barry still hasn’t admitted the Surge worked

March 31, 2009

This is a good montage of barry’s ever changing position on Iraq - here the Surge is highlighted. Note that barry has never admitted the Surge worked.

speakmymind02

Feb 27th Camp Lejeune

Next month will mark the sixth anniversary of the war in Iraq. By any measure, this has already been a long war. For the men and women of America’s armed forces – and for your families – this war has been one of the most extraordinary chapters of service in the history of our nation. You have endured tour after tour after tour of duty. You have known the dangers of combat and the lonely distance of loved ones. You have fought against tyranny and disorder. You have bled for your best friends and for unknown Iraqis. And you have borne an enormous burden for your fellow citizens, while extending a precious opportunity to the people of Iraq.

Under tough circumstances, the men and women of the United States military have served with honor, and succeeded beyond any expectation.

That is as close as he will get to admitting the Surge worked. If there’s one thing about barry - he will never come out and say I was wrong. Geithner he said he “screwed up” which was the first time he even got close. On O’Reilly - when barry finally got the courage to go on - he was forced to admit that the Surge “succeeded beyond our wildest dreams.” Again “our” not his. His dream was that it not be done.

To understand where we need to go in Iraq, it is important for the American people to understand where we now stand. Thanks in great measure to your service, [not the Surge] the situation in Iraq has improved. Violence has been reduced substantially from the horrific sectarian killing of 2006 and 2007. Al Qaeda in Iraq has been dealt a serious blow by our troops and Iraq’s Security Forces, and through our partnership with Sunni Arabs. The capacity of Iraq’s Security Forces has improved, and Iraq’s leaders have taken steps toward political accommodation. The relative peace and strong participation in January’s provincial elections sent a powerful message to the world about how far Iraqis have come in pursuing their aspirations through a peaceful political process.

….

In short, today there is a renewed cause for hope in Iraq, but that hope rests upon an emerging foundation.

On my first full day in office, [after he was sworn in a second time] I directed my national security team to undertake a comprehensive review of our strategy in Iraq to determine the best way to strengthen that foundation, while strengthening American national security. I have listened to my Secretary of Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and commanders on the ground. We have acted with careful consideration of events on the respect for the security agreements between the United States and Iraq; and with a critical recognition that the long-term solution in Iraq must be political – not military. Because the most important decisions that have to be made about Iraq’s future must now be made by Iraqis.

Here’s his “mission accomplished”

America’s men and women in uniform have fought block by block, province by province, year after year, to give the Iraqis this chance to choose a better future. Now, we must ask the Iraqi people to seize it.

And here is lie about his campaign promise. Listen to the video. He was going to have all combat troops home in 16 months. Well, his initial promise when he announced his running was to have the combat troops home by March 2008 = 10 months before he even had a chance to be inaugurated. And then he “refined” it after that according to the polls.

He broke his fundamental promise - what got him the nomination - which basically meant the presidency. The press didn’t even grill him over it. Hilary Rosen said she had “precessed” it.

As a candidate for President, I made clear my support for a timeline of 16 months [Period. It was unconditional.] to carry out this drawdown, [not drawdown - he said withdrawal - very different words with very different meanings.] while pledging to consult closely with our military commanders upon taking office [nope] to ensure that we preserve the gains we’ve made [nope - thought the Surge was wrong and still hasn't admitted it worked] and protect our troops [never mentioned]. Those consultations are now complete, and I have chosen a timeline that will remove our combat brigades over the next 18 months.

He picked the middle option. Surprise. He had a chance to stick to his promise and he chose not to - proving once and for all his words on Iraq start to finish were a politically expedient fairy tale.

Let me say this as plainly as I can: by August 31, 2010, our combat mission in Iraq will end.

And how many “non combat” troops will remain?

