List of conditions President Clinton agreed to. I wonder how much arm turning it took? By Sen Clinton and others - including the Board of Directors? I would have liked to have heard husband and wife (and daughter) having that discussion. And what type of assurances did Mr Bill have to make the donors who had assumed everything would be private? I think barry wants all the info so he can potentially destroy both of them. Nobody has seen barry's Columbia transcripts or full medical records but they have every possible bit of info on the Clintons.

Anyway. From Politico's MIKE ALLEN & BEN SMITH:

Here are details of what the former president agreed to:

At the request of President-elect Obama, and to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest between the work of President Clinton and the service of Hillary Clinton should she be nominated and confirmed as Secretary of State, President Clinton is taking the following steps above and beyond the requirements of current laws and regulations.

— The Clinton Foundation will publish the names of everyone who has contributed since its founding in 1997 (this year).

— Should Senator Clinton be nominated and confirmed as Secretary of State, during her time of service, the Foundation will also publish the names of everyone who contributes going forward on an annual basis.

— The Foundation will separately incorporate CGI from the Foundation; President Clinton will continue to host CGI gatherings, such as the one in NYC and its meetings for college and university students, as Founding Chairman of CGI.

— Although President Clinton will continue to invite participants to CGI events (which involves normal registration fees), he will not solicit 'sponsorship' contributions for CGI.

— CGI will also not host annual events outside the US and CGI will not solicit or accept foreign government contributions.

— Given the extensive and life-saving work of the Clinton Foundation's HIV/AIDS Initiative which can and should continue, the Foundation will continue to fulfill its commitments funded by foreign governments (including, among others, Sweden Norway, France, Great Britain). In the event an existing contributing country chooses to substantially increase its commitment, or a new country, or government-owned entity, decides to contribute, the Foundation will share such proposed contributions with the State Department ethics officials. State may also share the issue to the WH Counsel's office for review. To whatever extent there are conflict of interest concerns raised about such potential contributions related to Senator Clinton's service as Secretary, they will be conveyed to Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation for appropriate action.

— Same procedure to be followed for any foreign country contributors to CCI, CGSCI and CHDI.

— Regarding President Clinton's private work, during her tenure, President Clinton will share proposed hosts of speeches with the State Department ethics officials for their review, and as appropriate for review by the White House Counsel. Again, should there be conflict of interest concerns related to the Senator's anticipated service as Secretary, they will share those concerns with Senator and President Clinton for appropriate action.

— During her tenure as Secretary of State, should she be nominated and confirmed, President Clinton will share any proposed consultant relationships with State Department ethics officials, and the same procedures outlined above will apply here as well.

None of these protocols is required by any law, and all of them go above and beyond the requirements of the law to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest.

The procedures are, of course, in addition, to the already extensive laws and regulations government the activities of spouses of federal officials (such as those outlined in 5 USC 208 and related regulations)

When are you going to stop trying to make everything barry does the -est ever? Yes. He raised the most amount of money ever but he did so because he lied about taking public finance. Though it's just a matter of time before all of his illegal foreign donations are exposed. And with all that money he got the same amount of votes as Sen Clinton - one can extrapolate what would have happened had they been on an equal financial footing. As it was, he outspent Sen Clinton by as much as 5-1 and per vote barry outspent McCain by $4.

Yes. His popular vote margin of victory was the largest for a non-incumbent presidential candidate but not the largest ever. Nor was his popular vote percentage. There wasn't the massive turnout you predicted. People were not voting in "record numbers". Record amount of blacks did not show up to vote. Only 2% more came out to vote for the first black president ever and the media has not done a story on what that says about Black America.

Yes. He used the internet in a novel way compared to the last election for a simple reason: Youtube and Facebook hadn't been invented yet. And Google is based in Chicago, which made it easy for Googleman to get involved.

Yes. He is picking his Cabinet quicker than anyone. It's because no president has ever had such problems facing him. In particular, the economy that can't wait another two months and now with India neither can national security and foreign diplomacy.

And yes. He has had the largest media assist in campaign history. That no longer has to be proven - by us or anyone else. But the constant comparison to previous presidents absolutely has to stop. barry has done absolutely nothing except name part of his Cabinet that cannot even make an impact until after he is inaugurated. So can you please please please stop the lovefest? Or at least wait until he's done something to deserve it?

