CNN Lou Dobbs takes on the birth certificate issue this time with Rep Poe, a co-sponsor of Rep Posey’s barry soetoro birth certificate bill and Roland Martin, who is back to his campaign rant. A very different tone than his ha-ha this is funny CNN commentary. Just watch with the sound off. Rolly is one pist off dude – even as he tries to shrug it off as “hilarious”. I’m with Shakespeare here – methinks Rolly doth protest too much and he better get himself under control. The whole media needs to.

Lou Dobbs says something interesting that I have never heard before:

The State of Hawaii says it can’t release a paper copy of the president’s original birth certificate because they say the state government discarded the original document when the health department records went electronic some eight years ago.

When did they say this? It is entirely new info to me. Janice Okubo and Dr Fukino never alluded to that. Why wouldn’;t Dr Fukino have mentioned that? I have to find out what is going on. If this is a new statement it is quite curious indeed.

A comment, by the way, that was not quoted by the left-wing media. We’ll examine this controversy in our face-off debate here tonight.

I don’t know what the reality is. Do I believe he is a citizen? Yes, I do, absolutely, but I — I would think it would be a nice thing to produce that birth certificate.

DOBBS: Isn’t it interesting not a single outlet in the left-wing national media, just that little part of the national media, chose to include a single one of those quotes from me? We will have much more on the issue of the president’s birth certificate in our face-off debate — next.

DOBBS: President Obama promised transparency and openness in his administration. Yet, he’s chosen not to release his original birth certificate or a copy of it. And a number of Americans are asking, why not? The left-wing media has attacked me because I simply asked the question.

Meanwhile, the state of Hawaii says it can’t release a paper copy of the president’s original birth certificate because they say the state government discarded the original document when the health department records went electronic some eight years ago.

That explanation, however, has not satisfied some critics.

[I think this will be new information to a lot of people.]

DOBBS: Joining me now, Roland Martin. He’s CNN contributor, syndicated columnist. And joining us as well, Congressman Ted Poe. Before we get started, I want to be clear where I stand, because the — the left-wing media kind of forgot to leave out — kind of left a few things out. It was inconvenient to their stories. Just — just one statement, very quickly, if you will. Play that.

DOBBS: Why not? That’s the question, Roland Martin. What’s the answer?

ROLAND MARTIN, CNN CONTRIBUTOR: Well, first and foremost, he’s produced the document he received from the state of Hawaii.

[Has never been established that COLB image on the internet came from the state of Hawaii. Dr Fukino's spokeswoman said she couldn't say what that COLB was.]

MARTIN: Now, you are saying, where’s the original? According to the state of Hawaii, that is the document that establishes where he was born. So, what is the issue?

DOBBS: So, you don’t think…

DOBBS: So, you don’t think the president has a copy?

MARTIN: No, but what is the issue?

DOBBS: Well, the issue is…

MARTIN: I mean, he’s the president. He’s been certified. He’s in office.

DOBBS: Well, he’s a president. I mean, he’s not like a — I mean, you make it sound like he’s been anointed something beyond that.

MARTIN: No, no, he’s a president of the United States, the 44th.

DOBBS: Yes. Yes.

MARTIN: So, what — what is the point? I mean, exactly where is the story in this? If he has presented a document, the state of Hawaii has confirmed that — that he was indeed born there, what’s the issue?

[The state of Hawaii has not confirmed he was indeed born there. Period. That is the issue.]

DOBBS: Ted Poe, Congressman, what’s the — what’s the issue?

[REP POE unfortunately gets some things right and others wrong. Why can't folks understand this? And it's interesting he only uses the masculine pronoun in reference to future presidents.]

REP. TED POE (R), TEXAS: Well, the president has not produced a birth certificate. He has produced what is a birth announcement from the state of Hawaii. And this could all be settled if he would just produce the birth certify call. And that’s why we have introduced legislation that, in future elections, that the president prove that he is a resident for 14 years, that he’s over 35, and that he’s a native-born American. And that applies to everybody, and we get rid of all this controversy, and we move on down the road.

