Update 1: still don’t know why Oprah wasn’t there but she announced there will be an Oprah primetime Christmas special filmed at the WH.

Oprah was most definitely not there – Gayle King was. How’s that for paying Oprah back? King said Oprah was out in California working on her plans for her cable network, as if that’s more important than the first black president’s – who she went out of her way to help get elected – first state dinner.

Oprah Christmas special with POTUS/FLOTUS

Well this is interesting – in general and also the timing of its release.

Oprah wasn’t at the State Dinner but she will be hosting a hour-long primetime Christmas special (Dec 13) with the first couple: Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special. Set to air December 13, 9 pm CST on ABC.

Would like to know when Oprah was invited and how long this has been in the works because it’s a mystery why she wasn’t at barry’s State Dinner. (List of guests)

Still haven’t discovered an explanation. Oprah the media mogul could have used the opportunity to hype the special.

Is a white former VP candidate and mother of five children being called a slut different than black college athletes being called nappy-headed ‘hos?

Why?

Why should one person lose their job and the other go unsanctioned?

If you reacted in a different way than to Letterman’s similar comments about Gov Palin, ask yourself why.

What crossed the threshold for you?

Was it because of Gov Palin’s political party? Because of her religion? Because her oldest teenage daughter was “knocked up”? Because she has, as NEWSWEEK’s Jonathan Alter referred to Trig, a DISABLED INFANT?

Because of the way she talks? Because her skin is white? Because “slut” in your mind has a different meaning than “‘ho”? Because you feel it’s apt?

Are they not both women? Mothers? American political figures known on the world stage?

Is not disrespecting one woman, disrespecting all?

Or is disrespect and sexism ok for some and not for others?

Say, perhaps, ok for Secretary Clinton and Governor Palin but not for First Lady Michelle Obama?

Is sexism specific to skin color or ethnicity?

So why is it you reacted differently?

What exactly was the deciding factor?

I am truly curious because I cannot understand some of the comments folks are making out there. What goes on in their small bigoted minds.

65th Anniversary of D-Day

And what type of Commander and Chief sits like this unless it’s intentional? He’s surrounded by cameras every day and knows exactly at what angle he is being shot.

(From the G20) The First Lady is oblivious to the camera angle, which catches her exposed inner thigh.

Here are the boys’ near miss back in April for the G20. Sarkozy has the same fondness for barry as does the American press. And barry…? looks like he’s ready to do what he did to Dr Biden at the convention when he made his “surprise” appearance.

It’s probably why the First Lady of France chose to just shake barry’s hand.

Whereas the First Lady of America, looks like she’s going to pick up the little gingerbread man and bite his entire head off after she finishes Hannibal Lectoring him.

Please someone teach the First Couple etiquette and protocol and most of all show them what their body language is saying. They seem not to have a clue or interest in getting one. Here they look like Ellie Mae and Jethro.

Imagine if these photos were the first time you were seeing the Obamas. What would you think about the First Couple? How would feel about them representing the US on the world stage?

What do you think Arab countries would think about Mrs Obama, as pictured? Flashing her inner thigh and mannishly grabbing the President of France and literally sucking his face?

And what would the Japanese Prime MinIsiter’s wife feel sitting across from barry who looks like he’s using the presidential commode?

Note the shrinking posture and mannish awkwardness of Mrs Obama’s shoulders, chest, arms and hands. She looks lost and uncomfortable and not on par with the quiet but commanding feminine posture of the first Lady of France. The same quiet posture she had in their seated photo. Here they look fairly similar in size – the patterned dress/jacket flaring at the bottom making Mrs Obama look wider across the middle than she is, especially next to the straight silhouette of the neutral color. Patterns and lively colors look great on Mrs Obama but she has to realize she will be paired up with much smaller women (and male heads of state) and the busyness will just accentuate the difference.

Now go back and look at their seated photo where the lower half of Mrs Obama’s body dominates the picture making her appear twice the size of Ms Bruni. She has to realize where the camera is in comparison to her and the woman she is seated with. She uncrosses her legs puts them together and opens her posture — completely different photo. If she is given the choice should take the seat furthest from the camera. Is someone working with her on these things? Or doesn’t she think she needs it?

Now here’s all four. What do you notice besides Napoleon trying to get even? Look closely.

Here’s a prefect example of the problem with busy prints – the flags – which they routinely are photographed in front of. She should always be aware of where the official pictures re going to be taken. Again Ms Bruni is perfect – hard to compete with a model but a good person to learn from because of her height. See leans back from the camera ever so slightly to make herself look less tall. Of course he gives it away as did whoever circled it.

Mrs Obama gets an A for her legs and feet here though she is still too square to the camera. And there’s too much open surrounding her – the stars and stripes competing with the print and tie/scarf. Once again the flaring of the bottom of her jacket could have been pulled together and held with her hand if necessary with her thumb if her hands were like Ms Bruni’s.

But did you see the worst part of the photo?

Look at barry’s suit. He’s in fashion central and his suit is a giant wrinkle. His left trouser looks like corduroy in the inseam and below the knee both are a mess. It was his coming out party and he looked like he slept in clothes.

