Old home week: Bush gone wild

December 30, 2008

A few of the millions of Bush moments and Bushisms. Recruiterments...I met an onion grower at the airport today...I was raised in the desert but tides kinda turn--it's easy to see a tide turn. Did I say those words?

Make sure you're somewhere you can laugh out loud.

A few Bushisms from Political Humor
Anyone engaging in illegal financial transactions will be caught and persecuted.

I'll be long gone before some smart person ever figures out what happened inside this Oval Office.

The decisions we make in Washington have a direct impact on the people in our country, obviously.

I don't particularly like it when people put words in my mouth, either, by the way, unless I say it.

My job is a decision-making job, and as a result, I make a lot of decisions.

As yesterday's positive report card shows, childrens do learn when standards are high and results are measured.

I'm going to try to see if I can remember as much to make it sound like I'm smart on the subject.

Old home week: Wright

Barry's old uncle, who sometimes says things he doesn't agree with. Things barry admitted he knew about. Things that weren't foul enough to cut that old uncle loose from his official campaign position for three more months. Things that were written off as out-of-context sound bites until he made one long clearly in context sound bite that even the pro-obama media couldn't spin. barry got pist because Wright ranted the truth. (Have to admit the Grambling bit was hysterical.) That barry gave the speech because it was politically expedient. I guess wright remembered the Iraq Fairy Tale speech. The reporters didn't. Not a word about it in the paper the next day. And have you ever heard him say that the rally was Rev Jesse's show?

I wonder what wright thought about being compared to a typical white person? Enjoy!

Old home week: Louis Farrakhan

One of the Million Men with whom barry marched to Washington according to his book. A man who says he is not an Anti-Semite and many other interesting things. Partial transcript of Farrakhan's "congratulatory" sermon about the president-elect. (Very depressing.)

Barry is the messiah.

Here are two recent videos (10-13-08) of Minister Farrakhan talking to Al Jazeera. I hate to even say that word and will not infect this blog with their videos. Part 1 and Part 2.

FARRAKHAN: "Black excellence in all fields of endeavor will cause whites to say: 'Ah, I can respect this person as an equal'."

Who are theses "whites" and why can a black man speak about them so monolithically? And who are the ones separating themselves?