MARTIN: Congressman, it’s nonsense. First of all, you were a state judge in Texas. I was born and raised in Houston. I remember seeing your stories all the time. My dad, when I got him got a passport, he didn’t have his original birth certificate. He went to the Houston Department of Health and got a copy of his birth certificate. It satisfied his passport, satisfied the State Department. So, how can you say that’s legitimate; oh, but the president has not presented what the state of Hawaii said is an official document with their seal on it?

[ROLLY: THE STATE OF HAWAII HAS MADE ABSOLUTELY NO COMMENT ABOUT THAT COLB. There is no definitive evidence of a seal on that COLB - the back side is not shown in entirety. State Dept does not = Constitutional. Your dad got a copy of his birth CERTIFICATE. barry has not yet shown his. Period. This is all very straight forward.]

POE: Because it is not a birth certificate. It’s not even a copy of the birth certificate. It is a birth announcement. It is like me sending out a birth announcement for one of my children…

MARTIN: No. What is in the newspaper is a birth announcement.

POE: And that’s what it is.

MARTIN: That is an official document. What is in the newspaper is a birth announcement, Congressman. Come on.

DOBBS: Let — let — if I may interject…

[Lou gets the name wrong but has the right idea. CNNbots are barrybots and they put on the screen "OBAMA'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE" even as the whole show is about the fact that it is not a birth certificate. They know people are visual and it's subliminal as well and how many people already turned down the sound so they wouldn't have to hear Rolly rant like the proverbial fat boy protecting the jock?]

DOBBS: … do we have a — could we just put up a copy of that certificate — certificate of live birth? What you are looking at there, which I believe is the copy that comes from FactCheck.org or Annenberg, there’s no reference there to the attending physician. There’s no reference there to the hospital in which he was born. It is a certificate that refers to the fact that another certificate exists.

MARTIN: Is it an official state document?

DOBBS: I’m sorry?

MARTIN: Is it an official state document of the state of Hawaii?

DOBBS: Well, let me try this again, so I can be really clear about it. [Watch Lou's face.] It is a document that says there’s another document. It does not include that — you are referring to your father’s birth certificate. A copy of his birth certificate would have the doctor, the hospital that he was born in, correct? And this is the — and, by the way, this is just what people are concerned about.

MARTIN: No, no, whose people, first of all? You got 13 percent…

DOBBS: … 600,000 people who have signed a petition.

[Now it's off in they think he is a Muslim and that's why they want it. That is so tired Rolly let it go. Does anyone know what religion McCain, Clinton or Biden are? Did they do surveys? And how many people think Gov Palin is an Evangelical who banned books? And who started that rumor?]

MARTIN: Six hundred thousand. Thirteen percent of Americans, 39 million, still think he is Muslim. [He says Mooslum!] And we have done everything, Lou, to debunk that as an absolute lie. So, it is irrelevant.

[Rolly, how does whether 39M Americans think he's Moos-lum or not have anything to do with his birth certificate? Absolutely nothing. They already have a copy of his school registration that says, Religion: Moos-lum. As you said - he's president. What religion he is or is not (BTW: Has he picked out a church yet now that it is more politically expedient not to have one?) has nothing to do with his constitutional eligibility.]

DOBBS: OK. If you want to make it irrelevant, that’s fine.

POE: Well, I don’t know why you are getting so…

DOBBS: Yes, go ahead, Congressman.

POE: Well, I don’t know why you are getting so upset.

MARTIN: Because, Congressman, you probably — because you probably have better things to do, Congressman, than this silly little law here.

POE: … certificate for McCain. They were — your side was…

MARTIN: No, no, no, no, Congressman. Congressman, let me correct you with something.

POE: And, so, he produced his birth certificate..

MARTIN: Congressman, I want to…

MARTIN: Congressman, Congressman, nice try. But, first of all, I voted Republicans and Democrats. So, don’t try the “your side.”

[Rolly, quit while you're ahead. You thought it was hilarious in your rant and your tone matched. Your tone is very different tonite. Not only aer you pist - you are desperate and very much worried - which is most curious. What did you learn and from whom? And remember that whatever happens, barry and Michelle decided to put their egos ahead of their precious daughters' futures.]

DOBBS: Then laugh. But don’t — please, don’t…

MARTIN: But it’s utterly hilarious, Lou.