This media lovefest of denial has got to stop. Does any “reporter” or whatever they fancy themselves have integrity? Or even a semblance of a grasp on reality?

Have they always been like this? I only got involved last January and only then because of the obvious barry bias. What I would like to know is if they really believe the crap they write or they’re doing it because they don’t have any choice. Because if they tell the truth at this point the world will see how corrupted and ridiculous they look.

It’s too late. Eighteen months too late.

Here’s Michael Wolff over at Vanity Fair – something I’ve never read. And after reading his words – which made my skin crawl – I won’t ever again. He prattles on with jagged excessive words about what a genius sarcastic “I don’t know – I’ll get back to you” Robert Gibbs is. It made me wonder if he was writing it in the bathroom with only one hand on the keyboard.

I won’t even dissect the article because the tone of the words is too creepy. Here’s just a few quotes.

When did this become news?

It’s been that way since at least March 3, 2008 when the obamerized man-loving press allowed barry to walk away after answering like, 8 questions, already. They were completely corrupted at that point and I argue that Gibbs had nothing to do with it. The press were willingly and knowingly entrenched in a pathological glazed-eye crush of a man they knew nothing and still don’t know anything about.

They chose to become corrupted and have remained so. Polls have proven it and the media has even admitted it – laughing all the way ha-ha-ha.

Folks like Mark Halperin and Tony Blankley, with his dismissive reference to “weird little internet sites”, went on record just to go on record. They did nothing in the heat of the battle. They did nothing when it could have mattered.

What good are their words after the fact?

The national press corps is barrymedia. MSNBC is barry TV. NEWSWEEK is the pro-barry propaganda newsletter. Kos and Huffington Post are his blogging slaves and Factcheck is completely biased – their “factchecks” ridiculously parsed – most notably the “birth certificate” that Gibbs lied about and said was online.

The mainstream media across the board have willingly chosen to embargo anything not probarry and have magnified any possible anything against his opponents/enemies/naysayers to cover up barry gaffes.

Case in point: Joe Biden made a remarkable admission about the young president being tested by a generated crisis and to just hang with them no matter what the polls say. He basically said that barry is going to need help because he’s clueless and that he – Biden – already knew what the crisis was going to be and how they were going to react.

And what does the media chooses to focus on?

The wardrobe.

Mika Mommy Brzezinski declared a “Biden attack-free zone” with Scarborough saying on air that he was going to email around to see if the media was going to run with the Biden story. Dan Rather, who one would think would be incensed, sat quietly and commented that if it was Gov Palin instead of Joe Biden it would be an above the fold story. Goebbels never had it so easy.

Historians are going to wonder what was in the water. The New York Times that Wolff mentions several times has already started admitting they willfully did not report things that could have hurt barry – surprise – like the recent ACORN revelation by Hoyt. His justification was humorous: it wouldn’t have mattered anyway.

It doesn’t matter if was a completely innocuous story. They withheld the information. They made a choice to help a candidate – something the public overwhelming believed they would do and did. They were willingly corrupted. They have lost all credibility – something they can and will never regain.

Their corruption began early on with the story about Sen McCain. And what they did to Senator Clinton was unconscionable. And despite theirs and the rest of the daily, often hourly, barrymedia attacks – Sen Clinton got the same amount of votes. He won 11 in a row and couldn’t close. He never won anything — he was anointed by the just as intentionally corrupted DNC who had put a mechanism in place to favor him.

What if it were Michigan and Florida instead of Nevada and South Carolina?

What if Sen Clinton was the one given votes decided on behind closed doors in a state where her name was never on the battl?. That little transaction forever illegitimized the primaries.

And even after he was anointed he needed Sen Clinton to stump for him. And this man of character intent on Change! and Uniting! Transcending Race! and Reaching Across the Aisle! couldn’t even reach across his own party. He didn’t even have enough integrity (self-confidence) to call off his attack dogs.

He’s never been in it just to win it. Victory means destroying his opponents – with his barrymedia assisting him the whole way. His ego, so massive he couldn’t bear to talk to his democratic predecessor. Still can’t. Says a great deal about his insecurities and gross lack of governing skills.

He did not win this election in any fashion. One-third – 8 million – eligible black voters couldn’t even be bothered to register to vote for “the first black president”. There wasn’t a “massive voter turnout” in the black community. After 8 years of Bush and with barry as the candidate only 2% more black voters turned up at the polls. And the caucuses were won in predominately white states — although Iowa got a boost from a couple of bused in barry voters.

Sen Clinton’s bitter bowling alley babes a’totin’ their guns and a’quotin their Bibles and the feminazis and those racist blue collar workers who would “never vote for a black man” and Hispanics won it for barry. Sen Clinton’s demographics. She turned them around after the convention from 58 – 85% all the while barrymedia attacking her motives and terrorizing her for mentioning the blatantly obvious sexism, gyne envy and misogyny.

How can anyone in the barrymedia think they are in any way ethical? Or for that matter even useful?

They are a complete embarrassment to the “profession” – if one still exists. Pulitzer Prize winner Mo Dowd rips off a blogger and Bob Herbert can’t even recognize the Washngton Monument.

