that 4-part question oddball from AP are all just as cowardly. Chuck Todd and Jake Tapper are Gibbs’ pawns — he makes fun of them everyday and they don’t even care. They are an embarrassment to The American People – barryfans or not.

Helen Thomas questions why it keeps coming up but doesn’t push him. And she said after that staged press conference: “What the hell do they think we are…puppets?” [Need to post.]

Yep. And they were right. Today, every last one of them were puppets and Gibbs scurried back to his master puppeteer and had a great big laugh at each and every one of them.

Don’t they care how foolish they look being played by Gibbs every single day?

=====================

Anyone know who this Bill is? I’d like to add his last name.

(29:15) BILL: Robert, I hate to bring this up but somebody has to.

What is their job?

MR. GIBBS: Uh-oh.

Listen to his tone of voice.

BILL: Is there anything you can say that will make the birthers go away?

I honestly cannot believe this. He is talking about straight out censorship.

How about saying the name of the hospital?

And then Gibbs tried to make the press briefing holy ground when they yuk it up like fratboys every day.

Anyone who has watched Gibbs for the last two years knows he is frightened at this point. Look at his face and then later when Helen Thomas makes her comments.

MR. GIBBS: No. (Laughter.) I mean, the God’s honest truth is no. I mean, Bill, let’s understand this — and I almost hate to indulge in such an august setting as the White House — and I mean this in seriousness — the White House briefing room discussing the made-up, fictional nonsense of whether or not the President was born in this country.

Prove it. Prove it’s nonsense.

Again he says it’s the BIRTH CERTIFICATE when he admitted as in “I know” that what is on the internet is not the birth certificate.

GIBBS: A year-and-a-half ago I asked that the birth certificate be put on the Internet because lord knows, you got a birth certificate and you put it on the Internet, what else could be the story?

barry did have the actual BIRTH CERTIFICATE but that’s not what was put up. The COLB was put up I believe June 20, 2008 – not January. And I also believe they were asked to supply it but don’t quote me on that. Anyone know? Did Gibbs actually initiate the posting of that COLB?

Then Gibbs brings up DNA. Why?

GIBBS: Here’s the deal, Bill. If I had some DNA, it wouldn’t assuage those that don’t believe he was born here. But I have news for them and for all of us: The President was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, the 50th state of the greatest country on the face of the earth. He’s a citizen.

Them & us?? What happened the The American People?

He’s a “citizen” not a “natural born citizen” or “native born citizen” like they wrote on the Fight The Smears website put up just for the birth certificate that now no longer exists.

Why?

All Lester had to ask: And where exactly was he born, Mr Gibbs?

Simple question. Please name the hospital.

And DNA would be fine for those folks who don’t think barry Sr is barry Jr’s dad. There is a complete lack of resemblance that anyone can see. Actually, with all folks have done, I’m surprised they haven’t already done it. DNA – even barry’s – collected in a public place is collectable by anyone and testable by anyone. I’m sure barry’s half-brother George would be more than happy to part with some DNA for cash. George actually qualifies as a person with a direct and tangible interest in the birth certificate (a person having a common ancestor with the registrant). And then there the illegal alien auntie barry sponsored but “had no idea” about because he “hadn’t talked to her”. He just counted her donations made to him in her own name.

How many of barry’s mother’s relatives are still alive? Have any reporters talk to them?

GIBBS: But I have no doubt that Lester will ask me soon, and that I will receive e-mail –

Yes. He should have asked right then. But like last time he let it go. Listen to the “august setting” with folks laughing and shouting.

LESTER KINGSOLVING: You’re wrong — I’ve got another question. (Laughter.)

COWARD. No more whining Lester. You had your chance. WND has just prove themselves to be a fraud.

MR. GIBBS: I’m not entirely sure about that, Lester. But let’s not –(Laughter.)

[TRANSCRIPT---MALE VOICE: Let me prove it. Let me prove it. ]

I hear [MALE VOICE: Prove it!]

As in prove it by not asking ever again.

MR. GIBBS: I’m happy to wager that you’ll never ask me another birth question again.

I bet. Interesting phrasing isn’t it?

KINGSOLVING: No, no, no — I didn’t say “never again,” I said, “not today.”

It doesn’t matter after today Lester. You had your chance. Watch Gibbs’ face when Helen Thomas says what she does.

MR. GIBBS: See, there we go. I’ll take my winnings and put it in my son’s college fund. But no, nothing will assuage them. But there are 10,000 more important issues for people in this country to discuss, rather than, uh, [he pauses]

[(30:52) HELEN THOMAS: Violation of the Constitution.]

[LESTER: Violation of the Constitution.]

GIBBS: …uh, whether or not the President is a citizen.

[When it's been proven ad nauseum.]

There is nothing more important than the Constitution. Not even barry.

Who doesn’t think that was intentionally left out?

Why did they do it? No one asked a thing. They intentionally manipulated the official White House transcript and it needs to be amended. And it needs to be made known they did it.

Will it?

And what will it matter?

HELEN THOMAS: Why do you think it keeps coming up?

Because he has not provided a legal document and until he does it will not go away and the anger is going to keep building – and the Lady in Red in Delaware has already boiled over. The politicians know it, too. One told Pete Williams [need to post] that he didn’t want to announce townhalls because he was afraid it was going to come up.

Why are they afraid?

Who are they afraid of?

The constituents, the government, the MSM or barry and his minions?

MR. GIBBS: Because for $15, you can get an Internet address and say whatever you want.

FOR $15 BARRY COULD GET HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND PUT IT ALL TO REST.

The press is officially corrupted. Every last one of them.

Welcome to state controlled media.

Matthews re: Jon Stewart birther rant

Updated list of birth certificate posts

Full Jon Stewart rant

(7-24) Matthews Sideshow: Jon Stewart carries the conspiracy theory to its logical conclusion.

TRANSCRIPT:

MATTHEWS: Time for the “Sideshow.”

First up, speaking of the birther movement, Comedy Central‘s Jon Stewart carried the conspiracy theory to its logical roots last night, showing the ends to which some people believe, must believe that other people went to get this fellow into the White House. He calls it the old Kenyan prince birth announcement scam.

JON STEWART, HOST, “THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART”: Here is how it goes. You want to destroy America from the inside, but you can‘t, because you‘re a foreigner. So, first, you got to find yourself a good old American willing to reproduce with you.

Then, you have that child on foreign soil, while simultaneously placing the birth announcement for that child in one of our fringe states‘ local newspapers…… your Hawaiis, your Alaskas, your Pennsylvanias. You heard me.

And then…Hold on.

You wait… until this baby is a middle-aged man.

Now the trap is set. You just sit back and let that child go out and win the election for president of the United States.

MATTHEWS: Thanks, Jon.
