barry's first press conference wisdom on the economy

November 7, 2008
CNN: Barry obamanating on the economy during his firs press conference. Can't he speak anywhere without a blue sign in front of him?
BARRY "I do not underestimate the enormity of the task that lies ahead. We have taken some major action to date and we will take further action."
WHAT?
BARRY: "But America is a strong and resilient country, and I know that we will succeed if we put aside politics and partisanship."
HOW?

BARRY: "We are facing the greatest economic challenge of our lifetime, and we are going to have to act swiftly to solve it."

WHEN?

After assuming office, Obama said that he would "confront this economic crisis head-on by taking all necessary steps to ease the credit crisis, help hard-working families and restore growth and prosperity."

WHAT? HOW? AND WHEN?

On the foreign affairs front, Obama reiterated that he believes a nuclear-armed Iran would be "unacceptable," but he said any U.S. response to Tehran would not be in a "knee-jerk fashion." Obama said he would help mount an international effort to keep Iran from becoming a nuclear threat.
Barry doesn't have a knee jerk reaction. Everything has to pass through his cerebral cortices and then never quite gets translated into action because he has no spine.

Obama said that, if the lame-duck Congress fails to reach an agreement on a stimulus package before he takes office January 20, passing such a package will be his first move.

And he has to have others get in the mix so he has a scapegoat. Not sure how he thinks he's going to sit back and vote *present* but he's gonna try because he knows nothing else.