The White House press corps doesn’t bother to ask any questions that Gibbs isn’t ready for. And if perchance they ask something meaningful – like how much did the trip to New York cost – Gibbs has no answer other than uh, uh, uh. His face gets red and forehead starts to sweat like it did when he was lying to the willing to be lied to press about why they were flown to Chicago when barry wasn’t even on the plane.

They let Gibbs get away with: “I don’t know, I’m not sure, I haven’t talked to barry about that, I don’t have my notes with me…let me check and I’ll get back to you”.

Does he?

Read or just scan the transcripts of the press briefings. All you need to do is look at three and you’ll see that day after day the press is made a fool of by Gibbs – not because he has this power or because he knows anything – but because the press allows him to. Gibbs very rarely answers the question and when he gets pressed he reverts to sarcasm, I don’t think The American People…”, sarcasm and frat boy faces. I don’t know what press briefings Wolff is watching but they’re entirely unprofessional. All that’s missing is a kegger, some strippers and strewn pizza crusts.

The headliner:

The Obamas may have the smartest, most finely calibrated press operation in White House history, parceling out scoops (The New York Times), partisan talking points (the Huffington Post), and First Family tidbits (the celebrity mags) to a desperate media. Just don’t ask them to admit it.

It’s not clear who he means by “they”.

Toward the end:

The balance of power has surely shifted—although you won’t get anyone in the White House to say that. Except every day you can read it in press secretary Gibbs’s cockiness and condescension.

And it’s that way because the press is too castrated to say it themselves. And what is the time frame of “has”? It’s been that way almost since the beginning.

And this:

There is too the Obama 30-point advantage—he’s got America eating out of his hand. Gibbs has, at least so far, an easy product to sell. And then there’s the personal insecurity on the part of members of the incredible shrinking press—their days are numbered and they know it.

Yo, Mr Wolffe – barry doesn’t have “America” eating out of his hand. You folks are mesmerized. The folks who are in touch with reality see right through barry and the press is shrinking because “America” knows that they have been corrupted and nothing they write approximates the truth. Why would they pay for fiction when they can find the truth on the internet?

Ok fifteen minutes is enough time wasted.

Time to find out why the “smartest, most finely calibrated press operation in White House history” had to demote the First Lady’s Chief of Staff. I’m sure it’s just Chicago payback for Ms Sher with the help of Valerie Jarrett getting Michelle Obama a job at U of C Medical Center (turning away indigents from the ER so they could make more money) and then getting her a $195,052 raise [$121,910 to $316,962] 2 months after barry was sworn in as senator. I guess since barry couldn’t come through with the $1M earmark for U of C the Mrs had to handle it herself. Just like a former Mayor Daley staffer and daughter of a precinct captain knows how to do.

Ms Sher and the First Lady have a long history intertwined with Valerie Jarrett (Anyone hear from her lately?) working together with Mayor Daley and the University of Chicago Medical Center. barry couldn’t make good on the $1M payback earmark for U of C MC in gratitude for his wife’s $192,052 raise [$121,910 to $316,962] 2 months after hewas sworn in as senator so Michelle had to do it herself.

The question is why did it take so long and what was the inciting factor? And what are the chances the media is going to press for the information? I imagine not too good considering they didn’t pick up on this until today.

In her new position, she will work on legal issues associated with health care and will be advise First Lady Michelle Obama. Sher worked with Obama while the First Lady was Vice President for Community and External Affairs at the Medical Center.

From 1993 to 1997 she was the Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago, the City of Chicago’s chief lawyer; she reported to the Mayor and was responsible for representing the Mayor, city departments, boards and commissions on all legal matters. WH Press Briefing

Robert Gibbs is asked a routine question – about barry’s date night – that he is not prepared for so he responds as usual with sarcasm. He really is a very small, insecure person. I wonder how his children are going to feel watching dad make fun of folks as a defense while working for the highest Office in the land. And the press as usual don’t press him any further. They’re all spineless castratos – including Tapper, Henry, Martin and “Chip”. “April” and “Battleaxe Helen” are the only two willing to take him on.

Look at the way he phrases it. Why should the press allow the press secretary to decide whether to answer something? As long as they don’t make him – why would he?

MR GIBBS: Jonathan.

Q Robert, are you going to tell us how much the President and the First Lady’s date night cost on Saturday night, and if not, why not?

MR. GIBBS: Well, Jonathan, uh-uh-uh I think as uh-uh, as-as uh, uhm, you know, I-I-I spokespeople have spoken to this over the weekend that the President uh,uh would — had-had he or could he, based on the Secret Service, he would have taken the shuttle. Uhm, but uhm, I would say that the costs are proportionate with, uh, travel for Presidents. And I would encourage you, uh, to look up previous coverage on travel costs, uh, because they’re analogous.

Q But is there any President or a President and First Lady who have taken an out-of-town date night like this, not connected to an official or even a political — previously planned event?

MR. GIBBS: You’ve-you’ve got probably, uh, more researchers than I do.

Fine — if he wants to go with the it’s no different than other presidents. Problem is barry said he was going to bring Change! and that he was going to be different than the other presidents. And one of the promises was to cut down on “wasteful government spending”. One of those researchers should add up the cost of his adoration tours to swing states and fundraisers and the flyover and the NYC date. They most definitely would not be commenserate with any other president’s travel in the first 5 months. Not even close. And when barry was in the senate his CODELs cost the most out of any senator.

