The Obama File is CLOSED

July 29, 2009

I wondered why we were getting such an inordinate amount of hits from the Library of Congress on a post from March about the Obama File so I went there and it’s “closed”.

He says it’s because of lack of funding — not because he was shut down by anyone. I know some folks who gave up after Dr Fukino released her second statement declaring barry a “natural born citizen” – like she’s suddenly a Constitutional lawyer – but wow he was totally into it from the start. And he sounds totally dejected. Here is his statement. I’m posting it in its entirety in case his site completely goes off line or expires or whatever so folks can be enlightened. It really is a shame after all the ENORMOUS work he did – even though I wanted to I never got the chance to read much.

One person did all that. I thought there were several people. He’s got every right to be angry. It’s hard enough to keep this going as one person and we’re just a little site with no one relying on us as a source. I have to admit we didn’t go there much after Donofrio and Wrotnowski but we did link several times. Mainly, it was a huge morale boost that at least one site covered barry from all angles.

It’s sad. barryfans must be giving each other high fives and that makes it all the worse. I am so sorry. And I also admit I don’t know anything about running a blog for money or as a profession or whatever. And, whereas it’s the first thing you see on Berg, Taitz and Martin’s site, I don’t recall seeing it there. I don’t recall seeing it on Donofrio’s site. I don’t get the bandwith thing and I didn’t realize it was customary to donate to folks either. But I guess if you use the same site for links on your own site then it makes sense. We mainly use big sites like CNN and aren’t confined to right or left ones.

Did he mention it before or is this the first time? Guess I’ll never know. I wasn’t aware you could close a site. So whatever links there can’t be accessed anymore? I’ll have to find a link somewhere and check.

Do most people know to donate? We’ve only been doing this since August and we’re not that internet savvy and never blogged or really read any – if none of us knew there has to be alot more. I hope he reconsiders allowing folks to at least make a payment even if he stays closed. There has to be a lot of folks who weren’t aware either. Wow. It’s sad. That has to be a bigger victory than that worthless resolution and Dr Fukino’s still incomplete statement. It’s got to be their biggest victory on the internet.

This is wrong at the most fundamental level possible. Someone hell bent on fighting censorship, propaganda and media bias because of his conscience — and doing such a thorough job — should not have to shut down. Nobody from the right helped him out? They had to go there everyday looking for ammo against barry. This is wrong.

Well none of this is going to change things and there’s no reason why he would come here anyway but I’d like to apologize for all of us here being so ignorant and we would be more than willing to contribute to the cause. Thank you very much from all of us here for the information you provided and more importantly for the morale boost. You totally rocked and I hope you come back just to accept retroactive funding.

I just read his “read me” page and he goes by BECKWITH and is a retired veteran and that just makes things worse. He has a sitemeter counter and has had 1.6 MILLION visitors and 3.6 MILLION page reads with 10 THOUSAND pages read today. And there quite a few referrals from the same website. A big well known website. Imagine if folks just gave him a penny a page. Thank you, Mr Beckwith. Please reconsider accepting funds from folks like us who had no idea. What you did matters. A great deal. Thank you.

Lack of support

You all deserve an explanation. No, Obama, nor the Obots shut me down. You guys did.

I didn’t get into this for the money. As I say on my Read Me page, “My agenda is simple and clear. I am opposed to a socialist sitting in the Oval Office — especially one that employs teams of lawyers and the legal system to hide his questionable background from the American People.”

But, I’ve had a PayPal “Contribute” button on my site for over a year. Every day, I get 200 to 300 emails. 50 Of them from folks that tell me I’m a patriot, or they’re praying for me, or the site is invaluable, blah, blah, blah. None of those emailers ever clicked the PayPal button.

I’ve been reading those emails for months, and instead of making me feel good, they disappointed me. I spend 8 to 10 hours a day at this — 7 days a week, and with the exception of a local guy who sent me two $100 hits a year ago, I have received from my loyal readership $40 in contributions in the last 16 months — while my bandwidth steadily increased.

Right now, my email box is full of emails telling me how valuable the site is, and please don’t take it down — oh yeah, and I’m a patriot. Not one of those emailers has ever sent me 5 bucks. I’m a strong believer in non-verbal communication. Flattery doesn’t pay the bills.