As I have long said, [here comes another barry out] we will retain a transitional force [who carry the same weapons, who have the same obligations, who get the same pay, and who have the same one life to give] to carry out three distinct functions: training, equipping, and advising Iraqi Security Forces as long as they remain non-sectarian [same risk]; conducting targeted counter-terrorism missions [same risk]; and protecting our ongoing civilian and military efforts within Iraq [same risk].

Initially, [can go up or down] this force will likely [can't pin down] be made up of 35-50,000 U.S. troops.

How is “conducting targeted counter-terrorism missions; and protecting our ongoing civilian and military efforts” not combat troops? Tell those 35-50K troops they won’t be involved in combat and see what they think.

Fine print:

Through this period of transition, we will carry out further redeployments.

So how much change is it really going to mean? It’s just like his momemntous signing of the Gitmo shut down.

And here he admits he is basically following President Bush’s plan in Senator McCain’s wordage. Note also the campaign: “As president, I will” - instead it’s: “I intend”.

And under the Status of Forces Agreement with the Iraqi government, I intend to remove all U.S. troops from Iraq by the end of 2011. [No change with Bush's plans] We will complete this transition to Iraqi responsibility, and we will bring our troops home with the honor that they have earned. [Almost verbatim to what Senator McCain campaigned on.]

And had he been president before the Surge? If Bush had listened to him and Biden? Where would those troops be?

And how will the last troops to remain feel knowing that the savages have a deadline in which to provoke and attack? What is going to happen on August 30, 2010?

yo barry: When are you going to start acting presidential?

March 20, 2009

Dear Mr President -

Is that who you see yourself as - the President of the United States - or a candidate without an opponent?

We all know that the only thing you are capable of is stumping and working the media. We all know how few days you worked in the senate and we have already seen how averse you are to staying in your workplace - it is clear you are not even interested in on the job training. The first thing you do when something comes up is head to Hollywood or swing states or Hyde Park.

Do you even realize you have a job?

Do you realize you are expected to actually do something every single day that has nothing to do with adoration? That it really isn’t about you?

Are you aware of how many people, who were once drunk with blindness, are waking up and realizing you have not a clue?

How stupid do you think The American People are?

We know exactly what you are doing: You are trying to outdo every other president’s first 100 days in pushing through your agenda without a lick of that sunlight you promised.

What promise have you kept since you ascended to office?

Name one.

Guantanamo Bay does not matter - you know that - we all know that order meant nothing.

How many people read the fine print loopholes in that?

Iraq?

The issue that got you the presidency?

A complete and utter fairy tale start to finish. and what did you do to President Clinton? What evil words and accusations of racism did you spew, oh Mr Mighty Transcender of Race?

What you did to the Clintons - painting them as racists - will never be forgiven or forgotten by lifelong Democrats - the ones who are starting to sour to your spineless wavering.

Do you realize how many lies you have told all the while using the words “transparent” and “accountable”?

Was the stimulus bill online for five days of sunlight? It was not an emergency bill because you found time to go home, chill out for Valentine’s Day and then sign it four days later to much fanfare in a swing state.

You can’t possible think we take you seriously, can you?

Your “advisors” are playing campaign games with a radio host, who does not hold elected office, and you are doing so because he has the nerve to say something about your teleprompter, your cluelessness and your many gaffes. And the fact that he makes $50M/year and has a huge radio following - all of whom seem to have the audacity to distrust you and your $9.3 trillion dollar plans - really pisses you off, doesn’t it?

You learned nothing going after Lou Dobbs and Fox, did you?

Whenever your campaign - you aren’t even close to having an administration - starts distracting with your nasty campaign tactics, it’s because you have no idea what you’re doing and want to reach out to The American People. All well and good. Just be prepared when they reach out for your head.

Chill SS and racist protectors - it’s figurative. Though why is it black folks forget barry is just as much European as her is African and that he is a descendant of slave owners?

Your first escape from the White House (besides the photo op school children, who may not be there next year without the vouchers), you went to talk to “folks who are hurting in Indiana” and proceeded to complain about Hannity.

Do you even see your selfishness? Your egomania?

