Larry King on Newsweek cover

October 9, 2008
Larry King Live
Paul Begala (D), Tanya Acker (D), Ari Fleischer (R), Andrea Tanteros (R).

They're discussing the negative campaigning while angrily making the point that it's not what those 'The American People" want to hear. They don't even hear themselves anymore - like Robinson's article yesterday. And precisely which "American People" are they? The bitterites, the obamerites, the racist hillbillies with no teeth but plenty of guns, Hispanic voters who feel abandoned since Hillaria was shoved aside, the blacks who are threatening to riot if obama doesn't win but 8 MILLION of eligible black voters haven't registered. 2m votes decided the last election. If barry loses it won't be because whites wouldn't vote for him. It'll be because eligible black voters didn't bother to vote.

Who's the victim? Who has always played the victim and then paints his opponents as victims? How do people remain blind to this?
KING: You're saying "Newsweek" was out to damage her.
TANTAROS: Look, Larry, the title speaks for itself.
KING: No, that's what you're saying. OK.
ACKER: I mean, the fact, Andrea, that -- I didn't see any black heads on that cover. But that's completely irrelevant.
He needs independent confirmation and Ms Acker thinks it's irrelevant. And if it were Mrs Obama? It would beyond relevant - it's be racist - like everything else.
ACKER: "Look, the stock market plunged 690 points today. This woman and John McCain have yet to articulate a coherent economic theory. I don't think that the cover of a "Newsweek" article, where, frankly, I mean, look, she looks fine, I mean, and I point out that..."
Ok: THIS WOMAN, THAT WOMAN, and "IT" are ok - but "THAT ONE" isn't. Who can possibly take THESE PEOPLE seriously. Larry King is just as bad as everyone at Newsweek and MSNBC.
ACKER: "There have been plenty of instances where we've seen Senator Obama's pictures darkened or where there's, you know, been some sort of dramatic effect."
The "dramatic effect" was to make him appear like the messiah. The allegation that SHRC's website has darkened barry's skin was disproven and it took two days for the bots do to so. There is no limit to what the obamerites will do to destroy his opponents. Email hacking? And what are the chances of David Kernell, son of barry-endorsed Memphis state representative Mike Kernell (See story here.) getting more than a ho-ho-ho-good one slap on the wrist? And if were done to Mrs Obama's and her daughter's private email accounts?
KING: OK. I want to go on to other things. (The power of the pro-obama MSM bias.)
....
PAUL BEGALA: So the Republican infighting -- the finger-pointing has already begun, and I couldn't be happier.
....
KING: I don't believe this show. I think I've got a plan. Never mind.
And then Larry goes on to discuss the "very real issues facing The American People" by showing a Paris Hilton video.

(Acker's further comments on Ayers vs McCain discussed here.)