This isn’t about money. I do not want any contributions at this point. If you send me any money, I will just send it back — and I’ll pay the PayPal fee — costing me more money.

I realize I sound bitchy, but I’m discouraged — yeah, and angry. You want me to fight the fight, but you don’t want to give me any bullets.

I’m done. I’m going to the beach.

Lt Col Victor Fehrenbach facing discharge after 18 years

July 1, 2009

Lt Choi posts/interviews

Just because of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.

I was aware of 1Lt Dan Choi [follow link above]but I was not aware of USAF combat pilot Lt Col Fehrenbach. Here’s some background info from Congress’ letter (77 Reps) to barry asking him to suspend investigations and discharges in regards to DADT:

Lieutenant Colonel Fehrenbach, Assistant Director of Operations for the 366th Operations Support Squadron at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho, has honorably served his country for 18 years as an F-15E pilot. He has received nine air medals, including a Medal for Heroism during the 2003 invasion of Iraq, and was hand-picked to protect the airspace over Washington, D.C. after the Pentagon was attacked on September 11, 2001. Lieutenant Colonel Fehrenbach, who has flown combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan against the Taliban and al Qaeda, continues to serve while the recommendation for his honorable discharge moves forward to a review board, and eventually to the Secretary of the Air Force. Just two years away from his 20-year retirement, he stands to lose $46,000 a year in retirement and medical benefits for the rest of his life if discharged.

His entire life’s work this far.

  • 88 Combat missions
  • 2,188 Total flying hours
  • 1,487 Fighter hours
  • 400 Combat hours

18 years spent defending our country thrown away because of something that has nothing to do with the performance of his duty.

It is unthinkable that the Pentagon would allow this to continue.

It is unconscionable that the Commander in Chief would allow such blatant discrimination.

And there are no words to describe the President of the United States’ cowardice in pretending he can’t do anything.

He can.

He can suspend discharges immediately with an executive order.

He can lobby Congress like he has already done.

He can, with one swipe of the pen, prevent a man–who was awarded a medal for his heroism–from losing a job that only a select few are capable of and which benefits every American.

Here is Lt Col Fehrenbach discussing his case with Rachel Maddow. He was told that his presence was inconsistent with good order, discipline and morale when no one in his squadron or anyone else he works with even knew about the case and will only be learning about it because of this interview.

They should be honest and say – you are an excellent pilot who has performed his duty with distinction but we have no choice in the matter. They shouldn’t say such crap to a man of this caliber who has served 18 years.

NewsPoliticsNews

Born on an Air Force base – his family is Air Force – he’s been Air Force for 18 years. When he found out that allegations has been made in May 2008 he was “absolutely devastated“ & felt it was “end of his life as he knew it“.

When he was served papers in September 2008, he said he initially “just wanted it to go away” and to have “a quick, quiet, fair, honorable discharge”.

Then he thought he could use his unique perspective to speak out and help others because he had faith barry was going to do what he promised and he decided to fight it.

MADDOW: Did you think that President Obama if he were to be elected was going to end the policy?

FEHRENBACH: I did. I had tremendous hope around September and that’s actually when I reversed my position and decided to fight. Because I did have hope that President Obama would follow through on his commitment to change the policy and initiate a policy of nondiscrimination.

….I would hope that the president moves fast and fulfills his promise to us and proposes a policy of nondiscrimination.

I did…I had…I did have…would…I would hope. Not good.

I hope for your sake, Lt Col, that for once barry does something out of “character”.

As is, from his own words and body language and his minions’ comments, he has no intention of doing anything – either personally or as a lobbyist on your behalf.

Lt Col Fehrenbach told Herr Olbermann on Countdown that barry looked him in the eye and said he would get it done.

And for the first time, Olbermann said something truthful regarding barry. That as concerns DADT:

“The President is goddamned wrong!”.

Officially official: 13 y/o Alfie is not the father

May 18, 2009

DNA results made public by the London’s High Court prove Alfie Patten is not the father of Chantelle Steadman’s baby daughter. We had written as much back in March, but the source article mysteriously disappeared. The DNA-proven father, Tyler Barker, was 14 at the time Steadman conceived.