Michelle and I send our deepest condolences to the loved ones of the American citizens who lost their lives in the outrageous terrorist attacks in Mumbai. Our thoughts and prayers are with them, and with all who have been touched by this terrible tragedy.

These terrorists who targeted innocent civilians will not defeat India's great democracy, nor shake the will of a global coalition to defeat them. The United States must stand with India and all nations and people who are committed to destroying terrorist networks, and defeating their hate-filled ideology.

There is one president at a time. I will continue to closely monitor the situation on the ground in Mumbai, and am grateful for the cooperation of the Bush Administration in keeping me and my staff updated. We fully support the Bush Administration's efforts to protect American citizens and assist the government of India during this tragic time.

Now they have Silver Alerts for cognitively impaired seniors like with Alzheimers. It piggybacks the same notification system as Amber Alerts. It's a great idea. And Project Lifesaver has been using wrist bracelets to track wandering or at risk seniors since 1999. They should be required at nursing homes in ambulatory patients with Alzheimers. And why don't they use something similar for newborns? The hospital alarms and safeguards have been beaten.

Reaction to Mumbai

CNN:

A spokesman for U.S. President George W. Bush: "President Bush offers his condolences to the Indian people and the families of the innocent civilians killed and injured in the attacks in Mumbai, India. The United States condemns this terrorist attack and we will continue to stand with the people of India in this time of tragedy."

President-elect Barack Obama's chief national security transition spokeswoman Brooke Anderson said: "President-elect Obama strongly condemns today's terrorist attacks in Mumbai, and his thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and the people of India. These coordinated attacks on innocent civilians demonstrate the grave and urgent threat of terrorism. The United States must continue to strengthen our partnerships with India and nations around the world to root out and destroy terrorist networks. We stand with the people of India, whose democracy will prove far more resilient than the hateful ideology that led to these attacks."

Why doesn't Bush have a named spokesperson? From the statements it's clear who is going to be point on this. The timing was not accidental. Dare I ask - was this what Biden was talking about? Recall barry's pronouncement that he would bomb Pakistan. "If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won't act, we will."

PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA, MANMOHAN SINGH TV address:

The well-planned and very orchestrated attacks, probably with external linkages, were intended to create a sense of panic by choosing high-profile targets and indiscriminately killing innocent foreigners. It is evident that the group which carried out these attacks, based outside the country, had come with single-minded determination to create havoc in the financial capital of the country.

We will take up strongly with our neighbors that the use of their territory for launching attacks on us will not be tolerated and that there would be a cost if suitable measures are not taken by them.

We will take a number of measures to strengthen the hands of our police and intelligence authorities. We will curb the flow of funds to suspect organizations. We will restrict the entry of suspects into the country. We will go after these individuals and organizations and make sure that every perpetrator, organizer and supporter of terror, whatever his affiliation or religion may be, pays a heavy price for these cowardly and horrific acts against our people.

I don't even want to go into this as talking about it spreads their hate. I really do not understand the savages in this world. Why people want to kill Americans - Westerners just because they are. Why did they kill a Japanese and Australian national? It's blind hate aimed at what? Surgically taking down the global economy? So how are they going to get into Japan and China?

They took hostages for a reason. It was a well-thought out attack on the financial center of India. And the Marriot bombing in Pakistan? The Indian anti-terrorist chief was gunned down as were three of his men. What kind of intelligence is that? They were so ill-prepared they had to fly "SWAT" teams in from Delhi. And watching the soldiers/police mulling around outside the hotel, unarmed, unvested, smoking and mugging for the cameras doesn't exactly inspire.

They know the cowards have assault weapons and grenades so why are they in full view? Why are they allowing the cowards to see what they're doing? Their next move will be to kill or kidnap a reporter.

Oh Dear Lord I hope they haven't been raping women and young girls all night. This is madness. They attacked a hospital for women and children. Why? Other than to incite the West? To prevent injured people from being treated?