Your unconnectedness with real Americans?

You want for nothing. You even have a cool jacket with an Air Force One patch on it. Congratulations. Perhaps you might consider giving it to the kids, who are going to need to “go shopping for winter coats” in March.

Your wife and children want for nothing - except the puppy that took precedence over the economy and took the place of your admission that you knew about the bonuses.

Are you ever going to tell the truth?

Are you even capable of it?

Folks do not want to hear about you - they want to hear what you can do for them. They are waiting for you to make good on your promises of change! and all they see is the same old Washington shove it in a bill, deny it, and come clean–sorta–when you get caught.

You can’t possibly believe we take you seriously, can you?

You are going to cut our lobbyists - except in your administration.

You are going to bring the combats troop home in 16 months!

You won the nomination on that lie and now it’s 19 months with 30-50K “non combat troops”. What, they won’t be equipped with guns? They won’t respond in an attack? Anyone in a country where we are fighting is a potential combat troop. The truth is you are following the agreement Bush made.

You are going to cut down on pork projects - except for the 9000 earmarks.

As Johnny Mac screams: “You cannot be serious!”

You are going to cut down on government spending - after the gazillion trillion budget passes.

Do you realize you are putting the future liquidity of the United States on the line just so you can pass your agenda? Just so you can make you r place in history?

Don’t worry - you made your place in presidential history just by running - and not because you are biracial.

How can you be so greedy?

How can you look in your fellow citizen’s eyes and lie, lie, lie, lie…to them?

Have you no soul?

You saw how angry they were with AIG - even as you were “stunned” - how are they going to react when they find out you are not qualified to be president?

And in your ignorance and egomania - did you really believe you would be able to hide it?

One month, one year, one decade - however long it takes - your daughters are the ones who are going to suffer.

How could you?

How could your wife?

And you two hold yourself up as the paragon of parenthood.

The American People are waiting for you to become a president - whether or not you are qualified - whether or not you are eligible.

They want someone who can do more than read the teleprompter message of the day.

Your speechwriters have a better grasp of the situation than you do.

Why not skip your video email and have your speechwriters send out bullet emails to your digital attention-spanned twitterers to spam and harass those in touch with reality?

I don’t think you’ve quite reached the promised moment when the earth and tide and moon rose up and you singlehandedly saved the world!!!

It seems that righteous wind at your back forces you out of your place of employment and reach of reporters when you get called out on your lies.

The cheering in the crowds has become robotic. They elected you and want to hear more than your stump lines and how the problems were there before you got there.

What did you expect?

Why did you want to become president?

To feed your own ego?

Did you not realize that these problems awaited you and that you were responsible to fix them?

Did you not realize that you would have to act without waiting for the polls to influence your decision?

That you wouldn’t be able to rely on “I agree with Senator Clinton” or “John’s right”?

Real easy to criticize what President Bush et al did wrong but not so easy to fix, eh? And we can already see how you held up under one not even tough question from Ed Henry.

There cannot be a single American, who deep down in their heart, believes you are capable of making a decision of global import in 30 seconds.

And that is frightening - terrifying - and right it should be.

Isn’t there a presidential manual somewhere that they could upload onto the teleprompter or download into your ipod?

It’s time to stop the whining and become the president.

Learn how to govern - get some advice from your pal Blago if you have to.

Stay in Washington where the press can hammer you.

Truly be accountable and transparent.

Truly implement that Change!

Whatever it is you have settled on…this polling cycle.

Everything you have done this far had been about you.

Do you think people come to hear you whine about FOX - again?

Do you think they wanted to hear you make light of the economy and AIG and unemployment rates by joking that you can do it all and go on Leno?

Because you can’t.

You can’t even keep track of your own cabinet.

Just how were you planning on cleaning up Washington? By leaving it every two weeks?

How many days have you actually spent in the Oval Office? Inside the White House?

Has a day passed without you getting your press fix?