Here’s the sad truth from The Sun’s ANTONELLA LAZZERI [emphasis added]

Tyler, who is now 15 and lives on the same estate as Chantelle, claimed he slept with her thinking she would take the morning-after pill. He said: “I thought she’d take care of it.”

Speaking before the DNA test, he admitted: “I slept with Chantelle about nine months ago and I’m really worried I could be the father. I hope it’s not me.

“All my mates have been teasing me about it — but this isn’t funny, it’s serious. Having sex with her was the worst mistake I’ve ever made in my life. I wish I’d never met her.

“To be honest I didn’t really fancy her. Now I’m terrified I could be the daddy.”

Speaking in February, Tyler’s dad Chris Ireland said: “I’d no idea Tyler was at Chantelle’s house because he was meant to be with a mate. But when it came out that she was pregnant he came to see me and confessed that he had slept with her. We were very worried. I even had a proper chat with him about his responsibilities and about what he’d have to do if he was the dad.”

Just like Alfie’s dad, who has 9 or so children, talked to Alfie after the baby was born. Now listen to what the grandfather says. He admits he didn’t know where his son was and that he had never talked to his son about the responsibilities of having a child and in the next breath blames the mother of the child, also 15, for taking advantage of his son while he was drunk. How is that teaching his son responsibility? The son who said he thought “she’d take care of it” and that he “wished he’d never met her” as if it is all her fault? And where’s the “proper chat” about drinking at age 14? And the grandfather taking responsibility for not knowing his son was sleeping at her house and getting drunk (if that’s even true )? The chat about respecting the mother of your child?

Chris, 44, said Chantelle seduced his son while he was drunk — and told how Tyler WEPT when he realised he could have fathered the tot.

He said: “He’s devastated and has broken down in tears at the thought.

“Far from bragging about it, he thinks his life’s been ruined by this.“

What about the baby’s?

And the phrasing that his son’s “life’s been ruined by this” shows granddad hasn’t acknowledged his own role. Nothing ruined it for his son. His son “ruined” his own life through his own actions that perhaps might have been preventable had granddad had a proper chat or two a few years earlier. The lack of “proper chats” goes at least as far back as the great grandfather whose probably in his 60’s.

And who is chatting with Alfie?

Who’s going to make sure he doesn’t get his next girlfriend pregnant just to prove to the world that he’s a “man”?

Background:
12 y/o boy + 15 y/o girl = 7lb 3oz baby (video + pix)
What’s it’s all about Alfie?
Alfie’s mum speaks up
Alfie’s dad remind you of anyone?
What punishment should Alfie & Chantelle’s parents face?
The law has finally stepped in with Alfie
Chantelle and 4 day old Maisie (video + pix)
DNA test rules out 13 y/o as impregnator?

Octuplets: Nadya offered porn star nannies

Updated list of octuplet posts (3-16)

I truly do not want to follow this delusional woman but my conscience won’t allow me to stop. All I have to do is think of the oldest girl whose childhood was stolen by that women’s selfish madness and by her grandparents looking the other way. So now it’s back to pornography.

The same pornography company that initially offered her $1M and a year’s worth of free healthcare for her and her 14 children in return for “acting” in an X-rated film - no nudity required - has sweetened the pot. They are now offering her porn star nannies + “a custom bus big enough for [her] and the kids” and are talking about a reality show.

When they first offered her the deal she gave them a counter offer - she admitted so in one of her interviews. I haven’t posted that post yet. Just the fact that this company, which shall remain nameless, is still making offers proves she is still considering it.

Why else would they keep at it if she had made it clear she wants nothing to do with them?

Mark my words: unless those children are taken from her she will sign a deal for a reality show.

How else is she going to pay for everything? Nannies don’t come cheap and she will need double the amount when the other preemies come home.

From Business Wire: Man making the offer in a letter to that woman:

We are extending an alternative offer. We are already in talks to create a reality series with you that would also include the Vivid Girls (our famous contract actresses) working as nannies in your home. Our girls love babies and are very nurturing. They are very excited about the prospect of meeting you and the babies and even offering you tips on how to improve your love life.

We believe that this can be a rewarding learning experience for you and we hope you will give serious consideration to this new offer.