The topper? Mayor Bloomberg’s reaction, which he said in all seriousness.

3 planes + 2 helicopters + 1 motorcade + 600 NYPD/SS = ??? K

How could barry justify that trip? It took 2 helicopters, 3 planes, (them, press, staff) 1 motorcade and 600 police/security/Secret Service and hundreds of citizens inconvenienced just for barry to go on a date. They had dinner, drinks and went to see August Wilson’s play: Joe Turner’s Come and Gone about a “man coming to terms with the history of slavery”.

BARRY: I am taking my wife to New York City because I promised her during the campaign that I would take her to a Broadway show after it was all finished.

Why couldn’t he take her when he was already in New York for some other reason? It’s so irresponsibly selfish there’s really nothing to say. And he had the nerve to chastise the car executives for flying instead of driving? What’s the difference? Taxpayers are paying for both.

New York Post:

Taxpayers footed the bill for the big night on the town, which included a total of at least $24,000 for the three aircraft used to ferry the Obamas, aides and reporters to New York and back. Dinner costs and orchestra seat tickets — at $96.50 apiece — were paid by the Obamas.

Mayor Bloomberg didn’t find anything wrong with barry’s date night because the president doesn’t make that much money and, ya know, he’s on a budget, too. No kidding. He’s enamored with barry, He’s got that glazed-eyed look.

RNC criticized the Obamas for having a night on the town while Americans are still struggling to pay bills.

That criticism is so off-base, I wouldn’t even mention it, even take it seriously. I thought it was more pro forma.

We’re ecstatic to have the Obamas come here. I can’t think of anything better as an advertisement for tourism industry, for Broadway, for our restaurants, for saying that this is a safe city and an affordable city.

The President doesn’t get paid that much. He’s on a budget, too.

The fact that we have to have a large security detail is just a fact of life when the president moves.

But the president has to set an example for the rest of the country…crisis of confidence.

And the fact that the Obamas are out there, sharing in what’s wonderful about America — the theater, Broadway, freedom of travel, meeting people – I think is just great, so I would love to have the Obamas come back here as much as they want.

It does cost us a little extra in security, but given the advertising value of having the President and the First Lady come here is worth many times over that. It’s a very good deal for us.

Besides being an absolutely ludicrous statement – he may be on a budet but he didn’t foot the bill for the entire date. Tickets and maybe dinner but nothing else. And Mr Transparency’s mouthpiece Mr Gibbs refused to answer how much the date cost.

Here is yet another chance to see how the media (mis)treats powerful women and how they treat each of the women differently: Former First Lady and now Secretary of State Hillary Clinton…Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi…First Lady Michelle Obama…First Lady Laura Bush…Governor Sarah Palin and Judge Sonia Sotomayor. And then there’s Caroline Kennedy and Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

Race was not the enlightenment of this election – unless you want to talk about 1/3 of eligible black voters who couldn’t bother to register and how the whiteys are racists black pundits avoided the issue.

barry’s making it 100% about race was not news – it was the only way he could win.

How is 95% of one – any – demographic group not identity politics?

95% of his voters were not voting for his opponent.

Voters that the week previous had been behind his opponent.

Voters that in the interim hadn’t heard a change in barry’s policies.

How many black blue collar workers were voting for Clinton?

How many white blue collar workers were voting for barry?

A lot more than 5%.

And “hardworking” is some type of racial code word but Donna Brazile’s “Jane and Joe Six pack” isn’t?

Or Roland Martin telling Joe the Plumber to “Go fix a bathtub!”?

barry used race until he finally had to admit to it (after the usual three denials) and then switched to the “Kill Him!”accusations, which were disproved by barry’s own Secret Service, who were in attendance and heard nothing…no one did…but the reporter.

And what did concerned citizen reporter do after hearing terroristic threats on the POTUS’ life?

Did he immediately alert the Secret Service or the local police?

Nope.

They found out about it like everyone else — in the unfounded accuser’s post in a paper that had endorsed barry.

No, the enlightenment wasn’t race — it played out as planned and as implemented.

The enlightenment was the reality of sexism.

How at the core nothing has changed. How accepted and acceptable it is.

Still.

Younger men have tolerance in regards to race, religion and sexuality, but not toward women.

Sadder still, are the young women who think “Girls Already Rule!”

Not even close.

Look at the women in the above list. Take what was said and written about Secretary Clinton and insert a different name.

Imagine if First Lady Michelle Obama were referred to as “It”.

Just “It” as in “It” cried.

And if Glenn Beck were to say the same about Judge Sotomayor?

Would he still have his job?

And Rush Limbaugh is talking about “reverse racism”.

What has been made perfectly clear over the last two years is the Double Standard and the hierarchy of isms.

Will Judge Sotomayor be treated deferentially because she is a minority?

Or will she be attacked with the same old garden variety sexism?

Will she be mercilessly assaulted on all fronts like Secretary Clinton and Governor Palin or coddled like First Lady Michelle Obama?