If you want to know what presidential bearing looks like - watch some footage of your unqualified tea-sipper of a Secretary of State, who has visited more than 43% of the countries on Earth (including two more continents more than you), handle her state visits. Watch how the heads of state Madame Secretary deals with treat her respectfully as an equal and not with glazed eyes, an open-mouthed gaga and a pat on the back.

She is the only one in your administration who has been out working and accomplishing things and that fact is not lost on the world stage - nor on her ardent supporters - the ones who have already had enough of your waffling.

They are angry - rightfully so - that you have yet to talk about the oppressed and mutilated women and children in the Arab world. If that is not included in your pandering arab world I feel you because I lived in arab countries speech, it will not ever be forgiven. It is reprehensible that you said nothing in your Inauguration speech nor you first presidential interview to arab TV.

Three strikes and your out, barry.

As an American citizen - you embarrass me.

No, it has nothing to do with the fact that you lied when you said you were “stunned” about the bonuses.

No, it has nothing to do with the fact you have not - and steadfastly refuse - to prove your constitutional eligibility to hold the office and continue to lie about transparency! and accountability!

Nor does it have anything to do with the way you disrespect my fellow Americans and hide behind statements made by your minions.

It has to do with how you are allowing the military - folks who have voluntarily chosen to risk their lives for your children - to be divided on your constitutional eligibility to be Commander in Chief.

How can you do that to our nation’s bravest citizens?

How can you send them into battle - some to certain death - without easing their minds?

There is no greater evil for a commander in chief.

You ask them to give up their lives - their wholeness - their futures and you can’t even assure them that following your orders is in keeping with their oath to defend The Constitution.

How can you look them in the eye? Even be in their presence?

And you can go on your adoration tour, but you can’t find the time to make a public statement about your unbelievably disgusting comment mocking God’s special souls and their loving families?

That alone says who you really are - a coward who thinks he can do no wrong.

And it reflects on who the Kennedys have become - a silent mass, without integrity, kowtowing to a man they know nothing about. They gambled their legacy by backing you and Tim Shriver is already disgusted - but spineless. He went on TV to apologize for you and ask for a “teaching moment”. How does a teaching moment come about when the person who instigated doesn’t even apologize to prove he learned something?

Where is this Era of Responsibility you yak about?

Election Year in Review: barry voters

January 3, 2009

Here's an eye-opening video of how little barry voters knew and strangely how much they knew of his opponents. This would have been a much better video if it was done during the primaries. Folks would come out of the yes-we-can rallies eyes all a'glaze and not be able to recite anything barry said or state his position on anything other than "he voted against the war". Which of course is a fairy tale that will go down as the most blatant fraud perpetrated on The American People (o-baaa-ma sheeples) in presidential election history. The ones who could answer most often said return of the middle class or universal healthcare, which were Sen Clinton's stands. Anyway take the ten minutes to watch. See if you find it funny as in Leno's Jaywalking. Then take it a step further and realize that folks like these spent the last two years making personal attacks on barry's opponents - including the tried and true cries of racism - instead of learning something about barry.

That was not the Rod Blagojevich I knew...

"This is not the Blago I knew" claims poker-faced Obama

Courtesy of obamawtf

That is not the Blagojevich I knew.

That was not the Jeremiah Wright I knew...

That was not the Bill Ayers I knew...

That was not the Father Pfleger I knew...

That was not the Tony Rezko I knew...

He's known Wright, Rezko and Pfleger for over 20 years.

He has known Bill Ayers for at least ten years.

He worked with Gov Blagojevich in a professional manner ans Rezko served as primary fundraiser to both.

So where is this superior judgment? One little politically expedient speech in 2002 outweighs the lack of judgment in his decades-long personal and professional acquaintances?

What is it going to take?

NEWSWEEK still thinks they are unbiased

November 15, 2008 (long post)

A very strange video from NEWSWEEK - a place I haven't visited since September. The pro-barry propaganda never disappointed - even in the face of obvious lies. They crossed a line and realized they had to keep going because if he failed they would look even more ridiculous. But the bots were so vicious talking about Gov Palin and her family and Senator McCain and his history.