Not worthy of comment.

Dear LA Department of Children and Family Services: re Nadya Suleman

March 4, 2009

Would you please do me and the rest of my fellow citizens on this site a favor?

We have one specific request -- above and beyond your never sending those octuplets home with Nadya Suleman and instead finding 8 couples to adopt them.

You are aware that the other six children said they did not want them?

The oldest girl, 6, said it would not be fun to have all those siblings - that there would be a lot of crying and that her mom "is gonna be stressed out all the time".

That means she has already seen her mother stressed out and that she knows what sets off her mother.

A child so young should not have to have such concerns.

A child so young not have to be worried about crying infants setting off her mother.

A child so young should be just that - a child - and that will never happen if those octuplets are allowed to go home.

Doesn't this little girl matter?

Her life?

Her sanity?

And what of her mother's?

It needs to be put to the test and here's an easy way to do it.

While she is there at the hospital instruct her to sit and wait, alone, in a room with the door closed. Find a room (preferably one she has never been in) with no windows.

Do not permit her any distractions: purse, cellphone, mirror, books, magazines, TV, radio, ipod, food, gum, water, sink, toilet, Kleenex, etc.

She is to sit there with nothing but her own mind.

Option: Spice the room up spoilt milk and/or body fluids. Nothing overt - just an unmistakable hint of something that preferably she will not be able to locate.

Tell her you are not sure when you'll be in to talk to her, but assure it will be soon and that it is very important she stay in the room, so she will be ready.

Do not stipulate for what or answer any of her questions.

Exit.

But before you do, make absolutely certain that she understands she cannot, under any circumstances, leave the room or even open the door until someone comes to get her.

I think you'll need a sentry - she's not exactly proven herself trustworthy.

Then make her wait.

How long is up to you. The best tactic would be to show up in five minutes and when just about to sit down put a look of distress on your face and run out of the room.

Once again, instruct her that it is very important she be ready when you get back.

Stress the absolute importance of it - convey it in your voice, eyes and body. After enough visits she might just learn to recognize it.

Optimally, you would be able to repeat this with many different people, each one a little more convincing than the last.

Placing her close enough to hear an alarm (that is not being triggered by a sick neonate) would be optimal.

Observe if at any time she wonders if it is her infants causing you to leave the room.

If she inquires, assure her it is not.

Take note of what, if anything, she asks and how she asks it - the tone of her voice, her affect, etc. Watch her body language. Listen for concrete reasoning and if she is at all grounded in maternal reality.

Videotape would be ideal, especially for future court proceedings.

Most importantly, she cannot be allowed to escape her physical reality.

If she opens the door, refuses to remain inside, locks the door or leaves the room - for any reason - she fails.

Period.

You must convey this, though not in absolute terms.

Continue this for as long as you are able.

Watch her reactions to her own restriction of will when nothing is riding on it.

Document on paper everything she says. If you have a body language person, all the better. Hers is as transparent as a five-year-old with an imaginary friend.

Make sure to note what she does not inquire about - what never crosses her mind.

Do not give her any information and do not answer her questions.

Keep the look of alarm on your face. If she asks about it, pretend you don't know what she means.

The key is to keep her off guard by varying the intervals and using different people - some mumbling, some saying nothing, some making eye contact, some sitting , some standing. Make sure that at least eight separate people go in there - preferably eight people she has never before seen.

The more you keep her wondering - the better.

A change of shift would be optimal.

Just prior to the last visit, give her a not-so-sweet smelling pillow and blanket - maybe with some stuck-on food or melted crayons - and tell her to close her eyes and rest for five minutes. Assure all is well and that finally you will be able to come and take care of her needs: water, food, lip gloss, whatever.

Wait however long you are able and then storm into the room, turn on the lights and make noise. Occupy her space, but do not make direct eye contact or give her any clue as to what is happening or why.

Then, at intervals of your choosing, bring the next seven people in, until you are all standing around her moaning, crying, and making whatever sounds you like.

Do not talk or respond to her. Do not communicate in any way other than sound. She is to decipher what you need and how to proceed.

How she reacts will tell you if she is fit enough to take those infants home.

It will give you practical eyewitness live action testimony of her coping skills.