DOBBS: The congressman might take your remarks a different way. And I’m asking is that you just – you know, relax just a bit.

And let’s take a look at headlines from “The New York Times,” if we may, from last year, when at — at question was Senator John McCain’s citizenship, and see if we can see a difference in the way in which they have approached this — this issue.

This is “The New York Times.” “A hint of new life to the McCain birth issue.” “McCain’s canal zone birth prompts queries about whether that rules him out” — The New York Times,” and, in July of last year, with an article. I mean, it goes on. The issue of “Justices turn back on a challenge on Obama that has stopped squall of Internet-fueled rumors.” There’s an obvious difference in tone here from “The New York Times” when talking about John McCain than there is when they were talking about Barack Obama.

MARTIN: And I don’t care about the “New York Times” tone. The issue there…

DOBBS: But I do. And that’s why I bring it up.

MARTIN: Lou, your issue, though, is about a certificate. It’s not about how the media is covering it.

[The two go hand in hand. Had the media vetted him - had the media not been corrupted - this would not be a issue. Period.]

DOBBS: No, no. No, no.

MARTIN: So, which one is it?

DOBBS: My — my issue is this, OK? When this could be dispelled so quickly, and — and simply by producing it, why not do it?

MARTIN: He has produced a document that is satisfactory, but it’s not satisfactory to you. So, Lou, he’s not here to satisfy Lou Dobbs. He’s the president of the United States. He probably has other things that’s on his mind than satisfying Lou Dobbs.

DOBBS: Yes. And does that, then, what, just dismiss the concern?

MARTIN: No. He has presented a document that is legal. In the state of Hawaii, it is legal. It is a document. It’s there. Now, because you’re not satisfied, OK. And, Lou, if this…

[No one has confirmed that the document - which is just an image - is legal. A Hawaii COLB is legal in Hawaii but his has not been proven to have come from there. Call it semantics but it's true. And what's making people wonder - what is adding to the legitimacy - is the fact that he refuses to release his birth certificate.]

DOBBS: Don’t worry about my — don’t worry about my satisfaction.

MARTIN: No, no.
MARTIN: Lou, you’re the one who is still making this an issue.

DOBBS: No, no, please. Again, did you hear what I said?

MARTIN: Yes.

DOBBS: I believe he’s a citizen.

MARTIN: OK. So, why even continue the story? Is it keeping you up at night? It is a non-issue. It is irrelevant. You say so many Americans care.

[All citizens should care. It's called the Constitution.]

MARTIN: No, it is an irrelevant issue. It’s been established. He’s the president.

DOBBS: All right. All right.

MARTIN: What is the big deal?

DOBBS: Is there a big deal here, Congressman Poe?

POE: Well, I don’t know that it’s a big deal, but the best way we can prevent anything from happening in the future is produce the birth certificate.

And, if you’re going to — if you have your child that wants to be in the little league, you have got to show up with the birth certificate. You have got to prove that he’s a resident. And why can’t the president do that? And that’s all this legislation does, so that, in future elections, we don’t have these disagreements, we don’t have these problems.

DOBBS: Yes.

POE: Just produce the birth certificate. The document from Hawaii is not a birth certificate. That’s the bottom line.

MARTIN: This document…

POE: It’s a legal document, but not the birth certificate.

MARTIN: Congressman, Congressman, this document couldn’t pass by the little league in Hawaii? I mean, I think, if you were still sitting on the bench, you would say this is another one of those irrelevant, useless lawsuits that we see every single day.

POE: I probably wouldn’t say that.

MARTIN: You were a tough judge in justice. And you would probably say, come on, give me a break. Move on, guys. This is a waste of the court’s time and Congress’ time.

DOBBS: So, you’re not content to speak for yourself. You’re going to speak for Congressman Poe as well.

MARTIN: You know what? As somebody who watched him every day, he was a tough judge.

(LAUGHTER)

DOBBS: Congressman, Congressman, you get the last word here.

POE: Well, without belaboring the point, in the future elections, you know, the president — candidates — now, this has come up. It came up with Romney. It came up with Goldwater. It came up with McCain. Now it’s come up with Obama. Let’s just get over this by producing a birth certificate in future elections, prove the person was in the country eight — 14 years, they’re over 35, and we won’t have these disagreements. And I think that’s what we ought to do. That’s…

DOBBS: Congressman Poe, by the way, is a co-sponsor of Congressman Posey’s legislation to do precisely that, which he introduced back in March.