I'm always amazed at the venom of barry supporters. Why do they have to attack so vehemently? Because they have nothing to defend.

How blind are these folks who believe barry ran a "clean" campaign? The amount of pure ignorance - as in not knowing and not caring to - is staggering. Do these folks really believe he is the messiah and can do no wrong? Or do they now know he isn't and are making themselves believe because the alternative is embarrassment and despair?

This is the answer I am still seeking. Our purpose has been met. Hence the crossover to more opinion than facts. No one cares.

Here is the video link - well worth the 3 minutes. It's by a journalist who plumbed sources but was not allowed to say or write anything until after the election. NEWSWEEK advertises this as proof of unbiased reporting when all it does is prove they selectively filtered--censored--the reporting. Bias under the name of silence.

We are to believe that if these journalists had an important lead to help barry they were just supposed to sit on it? Or not pass along damning information about Senator Clinton or John McCain? Never happen. They were muzzled. Pravda 2.0
Daren Briscoe: "How difficult it can be sometimes because of all the rules we are operating under - where all of our reporting was embargoed. You can't talk about the reporting that you're doing - the things you are learning."
'Embargo' - telling word choice. Embargoing = deliberate silencing = censoring = propaganda. Is there a single young reporter who can still tell the "truth"? How long has this been going on? Is this what reporting is now? Be the first to blog on it before knowing it's veracity. Like Kos' ArcXIX and the biologically impossibility of the daughter giving birth.

The reporter in the video is Nick Summers, who had initially followed "Hillary". Do they call Obama barry? He starts out by saying: "I think I was assigned to "Hillary" because no one else wanted to cover her." Whatever follows will be inherently disrespectful because he didn't/doesn't have the respect to refer to Sen Clinton by her title.

And people like Rachel Maddow don't find that sexist. Does she truly believe she got her job on her own merit? That it wasn't because they needed a female olbermann and she fit the bill on more than one level? Her show is no different than his. She even mimicked his mocking voice when she talked about the presidential fete. She wants the White House to serve cheeseburgers to foreign heads of states here for a crisis summit?

Do these folks even hear themselves anymore? People watch because she provides entertainment - just not the entertainment she thinks she is providing. The little gotcha moments aren't even relevant most of the time - like the lipstick comparisons.
SUMMERS: "It was kind of jarring going from covering Hillary to helping cover Obama. It was like going from PC to Mac - everything just works. I was talking to one reporter and just said, 'it's so much easier here.' And she said, 'yeah, it's really weird, when you ask for the schedule, they just give it to you.
Of course they do. He could not live without his obamerized flock. It was vital to his campaign. It's all he wanted. People coming to adore him with the press covering every minute. I wonder how Lee Cowen is doing? He needs mancrush detox.

Summers then goes on to mention an "absurd moment" when they were on the bus in South Carolina going from A to B and they wouldn't know where B was. Guess he wasn't on the plane that flew the barry reporters to Chicago. Imagine if Sen Clinton or Sen McCain had done that? And I'm sure axelrod is still laughing about it.
(He then takes a deep breath, squints, shakes his head, moves his neck in his collar - like no thanks.) "But over time the Obama campaign was a little too choking. I don't know. I think a little too mannered and ordered. Very few people shouting questions at obama. I don't know - I preferred 'the Hillary chase'. Everyone misses it. It was great."
Yeah, because they had some autonomy and weren't part of the obamerized brigade that did nothing but parrot the party line. it's nice to see some degree of honesty coming from NEWSWEEK. Can see why he was muzzled. With "Hillary" they were allowed to attack. And they did - early and often - to NEWSWEEK's delight. With barry they didn't even get to question - let alone attack. Probably because they were afraid they'd be labeled racists. Too.

Beginning of the end...of infatuation?