My guess is she won't last 30 minutes by herself and will use some sort of somatic complaint to leave the room.

If by some miracle of science she handles 60 minutes of the scenario above (I will personally buy all eight of you a new car), bring in another six people acting age appropriately for her other six children - including the three with neurological disabilities - with someone displaying the boy's characteristic autistic behavior.

If she survives that - I'll buy you all your own mansions and put all 14 children through medical school.

There is your fitness test. No hypothetical questions - no questions at all. Just her real time response to stress, which is all that is needed to determine whether she can cope.

And if you get it on videotape, all the better. You could then show her how she responded and she would be able to see with her own eyes the reality of her distorted reality.

And all it took was some time, some adults, some acting, some alarm props, some unexpected visits, some deprivation of her needs and NOISE, NOISE, NOISE, NOISE, NOISE, NOISE, NOISE, NOISE.

Thank you for your consideration.

Feel free to let us know how it went. We will be looking for your report.

Sincerely,

Mattie, for Miss Etta Mae Jenkins, 88, mother of 15, grandmother of 49, great-grandmother to 27 (two sets of twins) and great-great grandmother to 2 and 2/3rds, and for the rest of my fellow citizens, some of whom have returned to protest this madness.

Octuplets: What is it going to take?

March 2, 2009

I needed a few days to tone down this post. I have such ire towards that woman and even more towards Child Protective Services.

What sane woman, what woman with any type of maternal judgment, what single mother with no ability to care for herself or her children - including food, clothing and shelter - turns down free 24/7 professional care for all 14 of her children?

That alone is clear evidence of delusional madness.

What more is it going to take Child Protective Services?

What is it going to take to protect the six children who are and have been neglected?

They are suffering right now. They have been suffering. And they have said they don’t want those children.

They are being neglected and are being deprived of a mother.

Yes. A mother. No mother would turn down what she did.

Especially when the deal included individual care and developmental evaluation and therapy for the other 6 children - in particular the 3 who have been reported to have neurological disabilities - including a boy with autism, who is unable to even feed himself.

That is heinous.

Absolutely heinous.

I honestly did not think she could top the selfishness she had already shown by using her uterus as a birthing factory to fulfill her own delusional desires.

That is not only neglect - it is abuse.

She is turning down care that would have helped her older children cope - care they needed before the octuplets showed up.

And the care Angels in Waiting would have been providing would have been free, not only to the mother, but also the California taxpayers.

Why is this woman being given a choice about anything?

Child Protective Services: can’t you see what her “choices” have lead to?

How much more impaired must she get until you step in and order a psychiatric evaluation?

14 lives depend on her judgment.

She just turned down 24/7 high quality care - better than in the hospital is presently providing - because it would target the older children as well.

What more evidence of poor judgment is there?

What is it going to take?

The grandfather going back to Iraq?

The grandmother going off to Europe like she said she was ready to do? She already doesn’t sleep overnight because of the noise. How much rest have the neurologically sensitive children been getting?

Is there a single person on this planet who thinks even just the two oldest are safe in a house with this woman without adult - yes, adult - supervision?

What if it were drugs clouding her judgment?

There would be no absolutely question those children would be taken from her - maybe all 14. And there would be absolutely no hesitation in not releasing the octuplets to her care.

How many drug addicted mothers - even in the deepest darkest depth of their addlement - would pass up free 24/7 professional nursing care for all 14 children?

Never ever happen.

Not on this planet.

Please evaluate that woman.

Immediately.

Before an infant “rolls off” the changing table, before one doesn’t get fed for 24 hrs, before an older child accidentally or in an uncontrollable tantrum involuntarily or intentional hurts one or more of the preemies.

Someone has to evaluate the children with neurological disabilities to determine their level of frustration and propensity toward violence. I am not suggesting this is the case, but it is standard care - or at least should be - when a mother lacks judgment - the entire family needs to be evaluated.

Would not that be happening if the mother was an alcoholic?

Of course it would.

Again, Child Protective Services, I am beseeching you and in no uncertain terms warning you that if those octuplets go home with that woman there will be a very bad outcome. That is 100% guaranteed, unless she first receives some type of mental health care and then who knows. She has had seven years to develop responsibility “the word she keeps hearing” and she has not done so.

