NY Times crossword clue: Obama

From Politico.com (9-25-08) DAVID LEVINSON WILK has proposed a theory that the NY Times is sending subliminal messages in their famous crossword puzzles - the measure of true wordsmiths. Barry probably does his in pen. It may just have to do with the arrangement of vowels. How many times has Osama been listed, which has more potential combinations than Obama because of the 's' instead of the 'b'? Biden has been mentioned 4 times, Obama 8, McCain zero and (Gov) Palin zero. And Clinton? Interesting theory. I wonder if anyone has done a poll of NY Times puzzle-solvers to see their political bent? It's like the question of whether race will affect people's votes, which is presently around 5%, which includes republicans who weren't voting for him anyway. The polls results show the voting for/voting against because of race cancel each other out. And that Bradley effect? Is a bunch of crap. See here. Wilk also mentions that he was the first person to use "Obama" as an answer, which might have something to do with his 'discovery'. And c'mon - do we need anymore evidence of their pro-obama bias? They just endorsed him...officially.