Ah. Roland Martin. Haven’t read one of his “commentaries” in a while and unfortunately barrypropaganda isn’t around anymore, who had a special fondness for “Rolly” and nominated him to the Most Ignorant media list. Strange that Martin chose to rant about birthers instead of Professor Gates. And it’s a true rant. Not a single fact is discussed – well, he includes Factcheck’s claim that they saw the “original birth certificate”. That should tell you are little he knows about anything.

He mentions the Rep Castle video and says “we have a serious problem with mental illness in this country” and that “the nut jobs that continue to promote this story are wacky, right-wing radio and TV talk shows hosts and no-credibility bloggers” who “actually want us to believe this story has legs”.

The story has legs because they keep giving it ones. They keep bringing it up. It’s never gone away. He says Judge Carter – who agreed to hear the merits of Alan Keyes’ case — “simply wanted to see for himself how delusional they are”. A federal judge needs entertainment? And the Supreme Court Justices?

And then he says a few things that are interesting. Very interesting.

What cracks me up is that in order to justify their loony beliefs, they say, “The president could just end this once and for all by producing the birth certificate.”

Do you actually believe these wackos will stop there? They will then accuse the president of doctoring the document and ordering up the state of Hawaii and federal officials to create the birth certificate.

The next thing you know, one of those nut job right-wingers in Congress — and yes, there are left-wing nut jobs as well — will demand a federal investigation into the production of the birth certificate.

Yes. It would all go away if he produced his long form birth certificate. So why hasn’t he? No one can answer this. It never would have been an issue had he released it from the beginning but they don’t seem to grasp that obvious fact. And he mentions the possibility of forgery and quo warranto. Most curious. Why?

Then he says “reporters and researchers concluded that Obama was born in the United States” and quotes Factcheck who said they “have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate.”

Even the most rabid birther haters by now know that the “original birth certificate” has been seen only by 2 people: Dr Fukino and another Hawaii official. Factcheck was referring to the COLB, which has never been connected to the original birth certificate that Dr Fukino accounted for. The “factchecker” called the document they were vetting by the wrong name illegitimizing their “conclusion”.

And the folks who use Factcheck’s words to back up their rants about people who are crazy?

And then barry should just ignore the folks he promised to be honest and transparent with.

President Obama is right to ignore these losers. They are right up there with Holocaust deniers like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and the people who insist that the landing on the moon was done in a television studio.

Sound familiar? As in Rachel Maddow ranting that birthers were responsible for the evil perpetrated in the Holocaust Museum? Chris Matthews just said the same thing to Rudy Guiliani.

Talk about ignorance, hate, fearmongering and conspiracy theorists.

Martin:

Conspiracy theorists are everywhere. It’s just that today, we have to deal with the Internet and all the mess that is disseminated in the name of so-called transparency.

Transparency.

Interesting use of the word. Where’s barry’s so-called transparency? If he actually was transparent and produced his birth certificate – contrary to Rolly’s rant – this would not be an issue…provided it was legit.

And who put it on the internet in the first place? Who put it out there in the name of transparency?

Now here is the other thing that pisses me off. Exactly what I was waiting for. Roland Martin on CNN is now talking about white America in glowing terms. He is finally mentioning something positive instead of BLACK AIDS! BLACK AIDS! the Bradley Effect and all the white racists who will never vote for a black man. Guess what Roland? He couldn't have won without the white or Hispanic vote. He couldn't have won so resoundingly if his campaign staff and volunteers were just comprised of black folks. I would really like a breakdown of the percentage of white volunteers he had. It is such a two-facedness it makes me angry and sad. And just as lost in all this is the fact that 232 years ago women weren't created equal - no matter the race. I can't go down that path. I can't imagine what Sen Clinton must be feeling every time she hears that "historic" and my kids can grow up to be president...boys only. Never have a more perfect union until a women becomes president.