She said on video, which will be used in future court case(s), that she was going to immerse herself in taking care of her children. That is a stone cold admission that she has not been doing so. Flat out 100%.

Please watch that video of her and her mother. The evidence is clear in her eyes, her face, her words and her body language and it has been confirmed by her actions - nothing more clear than her decision to turn down professional care.

She is seriously incapable of caring for even one child and she is in need of serious mental health assistance for herself.

Remember, her own father asked Oprah for a mental exam for her child and he stated unequivocally that his daughter is “NOT MENTALLY COMPLETE”.

The grandmother has said: “The truth is Nadya is not capable of raising 14 children.” & “I’m really tired of taking care of the six children.” & “She really has no idea what she is doing to her children and me.”

These statements will be Exhibit A and no further Exhibits will be needed except for the pictures, xrays, doctors’ and therapists’ reports, and God forbid, coroner’s report.

I am not kidding.

And you should be taking it just as seriously.

This is an emergency situation with potentially lethal consequences.

You, right now, have the future of all 14 children in your hands.

You have their very lives in your hands.

You, and you alone.

The only other 2 adults in these children’s lives have allowed it to get to this point. The grandmother said she is the primary caregiver and her daughter cannot care for them and the grandfather says his daughter is not mentally competent and yet they allowed 14 lives to be put in her hands. They allowed their daughter to do this.

Please know that I am not the only one who has seen her madness - the entire world has - and we have been watching you do nothing.

Six children are relying on you doing your job and eight more hang in the balance.

In my next post, I will offer you a simple test that does not require a therapist or any type of formal psychiatric evaluation, and it can be performed without her knowledge, and with the staff right at there at the hospital.

I am just one person, but I am not going away, and I will continue to document everything I am able (as you can see)…even if it means having to watch Dr Phil.

Octuplets: What about the older children?

February 28, 2009

Hi Cathy.

Thanks for your thoughts. All valid points. Congratulations on managing your family by yourself. You should be very proud of yourself. I mean that in every sense of the word.

I put this out here because we have been getting many comments that are not postable but that border on this same theme.

There is a fundamental difference with this woman that seems to be forgotten.

She chose to have these children when she could not support or care for any of them. She knew that 100%. Absolutely 100%. She knew she did not possess the means to provide for the 6 and yet she went ahead and implanted 6 more. And, although she admitted she knew that it could have been more than one, it would be the same if it resulted in just one child.

It is made heinous but the fact that it resulted in 8.

“Would you abort fetuses, if you found out you were carrying more than you planned for?”

“Planned for” being the operative words. She planned for nothing except the implantation - and she planned, from the moment those embryos were manufactured, that she was going to implant every single one of them - no matter what the pregnancies resulted in - and she did just that. She admitted that on her RadarOnline video with her mother. She didn’t mean to - she tried to catch herself - but she said it. She also waffled as to whether she would have more.

Please watch that video with your own maternal eyes. It’s the body language mother & grandmother link below.

She intentionally got pregnant.

There is no comparing this to any natural pregnancy of any sort. Natural pregnancies happen. They happen even when one is practicing contraception. They happen when one is trying. But there is always an element of the unknown and they always involve the Hand of God.

Her pregnancy was caused through the hand of an unethical physician.

I just don’t know how to get this across any more clearly - how very wrong it was - how abusive - YES, 100% ABUSIVE - to the children she already had.

Please do not answer this. It is just something to think about to yourself to get some maternal perspective on this case. If your son with autism was your third or fourth child, would you have chosen - 100% intentionally chosen - to have 3 or 4 more?

If 3/6 children were neurologically disabled - no matter how mildly - would you go to a IVF facility and 100% intentionally implant more embryos?

Even one?

Why?

How would it benefit the six you already had and could not support?

Whose needs would it be filling?

Whose needs would it be neglecting?

That is the fundamental difference.

I presume your children were all naturally conceived, so that even if you were trying to conceive, you could not be 100% certain that intercourse would result in pregnancy.

By walking into that IVF facility, she intended to get pregnant. She may not have known how many, if any, would result - but she had the clear intent to bring at least one more mouth into this world to feed, clothe, bathe, love, educate and shelter, when she could not do that with the 6 she already had. And from the grandmother’s own words - she and the grandfather are the primary caregivers both physically and financially.

