Poll toll of unregistered black voters?

November 2, 2008

Somewhere around eight million eligible black voters (32% of the black population) did not register to vote. Which part of "White America's" fault is that? And if they don't vote whose fault will it be if Obama loses? Racist WHITE AMERICA. Who exactly are these people? The millions that turn out for him at rallies? The thousands who volunteer for him? The thousands who have convinced their parents and grandparents to vote for him? The millions who already voted for him? Republicans? barry already has more white men voting for him than did Kerry or Gore.

Obama will lose if the black vote doesn't come out in larger numbers than the last five elections. Had just 5% more of eligible black voters voted in 2000 & 2004, the Democrats would have won. Had just 130K more blacks come out in Ohio - Kerry would have won the state and thus the presidency and there would be no Iraq.

In 92, 96, 2000 & 2004 blacks made up 10-12% of the vote even though the absolute number of blacks and blacks eligible to vote in the population increased. In 2000, 60% of eligible blacks voted. In 2004, 56%. Now, in 2008, with a black man nominated for the presidency, only 64% of eligible black voters are registered to vote, with no clear idea of how many of those eligible will actually show up. A potential 8 million votes. (120 M votes were cast in 2004 - 3M separating Bush & Kerry.) If Obama loses - it will be directly related to the black population - not racism or anything else. If "Black America" wants a black man as president- they need to come out and pull the lever for him - not threaten to riot.

This election will test whether blacks want to move forward or stay with The Man holding them back. Let's see what the numbers show November 5th. Then it'll be clear who is to blame for Obama's loss and whether McCain and Palin are responsible for "setting race relations back a hundred years."