Martin: He got an email from the daughter Viola Louisa the "white" mother from Michigan who drove down south to register voters. She was "blown away" on the highway by white supremacists. I wonder if their descendants were at Plain rallies yelling: "THAT'S him". The other allegation was completely unsubstantiated = false. And yet, everyone who watched that debate thinks McCain and Palin sanctioned KILL HIM ! KILL HIM! chants. Will there be a public apology to McCain and Palin? Absolutely not. Was there a public apology to "The Clintons". Absolutely not. Will there be apologies to WHITE AMERICA? Absolutely not. But barry plans on uniting the nation.

MARTIN: There were any number of whites who walked and who marched and who protested as well. I think of those white southern judges who put in Brown vs Board of Education who were disowned by family members.

Where was he thinking of these whites when he ranted about racist WHITE AMERICA? These people's (MSM) souls have been exposed and they all lack a consistency of character. I don't know if this is normal, as I never watched the news or watched CNN or MSNBC or FOX or whatever, but how can they do this when every words is on videotape? What do they do when no one is watching or listening? I won't have to wonder this anymore. It just is so shocking to me. The only one I have seen with integrity is Lou Dobbs.

Easier to rant than get his fat ass moving. That pix cracks me up! Maybe he's trying not to vomit his acceptable whites are racists rants because his ancestors were slaves. Well rolly-polly my grandfather was an abducted "ship boy" chained to a post on his journey to America when he wasn't cleaning vomit and shit off the decks or helping "bury" dead babies at sea. He didn't go through Ellis Island either and his name was " boy". He was stolen when he was five and can't remember what his real name was or what his parents looked like or if he had siblings. He thinks he's Scottish but has no way of knowing. My grandmother was given to a rich family as their servant because "No Irish need apply". So needless to say I don't have any white guilt and my ancestors had nothing to do with yours. My grandparents chose to cut themselves free from the chains of bondage like most American immigrants. And like BO my family had nothing to do with the plight of the Oppressed Southern Negro. BO is a descendant of slaveowners not slaves which seems to escape the press and black community. He was for lack of a better term a sperm donor who was glorified in a book of mythology written by a kid he met once. And how much did BO write about the white family who raised him? Stories of their supposed typical white person racism. Nobody in Hawaii that his grandmother worked with believed what he said about her and comparing her to GODDAM AMERICA the US of KKK A the government created AIDS so the chickens can come home to roost and kill 3000 Americans was totally filthy. Hawaii was prejudiced against haoles when he grew up. No whites held office. The state was 2 y/o. Interracial marriage was legal and it was not out of the ordinary to be biracial. Hawaii was the most integrated diverse state in the nation. BO wasn't at his mother's side when she died but he had no problem using her for a healthcare commercial or announcing he was on foodstamps when he was being labelled elitist by those bitter folks. The cover is a despicable attempt by barry's propaganda machine to discredit Gov Palin at her very core and strength as a charismatic, attractive woman. Every pix of barry in the magazine and online has been perfectly well-lit and airbrushed. Gov Palin's pix was an extreme close-up showing black heads, pores, a mustache and incompletely plucked eyebrows. All that was missing was the spinach in her teeth.

Gov Palin has been attacked as a human being, an Alaskan, an inarticulate hey ya yahoo, mother, a mother of a "DISABLED INFANT WHO WILL BE A DRAIN ON TAXPAYERS SO WHY DIDN'T SHE JUST ABORT IT", a mother who lied about her pregnancy and gave birth to her grandchild (lie), a hypocritical mother because her teenage daughter became pregnant, a mother who wants to charge rape victims for their rape kits (lie), a mother who doesn't care if women are raped and/or incested (beyond words), a mother people "would like to fuck" (beyond disgusting), a mother who is using her son's deployment (to courageously serve our country) as a political scheme, a loose woman who teenagers aren't safe around, a wife of a husband who commits incest, a crazy lady who wants to ban books (lie) but can't read herself, a woman who appeals just to "mindless WalMart moms", a ruthless killer of animals, an empty-headed ditzball of a beauty queen whose only talent is looking good in a bathing suit, an uneducated politician who went to different colleges and aspired to be a sportscaster (herr olbermann), an incompetent and dirty politician who has no future and, of course, the familiar refrain: she's a racist....all in what six weeks?