I am angry at the women who know these cowards and did not say anything. How hard is it to get internet access? Make a phone call? Anything? These cowards did not plan it without the knowledge of at least one woman around them. Not possible. Somebody has to cook and clean for them and that's why women exist, right? These beasts cannot exist without a woman giving birth to them and raising them in an atmosphere of hate.

Enough. Can't go on.

CNN : "A group calling itself the Deccan Mujahideen has claimed responsibility for Wednesday's coordinated and deadly attacks in southern Mumbai, but security analysts do not know who the Deccan Mujahideen are affiliated with, whether they are new or the offshoot of an old group."

No idea? Recall that India and Pakistan both have nuclear capabilities. What is Biden saying now?

soxfans will complain about anything. barry seems to be a soxfan again after becoming a Philly and Devil Rays fan. He's a soxfan for the same reason he does everything - political expedience - just like wright's church. Mayor Daley is a soxfan - Balgojevich is a Cubfan. barry's demographic is Wrigley not Comiskey.

Reporter Steven Thomma infiltrated the Cubs' section yesterday. Today, an "All's well on the South Side now" sign was on his seat. He also got noticed.

BARRY: I understand that as a lifelong White Sox fan, you were placed in the Cubs section yesterday. I want to apologize for that. ... This is also part of the new way of doing business. When we make mistakes we admit them.

THOMMA: Well, thank you, sir. That's the change we need.

We're gonna need more change than that and a litany of apologies. A Cubfan would have never sat down in the first place.

Constitutional?

The stock market continues to tank, Citigroup needs a bailout, Detroit is on the brink, barry is having daily press conferences introducing his advisors but saying nothing and what does PETE WILLIAMS focus on? Senator Clinton. What's it going to take for them to move on? I can't fathom the fascination. He must have castration anxiety like Tucker Carlson.

Anyway, the gist is Sen Clinton can't become secretary of state (or any other administration appointment) because she was a senator when the salary was raised for secretary of state. Like her vote mattered. And doesn't the Congress vote for their own pay hikes? And why can't she just agree to the salary before it was raised?

Legalese: Article I, Section 6 of the Constitution: "No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil office ... the Emoluments whereof shall have been encreased during such time." Emoluments meaning salaries and benefits.

Check out the wording:

If President-elect Barack Obama nominates Hillary Clinton to be secretary of state, many legal scholars believe it would be the former law professor's first violation of the Constitution as president.

First? As in more to come? Or as in covering previous ones? barry is not - nor was he ever a law professor. He was a lecturer who taught classes on constitutional law. And don't you think he should know that before he even bothered to vet her? Williams goes on to give four examples when it was circumvented. So why the fascination? And this madness:

A more difficult case might come if a Secretary of State Clinton issued an order that put a specific citizen at a disadvantage. That might give rise to a lawsuit that could get some traction.

How is Senator Clinton going to issue an order? She will not be autonomous and everything she says will be as a representative of barry. Rest assured the media will pounce on any perceived deviance.

Former Clinton Justice Department solicitor general Walter Dellinger says there's reason to think that the official acts of someone in a federal office are valid, even if the person's qualifications for the office are in doubt.

This last comment brings me back to barry's birth certificate. How much is Pete Williams getting paid per word? And why can't he post it himself?

Sarah Obama claims she was present for barry's birth

I wish I hadn't gotten into this again. Ran across an article discussing barry's grandmother, Sarah Obama's claim that barry was born in Kenya and that she witnessed it. Seems way far-fetched considering barry Sr was in Hawaii on an education grant, his mother was a student, her parent's only child giving birth to their first grandchild and the question of finances. Somewhere I read that barry Sr's family was upset about his having a child with a white woman. Too tired to go looking for it. And then there's the fact that Sr left behind his tribal wife, who was pregnant and caring for their young son. I can't imagine he would get a very warm welcome even though polygamy is accepted in Kenya. I can however understand a grandmother wanting to claim the POTUS as a native born Kenyan. I also remember her changing her story on being a Muslim to a Christian. I believe the original story of her being a practicing Muslim was in the Chicago Tribune. Sorry no exact sources.

UPDATE 2: barry's birth certificate

Finally getting around to updating the birth certificate question. So far all the lawsuits challenging barry's actual birthplace - Kenya or Hawaii - have been dismissed. Decision: No citizen can challenge whether a candidate for president is constitutionally eligible to become president. It's up to Congress. See here, here and here for background.