November 12, 2008
Hardball

Matthews of all people comments on barry's ineptness. barry is a changed man since his campaign adoration came to an end. He realized the extent of the mess he has on his hands and that he can't dump it on someone else or wait for his opponent to act. What's Joe the Biden being doing? The entire country and world would be better off if barry picked Senator Clinton (and she agreed) to be VP. Talk about Palin being an August candidate - same thing for Biden.

Fineman, curiously, isn't dyeing his hair anymore. Was he doing it to look good for barry? Howie would look much more palatable if he for once told the truth and somehow resuscitated the journalistic integrity that he must have once had. Is this how reporting is done? Without respect or honor? Are all these folks actual journalists like Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather? Like schooled in ethics and the absolute need to be unbiased? Or are they just blogger opinionators with a job?

Are the CNN and MSNBC girls schooled in anything but looking good and spewing probarry propaganda?

Well-respected journalist Andrea Mitchell looked anything but as she chatted up the garbagemen on her paparazzi stakeout in front of Sen Clinton's home.

Mo Dowd attacks like the rest of the sexists so they won't attack her (even as they laugh behind her back) and then uses a thesaurus and/or literary reference to prove her intellect.

Peg Noonan talks like she's giving a speech and pines over Reagan as she lusts after barry. The two of them running to the rescue on Morning Joe after Wright proved he is every bit of what he appeared in those "out of context sound bites".

Doesn't anyone see how mad this is?

MATTHEWS: We've got sleepy hollow as a country right now and the headless horseman is running the show. I'm worried. I don't think we have a president clearly on deck COMING or leaving.

Didn't take him long.

Spike in gun sales

Imposter - thanks for the post and transcription. Check out the CNN podcast discussion on spike in gun sales. Minister Farrakhan thinks it out of fear of a black man as president and potential violence. It's those bitter gun owners buying them up before barry outlaws them. What is his policy lately?

Minister Farrakhan sermon about Obama

11-9-08
Mosque Maryam in Chicago
Minister Louis Farrakhan: "America's New Beginning: President-Elect Barack Obama"
From the video (start at 5:00) Transcribed 46:00/90:00

Farrakhan was retired before BO started to run for president because of cancer. He sounded tired. This is the most depressing 'congratulatory speech' I ever heard. The congregants respected him as he spoke. I don't know what the women in white are. Like if theyre "nuns". He extols the greatness of BO in messianic terms and then talks about the economy and natural disasters and how bleak the whole world is and that BO has an impossible task. So bleak people will be fighting in the streets for bread. How is this uplifting?

I found this statement the most enlightening part. It was written all over BO's face in Grant Park. He should have gotten over his prIde and put SHRC as VP. Who knows she couldve refused in their little meeting.

FARRAKHAN: Oprah Winfrey said the other night it looks like that he may be saying in words to himself: 'What have I have gotten myself into?'

Farrakhan said he stayed quiet because he didn't want BO to lose and because Pflegler and Wright were being attacked. I don't understand why a vote for McCain was a vote against BO. Have guns sales increased? Fights in schools? People killed? People who think its called the White House because only white people can live there...code words? Where does this come from? Why are blacks experts in what whites are doing? I don't know any whites like he describes. And the tens of millions who voted for BO? I wonder if he mentions the poor black voter registration and turnout.

I only got to 45 minutes. I'm sure the ending is better. The transcript I posted under 10-06 so it wouldn’t take up space here. Go over it and select out what you want. I highlighted some. There are also some videos of him in the drafts that you might want to post. Now you've got Ayers, Wright, Pflegler and Farrakhan. Reverend Jackson should get to say whatever he wants. Maybe he'll be senator or maybe his son if hes not in the cabinet. Later.

When are you going to demand President-elect Obama's full medical records?

Prank call engineered by?

November 8, 2008

Can they do anything else to discredit Gov Palin? Now a prank call from a Canadian radiao station. Similar to the "Iron My Shirt" pigs. The main question is the person who ok'd the call. If Sarkozy called Biden would he recognize the voice? There must be a different sound to Canadian French.