Ok. This is disgusting. For a variety of reasons. Most notably because barry did it with the full intent of being photographed. He knew it would get published just like the one in PEOPLE where he was pictured topless - manboobs and all - coming out of the water...he wasn't quite parting the sea yet. He knew full well they were photographing him. He knew it would end up somewhere like it is now. He is not even commenting.

Perhaps the Japanese Ambassador could present him with a manssiere or a bullet-stopping miracle bra.

Did he think twice about his daughters before he okayed this?

Or was he finding a way to thank Chris Matthews?

It comes down to one thing: decorum. He has none. Nor does Michelle. And neither think they need to acquire some. I wouldn't go so far as to say Elly May and Jethro, as the person did who shall remain nameless. But neither understands the gravity and dignity that must accompany the Office of the Presidency and position of First Lady.

Their lack was well on display during their coming out to the world, as well as throughout the last two years. Here are just a few.

Campaigning (too numerous to count):

Trashed the last Democratic President throughout. "Too busy" to call him. Still refuses to dispel the ridiculous notion that the former President and the former First Lady are racists. This a man who said he was going to transcend race in his politically expedient speech.

Allowed Rep Clyburn (on more than one occasion) to insinuate that former President of the United States is "crazy" and then completely disrespected Mr Clinton by telling him "to chill".

Allowed Rep Lewis to compare Former POW Senator John McCain - both heroes in different wars - to George Wallace.

Soundly criticized President Bush for "campaigning" while he was giving a speech in Israel. Even if he was - he wasn't (just like none of barry opponents were racist and no one yelled "Kill Him!") - Bush was the POTUS representing The American People on the world stage and what barry did was entirely uncouth.

And he has the nerve to whine about what Cheney is doing? How often did barry make fun of what a terrible job President Bush did?

What goes around comes around, especially in Washington.

First trip:

Releasing his Wailing Wall note to the press - before it was "stolen". Then not speaking up.

Taking questions from the French audience like he was a head of state and not merely a candidate, who hadn't even been nominated yet.

REPREHENSIBLE: Chose not to see out brave troop lying in a hospital on foreign soil and then blamed it on the Pentagon and Sen McCain.

Transition:

Ever respectful, barry joked about a genuinely graceful woman well-versed in etiquette: "I didn't want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about doing any seances." Maybe not, but Michelle should watch some of Mrs Reagan's footage as First Lady and learn a few things.

Rudely asked to move into Blair House and then were outraged when they were told no.

POTUS:

Awkwardly shook the Marine's hand who was standing guard by Marine One.

Waved instead of saluting the war veterans he had just awarded the Medal of Honor.

Dismissively and without explanation sent back Churchill's bust, which was given to President Bush as a sign of unity after 911.

Didn't properly welcome Prime Minister Gordon Brown to the White House with the official 2-flag photo op as per protocol. Brown was given a rushed meeting because barry was "tired". Two months in?

Presented the tackiest of gifts: DVD's and Michelle gave the children plastic toy Marine One helicopters.

Official First Lady photograph shows just the side of Mrs Brown's face.

Compares his bowling skills to the Special Olympics and never apologizes or is held accountable.

Second trip:

Refused to visit Normandy Cemetary.

Called the press "foreigners" when he was the foreigner.

Dodged their questions because he wasn't prepared.

Made fun of the female Indian reporter's pride in her Prime Minister.

Bowed to the beast.

Says nothing about North Korea's missile launch.

Who among you thinks barry could have reacted if that was headed at the US? How would he have reacted? Let me talk with Kim Jung-Il?

Third trip:

Shook hands and grinned like a stoner with a tyrant who called our previous president "The Devil".

Smiled and laughed during a 45 minute tirade against the country and the people he is representing - without voicing a single word of rebuttal. 100% inexcusable and has nothing to do with "diplomacy" his naive version or any other.

And through it all he defiantly insists he did nothing wrong and lets his press secretary lie for him. Not just deny - LIE.

And it also demonstrates the media's ongoing pathological love affair. It is the creepiest thing I've ever witnessed and it still hasn't gone sour no matter the gaffes he continues to make. No matter how he panders and no matter how he disrespects our allies and/or The American People.

He is fond of saying "it's not about him".

These last two trips have proven it is all about him and his need for adoration.

But Garrett Gaffe, editor-at-large for the magazine, told CNN the picture is appropriate because, "our feeling was that this wasn't an ordinary presidency."

"The Obamas, through their involvement in Washington, are helping to showcase just how exciting it is to be in Washington right now" he said. "We use the word 'hot' tongue in cheek with the photo."

Etiquette lessons for the President and First Lady

Who is responsible for teaching this? The party planner social secretary?

Someone needs to school them on the proper behavior on the world stage, in front world leaders who have their own customs and protocols. Body language is the universal form of communication and both of them seem to have a complete lack of awareness of their own.

Look past the shallow raves about the first black president and fashion conscious First Lady and truly dissect their performance. Study the footage and see what needs to be improved upon. Make the First Lady sip tea in the White House with ambassadors and their wives so she can learn firsthand the protocol and see how she is received on her own turf.

Their coming out - when viewed through non-obamerized lenses - reveals a stunning lack of etiquette. The First Lady rubbing the Queen's back. A reciprocal touch seemed fine but not the commoner backrubbing. The Queen physically moved away and gave the First Lady a rather remarkable dagger of a stare. Look at the footage.