Philip Berg from Philadelphia is still pressing for discovery on a list of questions. Howard Dean and the DNC have been fighting the lawsuit with barry, who has been reluctant to answer the questions. Why? Berg is also challenging whether barry surrendered his citizenship in Indonesia to be able to go to school there. No dual citizenship at the time. If he did, it would technically make him ineligible. So as it stands, the Supreme Court ruled discovery (which the judge did not allow in the original suit) is necessary before the Court can proceed with the appeal. This means barry has to answer the questions and deliver them to the court by December 1st. Berg gets to see them but I don't know if they are allowed to be made public. Guess we'll find out Monday.

As far as Hawaii - KITV/AP released a statement on October 31st by Director of Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino. Note: Berg had filed an appeal with the US Supreme Court the day before (October 30th.) He had filed an injunction to stay the election, which obviously was denied.

Fukino said she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama's original birth certificate.

"Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai'i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai'i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama's original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures."

Funkin also said there were no irregularities by state officials concerning his birth certificate. She doesn't comment whether the family requested any changes or what exactly is on the birth certificate. Why didn't he release the original and be done with it? Why the need for factcheck.org - which is affiliated with NEWSWEEK, the pro-barry propaganda newsletter?

Is barry not able to speak without a blue sign in front of him? Office of the President-Elect? Which presidential seal is it? And can we please stop hearing Wall Street & Main Street?

His economic team. Notice they each stand in front of their own flag and how the camera stays on barry as he introduces them. Larry Summers looks medically ill. Christina Romer has that glaze in her eyes. Timothy Geithner looks ready to go and Melody Barnes has the glaze but looks frightened. Watch how barry falters when he gets to Romer. He has trouble saying "macroeconomics". He needed two women of to different demographics to offset Larry, who thinks women are inherently defective and unable to understand math and science. And it seems he did not have a particularly fond relationship with the black community. Thus the two women. He at least got fired - Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Jack Cafferty, Glenn Beck, David Gergen, Alex Castellanos weren't.

When was the last time Joe Biden was allowed to speak?

LESTER: Thank you, Tony. Two questions. There's been extensive media coverage of where the two Obama daughters will attend school. And my question: The White House believes that they should be able to attend the school their parents select without criticism because it's private rather than public, don't you?

FRATTO: I think we support all parents making that decision.

LESTER: Good. The CEO of WorldNetDaily has called on the President-elect to release a birth certificate listing the hospital and names of parents. The White House believes that this would fully satisfy the constitutional requirement, don't you?

The fairy tale he perpetuated by changing his position from the 2002 speech right on through the primaries and general election and then taking General gung-ho Iraq Colin Powell's endorsement and naming Senator Clinton as Secretary of State? Do you believe anything he has said or will say on Iraq?

Did he look the picture of commander-in-chief today or a scared what have I gotten myself into now that I don't have my daily fix of adoration ex-senator?

I think that if I were to seriously consider running on a national ticket, I would essentially have to start now [4 years ago he said this] before having served a day in the senate. Now they're may be some people who might be comfortable doing that - but I am not one of those people.

So, not having started in 2004, he was ready 27 months and 130 or so days in the senate later?

JUDGMENT?

UPDATE: LIFE's most famous nurse identified

For years, their identities have been in question. Now Edith Shain (90) has been officially identified as the nurse. Although the sailor hasn't officially been identified, I read an explanation by a man who said the strange grasp he had on the nurse was because he knew they were being photographed and he wanted to keep her face visible.

The photo was taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt on August 18, 1945. Shein had contacted him in 1980, but he was certain it wasn't her - even after he saw her in person. I'm not sure why they couldn't use what the FBI uses to estimate height in videos. She's 4'9".

Her recollection CNN:

"I went from Doctors Hospital to Times Square that day because the war was over, and where else does a New Yorker go?" she said. "And this guy grabbed me and we kissed, and then I turned one way and he turned the other. There was no way to know who he was, but I didn't mind because he was someone who had fought for me."

