Obama and ACORN (12-1-07)

"12-1-07 Heartland Democratic Presidential Forum - which drew 3,600 grassroots activists from 32 states, including Gamaliel (founded by started by Saul Alinsky) and ACORN people, to question presidential candidates about the issues and values that are important to low-income people. Obama said ACORN and friends, responsible for voting fraud and the subprime crisis, are going to be shaping policy for an obama presidency. Deepak Bhargave lobbied for ACORN to force the Clinton administration to toughen the Community Reinvestment Act. ACORN and Obama then sued banks to force bad loans. Deepak created the forum."

BHARGAVE: "That is why we have created the campaign for community organizers bringing together hundreds of grass roots organizations from a cross the United States to begin today to continue the elections till we win the elections justice in America for everyone!

INTERVIEWER: If elected president would you agree in you first one hundred to agree to meet with a delegations of these various delegations from these various organizations - the campaign for community values - could they count on you in you first 100 days to sit down with them?

OBAMA: Before I even get inaugurated, (12-1-07 he's saying this), during the transition we're gonna be calling all of you in to help us shape the agenda. We're gonna be having meetings all across the country with community organizations so you have input into the agenda for the next presidency of the United States of America."