And then there's barry looking totally lost with the heads of states not under the obamessiah spell. When greeting them formally, on their level, he looked extremely uncomfortable and robotic. Doubters - can't help you on this. The body language doesn't lie. Watch the footage and compare it with videos of Mr Bill.

They got off to a rocky start with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his family - barry a short hurried meeting - not the usual two flag photo op. The Browns gave thoughtful, personal gifts and Michelle handed out plastic helicopters from the White House gift shop and barry, DVD's. She could at least have given them a one of barry's Air Force One/Marine One jackets with the patches that he thinks are so cool. It would have shown she put some thought into it, as she would have have had to inquire about their sizes - like Mrs Brown did in getting Malia and Sasha beautiful dresses.

Giving the cheap plastic toys was like Dick Chaney wearing a hunting parka - coarse and disrespectful.

And the ipod? Yes, it's an American product but were is it manufactured? Again, there is no personal touch - even with what "he" uploaded. And what's up with barry's disdain for Churchill? Why did he return Churchill's bust? Even if he did not want it in the Oval Office - he should have placed it somewhere else. It was another example of personal arrogance without regard for the message it sends as POTUS.

Do you think the British ambassador is ever going to forget? And then there's the fact that it was a gesture of solidarity after 911.

What does barry think diplomacy entails? Words?

Does he think his actions are exempt?

Did he swallow his pride and apologize to the Indian correspondent?

Did he pick only "foreigners" in his press conference today?

No. And one just so happened to be from Chicago. What are the odds?

In front of the world, barry became a friend of England just to steal the attention from the host country. It was like barry taking questions from the audience without Szargozy's direction.

Media - do your job an hold barry and the First Lady to the standards of the other presidents. It's time to stop with the free passes. Your job is to keep him honest and expose their breeches of etiquette.

Blueblood Richard Wolffe - where is your critique? Right. Like that is going to ever happen. It would affect book sales.

Please - someone - teach them etiquette.

Teach Michelle to smile politely and not with her teeth barred - to clap without her hands covering her face - to stand for photos not full on with her feet splayed. Look at the photos of Michelle with the First Lady of Frace and take special note of Bruni's feet. It's subtle but it softens her entire look.

Michelle has to be extra graceful because her height exaggerates the miscues and it intimidates the smaller world leaders, whether or not it is intended, whether or not they are aware of it. It is her job to always be mindful of it, such as being photographed sitting, rather than standing.

And please stop the comparisons to Jackie O. She had a natural grace that Michelle will never achieve and can only hope to approach. It is an direct insult to the manner in which First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy comported herself - always with class - even with the blood of her assassinated husband on her clothing.

Michelle needs to learn the basics of First Lady etiquette - how to soften her body and her gestures. She tends to lean forward with an open mouth. Watch how she grabs the First Lady of France by the upper arms and pulls her forward so she could do that double peck. Even if they are the best of friends and do this in their private meetings - in public and in the photo ops, she needs to dampen it. The grabbing was a masculine movement. Similar gestures and movements on the stump were why folks thought she was an angry woman.

One can be assertive and strong without displays of testosterone. No one does it better than the woman Michelle Obama repeatedly bashed about "getting her house in order". The woman Michelle said went out of her way to help prepare her to be first lady, the woman who gave her advice about keeping her children out of the spotlight. And she did so while her husband was too egomaniacal to call Mr Bill.

It's clear he needed Mr Bill's advice for that last speech to the nation and he could certainly use it now - perfectly clear after his press conference arrogance. It disgusts me to think of what Michelle and barry said themselves of Secretary Clinton - in addition to what they allowed their camp to say - but they have had no problem asking her for help. barry is still allowing the black community to believe the Clintons are racists.

How can anyone believe this man is honorable in any fashion?

After ridiculing her sipping tea with ambassadors - he appointed the most intelligent, well-read and well-prepared politician on the planet to carry out "his" foreign policy.

What Cabinet positions would barry have qualified for? Could he have become Secretary of State? Absolutely not. Ambassador to the UN would suit him perfectly - campaigning without governing, which sums up his presidency thus far.

The present President and First Lady could learn from watching the previous President and First Lady interacting with world leaders. They are still the two most high profile Americans outside the US - even with barry. And to the continued amazement of the US press, they are universally well-respected around the globe and it is because they know how to respect the globe. Something barry doesn't seem to think he needs to do. The world begins and ends in his own mind. Secretary Clinton is a powerful force because she possesses the bearing and command of a President and the grace and etiquette of a First Lady.

barry and Michell have neither. And somebody better teach them. Get them an English nanny if you have to.

To POTUS: Do you regret running for president?

Thought this was interesting. barry was at a town hall meeting in Strasbourg, France and he was asked by a woman from Germany, if he ever regretted having run for president. I wonder what she saw in his face that made her ask?

(Laughter, applause.) Michelle definitely asked that question. (Laughter.)

You know, there are -- there have been times, certainly during the campaign, and there have been times over the last several months, where you feel a lot of weight on your shoulders. There's no doubt about it.