"As for the picture," she says, "it says so many things -- hope, love, peace and tomorrow. The end of the war was a wonderful experience, and that photo represents all those feelings."

I'll see if I can find something about the sailor. I know I read or saw it somewhere.

UPDATE: I found the sailor. His name is Glenn McDuffie. According to a (8-4-2007) Oakland Tribune article by AP's JUAN A LOZANO, McDuffie was 18 at the time and was changing trains when he heard Japan had surrendered. He ran out into the street, saw the nurse and kissed her. He realized someone was taking a photo, which is why he held her that strange way so her face could be seen. And they both said the same thing - they went their separate ways without an exchanged word. He said the kiss "was prompted by the realization that his older brother, W.D., would soon be coming home from a Japanese prison camp."

Alfred Eisenstaedt died in 1995 not convinced that he had found either of them even though both Shein and McDuffie had met him in person.

Houston Police Department forensic artist Lois Gibson, who has identified more suspects than any other forensic artist, said she was sure it was him just from looking at him. But she did a detailed investigation measuring his ears, facial bones, hairline, wrist, knuckles and hand using his sailor's cap as reference. axelrod's head has literally gotten larger. Maybe it's the haircut. His hair and eyebrows look a tad Luciano Pavarotti. Anyway he was on This Week with George Stephanopoulos. It's good video evidence of axelrod's transparent prevarication. He covers his voice fairly well because his baseline is monotonous by design. But that's about it. Watch how his head keeps shaking, he doesn't believe a word of it. Take note also of his closing his eyes and shaking his head like a kid pretending not to see. bill burton is the only good liar on this squad. barry's easiest of all.

Harry Reid talks about Joe Lieberman the traitor. And he does so with a convincingly clear conscience. To John King: "Joe Lieberman has done something that I think was improper, wrong, and I'd like if we weren't on television, I'd use a stronger word of describing what he did. But Joe Lieberman votes with me a lot more than a lot of my senators. He didn't support us on military stuff and he didn't support us on Iraq stuff. You look at his record, it's pretty good."

And how much support did he show his fellow Democrat, Senator Clinton?

Reid wants to completely wipe out the entire Armed Services Committee along with Senators McCain and Clinton. At least Lieberman had the integrity to be honest and stand up in the light of day. He didn't pretend he was a Democrat through and through. He didn't pretend it was a full and equal election. He went with his principles. Yes, principles. And he didn't switch allegiances midway to make it easy on himself.

Lieberman should be praised and those who want his head should look deeply inside and ask why. They need to judge what kind of public servants they were when they sat on the sidelines and said nothing as the DNC successfully railroaded Sen Clinton.

How much did they look out for themselves vs their constituents for whom they work?

What is a "Democrat" when they stand by and allow an undemocratic process unfold?

Politicians are very small transparent people. I have witnessed it over the last nine months - how frightened and threatened men are of Senator Clinton and to what degree they will go to deny it. The proobamedia is one thing, her colleagues another and the Kennedys another altogether. The loyalists to her husband running the other way when it was time to back a woman. Cowards in broad daylight giggling in the back rooms and heartily clapping barry - someone they don't know - on the back simply because he's an alternative to a pantsuit.

Ted Kennedy - your legacy may be set in American Politics but you have left me with a bitter taste. A bitter taste from a family I had always looked on as tolerant. A family my large Irish Catholic family had revered. I see now it was all a mirage. And it's very, very sad.

Sadder still were the few Kennedy's backing Senator Clinton who never stood forward and said so. Why? What impact does it have on the Kennedy legacy that some stood silent and did not let their dissent be seen because it was a conflict of interest within their own family? And what of the ones who did not encourage them to do so even though they were on barry's side?

Women in the Kennedy family have stood silent and let the most powerful politician, who just happens to be a woman, be trashed. One cannot hold them responsible for the decades of abuse - justified or not - heaped on Senator Clinton, but they have stood silent while the Kennedy name was used to promote barry. Plenty of them sticking up and saying how proud their father, uncle or whatever relation would be. Plenty doing their part to get barry elected. Plenty so happy about the resurrected pride and popularity that they have come forward to get their 15 minutes of name-related fame.

