Don't get too cocky?

Seems Dewey beats Truman has been outdone by an Irish betting site that has already begun paying Obama bidders. In Chicago, Obama wants his victory coronation to take place in Grant Park, which is beyond crazy even for the messiah. In the dark, in a sprawling park, in the cold with people bundled in coats, no actual perimeter and complete exposure from above. How much would security cost the taxpayers? The taxes he lies about lowering. And what if something were to happen? It would be the end of the Olympic dream. Though I imagine if they pulled it off - it would be very helpful. It's never gonna happen anyway. And there was a regular old gang shooting right outside the Taste of Chicago last year. Nothing compared to the weekend in April when 39 people were either shot or stabbed in a 72 hour period with 9 dead. All while barry campaigned away. Not a peep in the national media.

Anyway what do you think will happen? Will the Messiah get what he wants? Will there be more pillars? The Brandenburg Gate? A throne? A choir of angels descending from the sky? Will the North Star be shining bright? Celine Dion is giving a concert in the United Center and he doesn't want to use Soldier Field. I'm sure he never gave thought to the patriotic significance. Why isn't McCain using the video or TIME pix of Obama standing with his hands over his parts instead of his heart during the National Anthem with the caption COMMANDER-IN CHIEF? Wright's "church" flies the Pan African flag so maybe that's why barry didn't acknowledge it. And there is no double standard? Why aren't they using wright? barry himself on national TV said it was a legitimate issue. Oh well. The Obama camp has already shelled out $2M for the celebration. I wonder if it's non-refundable. barry and axelrod have begun to (publicly) pay back the Daley Machine. What position will Mayor Daley's brother hold? Valerie Jarrett? Emil Jones? Rahm Emanuel? Daschel, the only man to lose his senate seat in half a century will be Chef of Staff.
