Selena Roberts' book: "A-Rod" release May 12

Selena Roberts' unauthorized expose on A-Roid titled "A-Rod" was originally planned for May, then was moved up to mid-April after Roberts, a Sports Illustrated reporter, broke the news that the Yankees slugger had tested positive for steroids back in 2003. A-Roid subsequently confessed...sort of. Blamed it on the fact that he was young...it was the culture...they weren't banned substances...and wishes he had had time to go to college. Problem being he was 26-28 when he used them. The book is evidently now completed and has been sent to the printer. In his Peter Gammons interview A-Roid expressed a lot of anger for Roberts who he dismissively referred to as "this lady".

Publisher HarperCollins. Releases date May 12. Wonder how many pre-orders there are and if Bud Selig got an advance copy.

Worst liar of the day: Stephanie Cutter

Stephanie Cutter, Michelle Obama's Chief of Staff is the worst liar out there. Somebody should send her back into hiding. The first time I saw her was the "lipstick on a pig" insult. She was raging and so obviously in a panic trying to cover for barry - her Irish face red and indignant. Me thinks she was most definitely protesting too much. They all were. I never knew there were so many democratic females until that day. Where were they when Sen Clinton was being bashed? There had to be close to 20 who came out and said it wasn't a sexist statement. (It was.) Now she's trying to answer for Biden being Biden and she has a tight smile on her face like your mother used to get when she couldn't hit you in public.

Obama devotee, Norah O'Donnell: "Joe Biden has continued his verbal gaffes out on the campaign trail, is that a big concern as you get ready for Thursday's debate?"

Ms Cutter shakes her head (good Irish girl can't tell a lie) and blinks giving her away. "I think the gaffes that people will remember (head shaking, blinking) in this campaign...goes to McCain's...it doesn't take away Biden's that play on You Tube forever."

Most of the Obama folks are bad liars...probably because no one ever challenges them. barry's body language gives him away so easily. Axelrod is a terrible liar (and worse human being). His voice, lips and shifty eyes give him away. Gibbs is an accomplished liar or at least able to maintain for his small video bites.

Before Matthews was completely obamerized. He went after Democratic state, Senator Kirk Watson, TX a strong obama supporter but like the others - knew not a thing about him. Barry hadn't made up the next chapter Pro-Obama MSM bias exists - this is one more clear evidence of it. Rep Stephanie Tubbs-Jones is dearly missed. She was so full of life. Enjoy her smile.

Matthews: "You are a big Barack supporter, right, Senator?"

State Sen. Watson: "I am. Yes, I am."

Matthews: "Well, name some of his legislative accomplishments. No, Senator, I want you to name some of Barack Obama's legislative accomplishments tonight if you can."

State Sen. Watson: "Well, you know, what I will talk about is more about what he is offering the American people right now."

Matthews: "No. No. What has he accomplished, sir? You say you support him. Sir, you have to give me his accomplishments. You've supported him for president. You are on national television. Name his legislative accomplishments, Barack Obama, sir."

State Sen. Watson: "Well, I'm not going to be able to name you specific items of legislative accomplishments."

Matthews: "Can you name any? Can you name anything he's accomplished as a Congressman?"

State Sen. Watson: "No, I'm not going to be able to do that tonight."

Matthews: "Well, that is a problem isn't it?"

No, Chris, it isn't. It hasn't been for you or anyone else. I have the original form letter endorsement the campaign sends out: Change! Hope! and No old Washington! coming from a man who grew up in the most corrupt politics in the US. It's not on his website anymore. How dense to they think people are? I saw the standard next day mea culpa somehwere but they're all the same too.