Do they all believe in their hearts and souls that barry is more qualified? That if he weren't a black man he would be president? That if it didn't make a nice tidy package for the Kennedy legacy, he'd still be The One?

And in regards to themselves - are they delusional enough to believe they have gotten to where they are because of their own intrinsic worth? That their family name had nothing to do with it? That they weren't given the benefit of the doubt because of it and have not been attacked in the media because of it?

And Senator Clinton's name? How has that impacted her political career? How scandalous would a female Kennedy have to be before the media went after her? Would a Clinton have survived Chappaquiddick? Any politician save a Kennedy?

How enlightening would it have been for one Kennedy woman to step forward, especially one obviously pro-barry - Caroline Kennedy even - to say that the misogyny and sexism is way out of control and should be no more tolerated than barry's own race baiting.

It is what I now associate with the Kennedy Legacy: silence.

Even if the Kennedy women hate Senator Clinton, even if they think barry is the second coming of Jesus or JFK or RFK - they have stood silent while a female politician of considerable political worth was attacked on everything from cleavage to thick ankles. They of the nasal Boston accent stood silent while Sen Clinton was attacked because of her Chicago cackle. They of the Democratic party stood silent while their fellow Democrat was attacked--through no fault of her own--because of men's irrelevance, impotence and castration anxiety.

Most disappointing (and most heinous) they have stood silent while Chelsea's mother was attacked on a fundamentally feminine level.

They have made their stops on Morning Joe talking about Catholicism in America and never once said, you know, Love They Neighbor includes Senator Clinton. Maria Shriver, First Lady of California and most visible female supporter of barry has said nothing about the misogyny and obvious sexism. Caroline Kennedy became head of the VP search and said nothing when her uncle said Senator Clinton was not noble or leader enough to become vice president. And yet, Senator Clinton took the initiative to shake Senator Kennedy's hand after he had endorsed barry.

What is Ms Shriver conveying to all the young girls of California? Of America? Of the world? How is she inspiring the young girls of any anything who aspire to be president one day? How is her silence reassuring young black girls that they have as much of a chance of becoming president as their little brothers? And that if they were to try their hair, makeup, body size, voice and clothing wouldn't matter?

Will any of the Kennedy women develop a conscience once Senator Clinton is working for barry? Will that be enough for them to become women first and Kennedys--who have never been discriminated against nor will they ever--second?

They have all seen what has been happening and none have said a word or raised an objection.

Nothing anymore exists to make me feel proud of the Kennedy legacy.

Same with Oprah - the supposed champion of women everywhere. It was the premise behind her academy: that women leaders will effect change in the world, that they are the ones who will bring peace and that they just need education and an opportunity to do so. Empty words it seems. Who could effect more change in the world RIGHT NOW while those young girls are still aspiring? Who could bring that dream to reality? To prove to them that it really and truly is attainable? Can they really believe what Oprah says? Can anyone?

It seems the tolerance JFK spoke of referred only to black male Americans. That it had nothing to do with their wives, mothers, sisters, nieces, grandmothers, neighbors, coworkers and rare bosses. Would Senator Clinton had been treated differently had she been a Kennedy? A black women?

Although the odds are against it, I hope I live long enough to hear someone admit that Sen Clinton she should have won. (Did win.) That barry cheated with the full knowledge and cooperation of the DNC, the Kennedys and proobamedia. That the daily attack on Senator Clinton and her supporters was a sanctioned, malicious, planned assault carried out with the knowledge and assistance of barry's camp, which included the Kennedys, DNC and proobamedia.

Something that has still not been made right even as barry mimes "Team of Rivals". If you knew barry at all, you would know he is assembling a team of political expedience. He is selecting people he can easily cut away and throw under the bus. Go through each one yourselves and check them off. Find one who doesn't fit affirmative action, Chicago payback and/or political expedience.

When you find one let me know.

What would our forefathers and forebears think? Would they believe barry's engineered election was one step closer to a More Perfect Union? Would they be proud of how barry race baited?

I think Abraham Lincoln would be sickened by the repeated references to him, his words and his accomplishments by someone who has accomplished absolutely nothing. Someone who stood silent even as he professed unity while his opponent - a woman no less - was destroyed in the media so that he could win. Thomas Jefferson would be chuckling at the hypocrisy of it all. And Martha Washington would sit quietly and cry having known in her heart that it was going to take more than 232 years to make things right.

