Quote of the day: "an Arab man is less than a decent family man"

I'm tired of this crap. Everyone taking umbrage on barry's side and every one of barry's opponents attacked. Listen to this crap from Dr James Zogby, President of the Arab American Institute dated 10-11-08:

"Then, last Friday, after a supporter called Senator Barack Obama "an Arab", Senator John McCain came to the defense of his political opponent by saying, "No, ma'am. He's a decent family man and citizen..." From this we are left to infer that an Arab man is less then a "decent family man."

What? Who's the one going around saying I'M NOT A MUSLIM! I'M NOT A MUSLIM! I'M NOT A MUSLIM! like it's a dirty word? Where's the messiah saying hey I'm a Christian. He even proved it by sticking the note in the Wailing Wall so it could be identified and posted to the world later. barry's the one who made hijab wearing women get out of camera view.

Dr Zogby left out the context. The elderly, disheveled woman said "I do not believe in--I cannot trust Obama. I've read about him he's not, he's not, he's uh, uh, he's an Arab. He's not-"

The woman behind McCain shakes her head. The crowd laughs at the craziness. The don't get up and riot. They don't cheer her. They don't egg her on.

MCCAIN: "No. No, Ma'am. No Ma'am. He's a decent family man, citizen that I just happen to have disagreement with on fundamental issues and that's what this campaign is all about. He's not."

And the crowd applauds him for setting her straight.

She meant Arab as in foreigner not Arab Americans or Muslims. And by the way - where are all the Arab Americans speaking out against alQaeda? Where are the protests? The calls to their brothers and sisters to stand up to the radical islamists? The marches and the networking that every other ethnic and religious people do? We only hear them after the fact saying people are discriminating against them.

So, Dr Zogby, your words are as empty as your brethren are silent. Perhaps if the non Arab Americans heard the protests and denouncements before something happened then your outrage would be worth something.

A final word: How much money has barry taken from Arab-Americans in the Chicagoland area? From the Bridgeview Mosque? From the Arab American Democratic Club? The Arab American Business and Professional Association? Don't you think he owes the Arab community an apology himself for repeatedly saying he isn't a Muslim in a derogatory way?
