Dohrn firebombs Murtaugh house

Here's an article from TPM discussing the connection of Ayers with Mrs Obama. There's an audio of John Murtaugh and the folks at TPM. Murtaugh goes into the attempted bombing of his family residence. He relates that on Feb 21, 1970 (when he was 9) the Weather Underground placed multiple fire bombs by his front door and in the rear of the house directly under the gas station of the family car in an attempt to kill his father. His father was a NY State Supreme Court judge presiding over the "Panther 21" trial of members of the Black Panther party who were alleged to have been plotting to bombings a series of department stores in Manhattan. They did so with reckless disregard for his family, who were then placed under 24/7 police protection for the next 18 months. He said further that on November 1970, Bernadette Dohrn (Ayers wife) turned herself in (she was on the FBI's Most Wanted list) and admitted to bombing his house, two military stations in Brooklyn and a police station in Greenwich village. Recall that Ayers' girlfriend accidentally blew herself up in Greenwich Village making bombs that were to be used to bomb an officer's dance at Fort Dix. Ayers the cowardly revolutionary went into hiding.

Listening to a personal account is very disturbing and brings home how serious they were. Imagine if they had the sophistication of today's bombers. Dohrn was a law student at the time. She actually tried to pass the NY bar and when she couldn't (thank the Lord) was hired by the Chicago law firm of Sidley & Austin in 1984 and worked till 1988. Mrs Obama began working there in 1987.

The attack? Bernardine Dohrn, Ayers' wife and fellow former Weatherman, went to work in 1984 for the major Chicago-based national and three years later, Michelle joined the mega-firm as well.

That's the entire attack. We wish we were joking. But we aren't.

And I wish they had decided to do a little investigation themselves before they declared it a joke - but they didn't. Ayers lives three blocks from the Obamas and the Obamas and Ayers and Dohrn spoke at some sort of conferences together. I have the documentation downloaded from a site, which I hope I can find. I believe it had to do with kids who were in the system. Don't quote me on that.