This is what our society has become

A mentally ill teenager ingested a cocktail of pills, trained the webcam on himself, laid down on the bed and died while people blogged on. They knew what he was doing - he had posted a very clear suicide note. "Oh, that's not enough to kill you." "Go ahead and do it." It took ten hours before: "He's not moving" "He's not breathing" and then a human being with a conscience notified the site. The site: "we regret that this has occurred and want to respect the privacy of the broadcaster and his family during this time."

We regret.

And the human beings who watched?

His father: "He was a good son. I'm sorry that no one could help him when I was not around to help him myself. I wish they would have given him the assistance that he was crying out for. They did not respond to him. They only did long after the fact....You don't assume [it's a hoax]. You have to find out if it was true or false."

Don't do it, Senator Clinton. Please don't. Stay in the senate. Stay away from his sliminess. In the senate you win. You will always be stronger than him unless you allow him to be your boss. He wants to be directly more powerful than you and then he wants to be the one who takes you down. It's what he owes his media followers. It's what he wants the history books to read. He will never be the true messiah unless he obliterates "The Clintons."

Just say no and close the door and when he comes back to beg slam it in his face.

Yesterday Senator Clinton was appointed by Sen Ted Kennedy to lead a subcomittee task force to expand health insurance coverage. An enticement really. A small bone to tempt her to stay in the senate. She is never going to get to manage the healthcare issue. She had lobbied Kennedy and Reid to create a health-reform subcommittee for her to chair and was turned down. They will make sure that she has nothing to do with it. And today barry named Daschel to be head of the Health and Human Services - effectively blocking her last avenue to healthcare.

So it's secretary of state or going back to the senate where she will have make it look good appointments on the periphery of healthcare. There is no way Sen Kennedy would hand off the issue to Sen Clinton. It would mean decades of struggle culminating with a Clinton name. Never happen. He would rather it take more time than hand it to someone who could get it done faster. Country first?

I don't know why people continue to think barry is this noble guy looking to "gather a team of rivals". He is acting now like he always has and always will. He is doing the same thing he did with the bailout - sitting back and letting it go down. He is looking to destroy the rival who made it possible for him to become president and wants to tarnish the last Democratic president. There is no thought of America first or the real fact that Sen Clinton is perfect for the job. The president-elect had 33 days of overseas travel - one night in Europe and no trips to South or Central America - and his opponent physically visited over 80 countries mostly in official capacity and yet she has no foreign policy experience and he's fit to be president.

Explain that to me obamerized masses. Convince me that he isn't there because of his race, because he is a man and because the press hate "The Clintons". Not possible.

The most important part of foreign policy is diplomacy and the most important part of diplomacy is actually being in the country, eating the food, talking to the people and knowing the customs. She has done that in 80 countries. And she has done it interacting with women as well as dignitaries. They love her outside the US, especially in countries where women are oppressed.

1-Health care is gone in the senate.
2-Healthcare gone in the cabinet.
3-Secretary of state depends on Mr Bill's dealings, which he has every right to not disclose.
4-Once disclosed, barry has the chance to permanently tarnish President Clinton - jeopardizing the future of his Global Initiative and all the people in need - which of course doesn't matter to barry.
5-He can rescind the offer (if he had ever meant it in the first place).
6-By the way it was an intentional leak so the press could demean her even further - just as they did with the VP ruse.
7-She takes the job - she loses her senate seat.
8-After a reasonable amount of time barry fires her, leaving her with nothing to fall back on.
9-He gets away with it because the pro-obama media rejoice instead of challenging him.
10-The pink-faced presidential failures who could have prevented bush and Iraq are off the hook.
11-barry and axelrod laugh and give each other a high-five as Iran, Syria and Hamas bomb Israel.
12-barry doesn't care (he never did) because he accomplished his mission: defeating the Clintons while fraudulently winning the presidency.
13-And those American People so obamerized with what he represents give him a pass because it was THAT woman's fault anyway.

