MSNBC
Contessa Brewer talks with Sonny Scroggins, Founder and President, Bias Busters of Kansas, who believes that November 4th should be National Holiday in memory of Obama's win. He said it would "mark when Americans grew up - when we moved past race and gender."
When did we move past gender? A man won. A man has always won. Senator Clinton doesn't look anything like the presidents on the dollar bill.
Scroggins goes on to say that it would be "a way of increasing participation because of the day off."
Not possible. The first black president in history and just 2% more blacks voted. Eight million couldn't be bothered to register. Why didn't Contessa ask him if he voted?