During the campaign, the biggest sacrifice, the thing that was most difficult, was that I was away from my family all the time. You know, in addition to missing -- in addition to being jealous about high-speed rail and the nice trains here, I -- I'm also jealous of the fact that campaigns here only last a few months, whereas in the United States we were running for two years.

So I was away from home all the time. And that was very difficult, because not only do I have a wonderful wife, but I have two perfect daughters. (Cheers, applause.) And so, you know, I missed them a lot. (Applause continues.)

But -- but the nice thing is, now that I'm president, it turns out I have this really nice office in my house called the Oval Office, and so -- (laughter) -- it only takes me a few seconds to get -- get upstairs, and I'm home for dinner every night. You also lose privacy and autonomy -- or anonymity. You know, it's very frustrating now -- you know, it used to be when I came to Europe that I could just wander down to a cafe and sit and have some wine and watch people go by, and, you know, go into a little shop, and watch the sun go down. And now I'm in hotel rooms all the time. And I have security around me all the time. And so just, you know, losing that ability to -- to just take a walk, you know, that is something that is frustrating.

How many times has he been to Europe? Prior to his world campaign tour he had spent one night in the UK on the way back from Russia.

But having said all that, I truly believe that there's nothing more noble than public service. Now, that doesn't mean that you have to run for president. (Applause.) But, you know, you might -- you know, you might work for Doctors Without Borders, or you might volunteer for an agency, or you might, you know, be somebody working for the United Nations, or you might be the mayor of Strasbourg.

Right? I mean, they're all -- (cheers, applause) -- you might volunteer in your own community.

But the point is that what I found at a very young age was that if you only think about yourself -- how much money can I make; what can I buy; you know, how nice is my house; what kind of fancy car do I have -- that over the long term, you -- I think you get bored. (Applause.) I think your life -- I think your life becomes -- I think if you're only thinking about yourself, your life becomes diminished and -- and that the way to live a full life is to think about, what can I do for others? How can I be a part of this larger project of making a better world?

Who is he referring to?

Now, that can be something as simple as making -- of -- as the joy of taking care of your family and watching your children grow and -- and succeed.

But I think especially for the young people here, I hope you also consider other ways that you can serve, because the world has so many challenges right now. There are so many opportunities to make a difference. And it would be a tragedy if all of you who are so talented and energetic, if you let that go to waste, if you just stood back and -- and watched the world pass you by.

Better to jump in, get involved. And it does mean that sometimes you'll get criticized, and sometimes you'll fail, and sometimes you'll be disappointed. But you'll have a great adventure, and at the end of your life, hopefully you'll be able to look back and say, "I made a difference."

I can't believe I just witnessed this. I'm not surprised - I'm embarrassed. Again. It's just one more example of the embarrassment already provided by the President and First Lady of the United States on their coming out to the world.

barry was taking questions at the final press conference and this is what he said:

POTUS: I am going to call one foreigner [abrupt stop, camera off his embarrassed face, nervous laughter and lame recovery] Actually I am the foreigner - that's why I smiled. One correspondent not from American and then I'll...

He makes them wait while he picks them over.

POTUS: We're not doing bidding here - c'mon. [laugh] I also want to make sure I'm not showing gender bias here.

I don't know what the gender split was because I tuned in shortly before the Chinese reporter spoke, who stuck it to barry. The camera panned the audience and there were arms gesturing at folks. A woman with blondish-red hair wearing a long-sleeved blouse was pointing at another woman, who he ended up picking.

What was he looking for as he made them jump up and down for attention like first graders? Did he take for granted that if they looked Chinese they would be from China? The "foreigners" were spread out throughout the audience and he didn't politely ask that only the foreign press raise their hands. And he took much too much time making them beg. Please someone - let him know he is not the messiah of the cosmos and that he is coming across rude and arrogant.

The woman he picked appeared to be of Indian descent, which, luckily for him, she was. She asked how the US is going to help India in the fight of terrorism against Pakistan. He initially responded by saying something like he thought her Prime Minister is a fine men. She said she did, too.

He stopped and laughed at her. And then the audience followed his lead and laughed at her. She looked around uncomfortably and then he totally embarrassed her by asking her if she was taking credit for him - the PM. It was painful to watch. And even though she handled it well, she will be roasted throughout her country. Her moment to personally stand tall and proudly represent her country was destroyed by the supposedly charming President of the United States.

And then he went on to not even answer her question - as per usual. He spouted a pre-recorded message about poverty and carbon footprints and coal and then said, ok? instead of thanking her for her question and making a quip to lighten her embarrassment.

There was no chance of an apology - he has yet to ever make one - and he wasn't about to show humility with the adoring "foreigners" of the world in front of him.

Then he picked on "Chip" from America so he could ease his way out and still he couldn't help himself. Chip asked him if the leaders were terrorizing him because of the role of the US economy in causing the global downturn and barry answered by blaming Wall Street. He seemed completely oblivious to the fact that whatever happens in the US, he is responsible for on the world stage. At home, he can get away with blaming it on other things and other people and Bush and whatever else - as he has been doing in his campaign version of "governing" - but not when he represents the entire country, which includes Wall Street and Bernie Madoff.

And he didn't stop there. He went one further, by saying they shouldn't attack him because they have their own problems.