I came across an article by BUD WHITE: "Misogyny was the central narrative of the Obama campaign". And that it was. But barry had a boost - he's biracial raised by a white family after his dad abandoned him. No that won't work - he's black and doesn't look like the dollar bills. A classic battle: Man vs woman. Inexperience vs experience. Yes, we can - I hope vs yes, we will - I've done it. A media darling vs THAT woman. But what it came down to was racism vs sexism and in the end racism vs ageism.

barry used sexism as his offense and racism as his defense. Perfectly clear to those not mired in Hillary hate and free of obamerism. He needed to race bait because he needed the black vote -- the sexism came naturally. Here is barry playing the aggrieved black man when he grew up in the most diverse state in the union where interracial marriage was legal. He lives a privileged life - yes - and gets and Ivy League education and lives in a 1.65 million dollar house. He runs for president and suddenly he is speaking for the Oppressed Southern Negro when he had never been in the south, never lived under segregation and is not descended from slavery -- his family held slaves.

This election proved racism trumps everything. Proved the existence of The Double Standard. All three of the self-proclaimed Transcender of Race's opponents (and Mr Bill) left the race racists when none of them entered that way. And the Grand Uniter and Agent of Change! has done nothing to disabuse that notion.

Congratulations, Mr 44th president, on your honorable public life. I look forward to more because that CHANGE! you speak fraudulently of needs to start with you.

Washington Post's DAVID BRODER wrote an article detailing why Senator Clinton is not a good fit for secretary of state. Does any media member think she would be good at anything except baking cookies? Everything she does is shrouded in intrigue, is illegal, immoral, due to Mr Bill and nothing she has accomplished has been on her own merit. And yet, she fights on even as they to try to destroy her. When are they going to stop underestimating her? They're gonna have to physically tackle her to get her to stop. Anyway to have a little fun I emailed Mr Broder. I thought I'd include it here because it makes a point of barry's fairy tale on Iraq.

I was with you up until this:

"One of the principal reasons he was elected was that, relying on his own instincts, he came to the correct conclusion that war with Iraq was not in America's interest. He was more right about that than most of us in Washington, including Hillary Clinton."

I didn't think anyone still believed his fairy tale on Iraq. Did you find any newspaper clippings from the next morning documenting his life-changing, proof of superior judgment, politically expedient words?

He's against Iraq - things go well - no problem. Things go bad - he's where he is today.

His politically expedient words never quite make it into action and change as needed to avoid having to act.

How many issues did he "refine his position" on during the primaries? Since the nomination? Since the general election?

Do you also believe it was a high risk decision since he was in the 'midst of a heated Senate race'? A senate race he didn't announce until three months later? A senate race so heated he basically ran and won unopposed?

And when he had an actual chance to demonstrate his integrity, moral conviction and superior judgment?

He gave a politically expedient convention speech.

And when he got to the senate and finally had to act on his superior instinct?

He said nothing and voted the same as Senator Clinton.

Judgment cannot be assessed unless one's words are followed by action.

His have never been.

So, as you say, the principal reason he won was based on a fairy tale and his first unilateral decision with consequence will be as President of the United States.

You ok with that?

I really don't care. Just documenting how the lies prove pro-obama media bias. Notice how barry - the president elect - has allowed all this to go on just like the VP selection. Why are people shocked by this? He has no spine so he leaks it to the press to see the potential fallout. Can someone remind him he needs to take charge - not a vacation to sleep in his own bed? His passivity is truly inspiring.

Obama supporters point to her specific qualifications, her global celebrity, command of the issues and personal acquaintance with international players (assets Obama downplayed in his long campaign against her) as central to the decision to offer her the position.

MARK FELDMAN on HARDBALL doesn't look so smug anymore. He doesn't believe what he's saying looking back and forth between Republican John Feehery and hardball like a kid lying to his parents.

"Bold transformational change doesn't necessarily mean winning on a party line vote. That's why you see him meeting with John McCain. That's why you see him reaching out to Republicans. That's why you see him showing that he is going to govern from the center because big bold transformational change doesn't have-"

Hardball calls him on it and he starts laughing in relief. Face it folks. You voted for somebody you don't know and when he continues to do what he always does--rhetoric followed by "policy refinement" so he doesn't have to act--you're shocked.