Video courtesy of caulkusapples
Best line: "Kill two birds with one stone."

Steve Biegun, former Bush aid and foreign policy tutor to Palin, was responsible for accepting the call but who put the DJ's up to it? From Politico's Jonathan Martin:
BIEGUN: "I approved the call and was in abject horror of what I had done. But she said, 'Look, it's not about whose fault this is, don't beat yourself up, let's just move on.'"

[On Sarah bashing] "It's depressing. We worked our asses off. It was a tough campaign. Then we have this? I think she was fantastic. She just brought a special energy to our ticket. Look, I was there at those rallies. I'm appalled by it because Sarah Palin was one of nicest people I have ever had the chance to work with. I've worked in Washington for 20 years, on the Hill, in the White House and in the private sector, and she ranks at the highest levels of decency, kindness and graciousness of anybody I've ever worked with.

Another former campaign aide: "You know what she did for us. She certainly solidified a hell of a lot of [previously unenthused Republicans]."

NICOLLE WALLACE (McCain Sr Advisor) said Friday on NBC that the governor was "perhaps the most un-diva politician I've seen. [Palin] "drew huge crowds and excited and animated the Republican faithful."

TRACEY SCHMITT (Palin spokeswoman): "Gov. Palin was a breath of fresh air, particularly for those of us who've been living in the Washington bubble. Because she is a working mom, she brought a real sense of perspective to the campaign trail, which was important. She was tireless on the stump and would have shaken every hand on the rope line if there were time. It was evident that this work ethic and enthusiasm was fueled by her sincere commitment to helping Sen. McCain get elected.

TAYLOR GRIFFIN (McCain economic advisor): One of the great developments of this campaign is the addition of Sarah Palin as a powerful and energetic new voice in American public life. She's smart, insightful, and has an uncanny ability to ask the right questions.”

JOSH GREEN (helped out in Alaska) “I thought she was an exceptional political person, but more than that an exceptional person. She’s in line with conservative principles and is an everyday Republican — what we’re going to have to find more if we’re going to get back to being a majority party.”
Who knows what the real story is - it no longer matters. She was destroyed just like barry's other female opponent while the Man of Integrity and Grand Uniter stood by and let it happen. Who believes that if barry said enough his minions in the media wouldn't have stopped? Say what you will about barry's politics - the fact that he doesn't mention or thank his mother and the fact that he allowed his female opponents to be trashed so he can win reveals a man with no character. Period.

Quote of the day: "Obama didn't make a mistake"

November 4, 2008
CNN Election wrap up

Ed Rollins: "Obama did not make a single major mistake from start to finish."
BORGER: "His transition started in May."

Says it all.

One of the six reasons Obama won was Senator Clinton. And yet she and her husband leave the race thoroughly trashed as dirty, ruthless little racists. What would barry be called if he didn't have the media in the bag? And where is his public thanks?
CNN
Iowa
Ted Kennedy
Race [at least somebody is finally honest]
Fundraising [Awaiting figure of foreign donations]
Debates [and who made him this way?]

Working with Clinton: The long and bitter primary battle turned many Clinton supporters off Obama. A CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll a month after Obama sealed the nomination found that nearly 50 percent of Clinton's supporters did not plan to vote for Obama in November. McCain tried to exploit the Democrats' divisions and attract Clinton supporters to his side, but the former rivals came together to stop that. Obama and Clinton worked behind the scenes to create a show of public unity, epitomized by Clinton dramatically marching onto the convention floor in Denver to call for the party to nominate Obama by acclamation.
"Clinton" (can't even call her Senator or even Hillary - just Clinton - hence barry) got her supporters 85-15 to back barry. She more than did her job.
"Critically, Obama made no gaffes, rounding out a campaign that was remarkably free of them."
I find this remarkable. Guess I shouldn't by now. Who is ever going to truly look at him critically? And how soon? How can they possibly say this with Biden on the ticket?

barry "ran the best campaign ever"

November 3, 2008

barry has not run the campaign of the century the proobama media is waxing poetically about.