His arrogance knows no bounds - and arrogance is the number one criteria of the "ugly American" to the folks of the world. He can charm the leaders perhaps - but not the people of the world. Especially the "foreigners" in the press, who see through all that false collegiality and actually hear his words and watch his dismissive body language.

And what did they see?

They saw the new President of the United States laugh at an Indian journalist for taking pride in her country and they heard him not apologize to the "foreigners" for taking mostly questions from American press, which he does every day.

They saw right through it. They saw that he was not prepared to answer "foreigners" questions and that he was only interested in standing before them getting his TV time and basking in the adoration of the world.

Those reporters represented their entire country and they shouldn't have been made to beg. It was the G 20 - not the US + G 19. He should have set up the press conference so that each of the 20 countries got to ask a question - if not then - some other time, or at least in writing. I don't know how many questions he took in this particular press conference but I assume this was the only opportunity to take questions from the "foreigners", who are seeing him for the first time. The day previous the British press got their opportunity.

He demonstrated, once again, with his anger at the Chinese journalist, who dared to point out barry's unpreparedness, and his mocking of the Indian journalist and his defensiveness about the US economy's role that he has no idea how to handle folks who aren't lobbing him softballs out of adoration.

It was embarrassing.

And somewhere in there was another dig at Churchill.

He talks a good game when it comes to diplomacy but he doesn't seem to know what it consists of. It includes everything - especially the little things - greetings, gestures, facial expressions, body language and understanding how to communicate to "foreigners" in front of a large group. Which most definitely does not include ridiculing a female reporter from a country that already oppresses woman - nor does it include avoiding "foreigners" questions because he is tired and unprepared. Stop the stumping, stay in the White House and become prepared.

And Michelle needs to do a little more tea sipping. Both of them need to watch how Madame Secretary Clinton is received and how she handles herself. She has the bearing and command of a President and the grace and etiquette of a First Lady.

Between them they have neither. It's what happens when one has such little time on the national stage and minimal foreign travel in an official capacity. And Michelle's had no exposure even to Washington etiquette.

No matter my thoughts about barry personally or about his eligibility to be president - he and Michelle were representing me and the rest of The American People on the world stage for the very first time and it was embarrassing. There was a clear lack of grace on both their parts.

I did not watch much of the coverage, but each time I did, I was embarrassed by his or Michelle's behavior. And please don't write any more of those - you're a racist comments. He is the President. It's time to stop that easy out and make him take responsibility for his actions.

He was representing the United States, which is made up of every race, religion, ethnicity and whatever else in the world. The world doesn't care what color he is because they are every color. They don't care that he has a funny name - because theirs are too. They care about how he handles himself toward their own countrymen. And I don't see the Brits, the Chinese or Indian people being pleased with his attitude.

Even if he was joking - he wasn't - he should have been aware that "jokes" are taken differently in different cultures. That is something a president (and first lady) should know. Why don't they? Someone not understanding the language would have seen the body language of embarrassment and arrogance and made their own conclusions.

barry may be more articulate than Bush and smoother on his feet, but he handled himself just as arrogantly, and it wasn't offset with the quiet grace of First Lady Laura Bush. And no, it isn't because Michelle is black. Face the facts. She is the First Lady. Stop using that lame excuse and make them accountable for their rude behavior.

It was embarrassing to watch. And it is infuriating to hear the press babble on about how fabulous! they did. It only reinforces to the world that their behavior was acceptable.

It wasn't.

And someone at the White House better make that clear and then teach them a little etiquette.

“O” Magazine = Oprah + Michelle Obama

For the first time ever, Oprah Winfrey’s magazine “O” cover has someone on it besides her photoshopped image. She has shows about how unrealistic magazine photos are and how damaging they are to young girls’ psyche and yet each week hers is airbrushed perfection.

This month’s cover, due out March 17th, shows First Lady Michelle Obama and Oprah - both of them standing - dressed in Easter egg colors.

FIRST LADY about the Inauguration: Well, we still had family here, so it was almost like a wedding. A huge, very complicated wedding. The last visitors didn’t leave until Sunday. And then the first Monday was kind of weird. You know: Now we live here, and Barack is getting up and going to work, and it’s just us. This is our home now.

She also told Winfrey that she felt very “privileged” to live in the White House and that she wants her “kids to be treated like children, not little princesses.

Etta James: "[beyonce's] gonna get her ass whooped"

...someone has seen the light and spoken the truth. Ms Etta James, 71, was none too happy that Beyonce sang her trademark song "At Last" during the First Couple's First dance for which he pocketed a cool $2M. James to her audience.

ETTA JAMES: You know, YOUR president, the one with the big ears — he ain't my president — had that woman singing for him at his inauguration. She's going to get her ass whooped. How dare Beyonce sing MY song that I been singing forever. Now I'm going to sing it for y'all.

She added that she "can't stand Beyonce" and that the starlet "has no business up there singing, singing up there on a big old President day, singing my song that I been singing forever."

Can't blame her. barry has a way of not acknowledging folks that made him and in this case Beyonce possible.

Another tidbit. barry's family was supposed to be on the US Weekly magazine but he was bumped by a picture of "fat" Jessica Simpson. His response? "It was hurtful."