1 - Steady. Lost after winning 11-in-a-row and needed to be coronated. He couldn't WIN it. The best campaign ever does not need to be coronated.

2 - No mistakes. This is the funniest one. No mistakes got noticed by the proobama media. Or if it was it was deliberately not discussed.

3 - Stayed on message. And changed his stance on about everything.

4 - Handled the economy. By sitting back, doing nothing and characterizing McCain as an erratic, lurching, hotheaded bathrobe and slipper wearing old man. barry made the worst ad ever in this campaign. McCain's rage a nation security issue. It was pure evil. Got no press.

5 - Best ground game. Basic Daley Machine and $800 million dollars buys a lot of airtime. A 30-minute prime time infomercial holding up the World Series?

6 - Record turnout. 8 years of the worst president in history, two wars and a tanked economy is responsible for the turnout...and then there's ACORN.

7 - Honorable campaign. Don't need anymore than to see that all three of barry's opponents plus President Clinton leave the race racists. Transcender of Race? Man of Integrity?

8 - He trounced Senator Clinton. She picked up a net 400K in the closing primaries. She had more voters actually pull the lever for her. They were separated by .1% of the vote. He outspent Sen Clinton at times 5:1. in PA and she won by 10 points. She had wins by 40 points. She was behind by ~140 delegates (Kennedy 700?) who aren't bound to their pledge.

9 - Primary was illegitimate because of the behind closed doors negotiations on Michigan. He got delegates from a state where his name was not on the ballot. Neither could win without the superdelegates. How is this democratic? A group of citizens cast votes that were more powerful than ever the delegates. And a large group of democratic voters in Michigan had their votes highjacked forever illegitimizing the primary. The Michiganders had no role in having the primary moved up and if every other citizen had their vote counted as cast - theirs should have been respected also. And what barry did about getting those delegates showed The American People just how far barry will got to win. He did not need those 4 delegates and he did not need the votes. His win was guaranteed and everyone on this planet knew that. It was evil. He and the DNC didn't just set out to win - they set out to destroy the Clintons - barry in the lead.

10 - His delegate lead was directly from the caucuses. He won caucuses of states where there were a total of 5-8k voters and they had as much weight as some larger states. Only 4/13 were blue states.

11 - Without Senator Clinton pushing him to the very last Primary - he would not have had a chance with voters. If he had gone out in April as they were all screaming at her to do - the specter of wright would have remained that he would not have been able to overcome. Also the vetting by the Republicans would have started earlier and the pro-obama media would not have been able to squelch all of it. It came to ate to be useful and it was the same things the Clinton campaign had raised before.

12 Proobama media bias caused him to be "teflon barry". They chose what to cover. For example, during the worst wright flareup, Clinton got more negative coverage. Palin has had more scrutiny when biden has been laughed at.

This race was remarkably close and yet barry ran the best campaign ever? He ran a campaign that got away with whatever he wanted. Fact. I only hope I live long enough to see it proven irrefutably. And I hope I live long enough to see what happens with this inevitable crisis: Georgia and Russia.

Sen Clinton earned her way onto the ticket. Remember the change of no old Washington? Out with the old and in with the new? And then - as usual - his actions don't come close to his words and he picks the third longest running senator out of political expedience. Oh well this is tiring. It's the same thing he has done his entire political career and he is the Herald of New Politics. No thanks.

The truth is clear in this election for the nonobamerized. Folks decide to go with the unproven and ever waffling never have made a decision vs and old man using the "POW card" and a ditzball from the wilderness with an IQ of Caribou Barbie and of course THAT woman who far surpasses barry as a politician. Clinton had complete command of the issues without the need 2500 advisors. Very sad. How is barry running his campaign? Viciously and without honor.

But what other choice was there? If McCain had Mitt Romney (even his name is presidential) on the ticket it would be a whole different story