There exists no explanation on the planet that makes that ok.

None.

Period.

She intentionally and with forethought and malice walked in there and got implanted with 6 embryos because she was fulfilling her dream of having a large family when she was already unable to care for the other six.

That is premeditated child neglect.

And, it is premeditated welfare fraud.

It is the clear premeditation of her act that makes this case incomparable to any other case.

You bring up the other families with multiples and how they have not been attacked.

First of all, all of them had parents - all of them had a father - all of them knew that at least there would be two sets of hands responsible for the children.

In this case, not. And that was a known fact. 100% known.

There is nothing obliging the grandparents to stick around. The GF says he’s going back to his native Iraq to make money and the GM says she’s going to visit her sister in Europe. There is no legal obligation for them to stay as there would be with a father. As far as I know - sperm donors are not financially responsible

How would you have felt if the parents of the McCaughey septuplets would have gone back for “just one more”? Compare her reaction when asked if she was going to have any more with this mother. They were completely different - one based in maternal reality, one not.

How many families of any means go back and have a sixth round of IVF after they already have 6 children?

Has there ever been such a case? I don’t know. Prior to this what was the most family a mother had via IVF?

IVF is not meant for baby production because the mother “always wanted a big family”. It is meant for infertile couples, who are unable to conceive through natural means. Whether or not they have more is dependent on their individual situations - the first being whether they can provide for them. This women’s intent from the start was to use every last embryo to maximize production - regardless of the number, the status of the already born children’s health or her ability to provide for them.

She said it with her words and it was born out in her actions.

If one says she was not able to understand the ramifications of her actions, that she wasn’t thinking clearly or didn’t consider the possibilities of multiple births, then one is saying she has poor judgment. And the mere fact that she could not think through her actions and still doesn’t get it is proof that she is an unfit mother, if only psychologically.

But 14 children’s lives are resting on that unsound judgment and that is why someone has to step in.

It is black and white by the mere fact of intent.

Had she been having intercourse - even if she was trying - there exists an element of chance.

That could be considered irresponsibility.

But what she did was criminal.

And there is no way around it.

Period.

I can tell you from my experience, having been at the bottom of a double digit family, how little personal attention a child gets. But it is the older children who suffer the most. Their experience was worse than anything I or the siblings younger than me had. They were never given a choice. They never had a chance to be children. They were never free of responsibility. No matter where they were or what they did. Their younger siblings always figured into the mix. Their childhood and youth were highjacked and that, by definition, is child neglect, whether it is intentional or a by-product of the Pope’s teachings.

And that is why I am speaking out for those six children. No matter their existence thus far, their fates will be sealed if those octuplets go home with that mother. None of them will have a childhood, especially the oldest girl, who has already had to help, for her entire life, her special siblings. They have always had to come first.

When asked, the older children said they did not want the octuplets. That should tell you something and it should count for something. And I can tell you the resentment will continue to build and it is a resentment that never goes away.

My siblings and I were healthy and able to care for each other, none of us needed intense therapy to cope with the world through a special mind, my mother and father were able to financially support, educate, feed and house us, and most importantly of all, we all came about through natural means and by the Lord’s hand. There was never a 100% premeditated certainty.

Now imagine if every one of those octuplets end up having special needs.

What is that oldest girl’s life going to be like?

Right now she still has a chance to be a kid - once those 8 children enter that house - that chance has been forever stolen from her.

There is no other way to look at it. It is reality - her reality.

Why aren’t people focusing on that?

The octuplets are a blank slate. The siblings have not even met them. They have said they don’t want them. That woman has not bonded with them - in fact she is completely detached from them - her words reveal that.

Why not allow them to be adopted? Why not allow them to have a full chance? Why not allow 8 couples and their extended families experience the immense joy of loving and caring for a child that they otherwise would not be able to do? Especially a child who might have a life of physical and cognitive struggles ahead of them?

Is there anyone out there who doesn’t think one child with a mother and father has a better chance than 14 children with that mother?

Why not allow those six children, in particular, the oldest girl, to have a life?

Don’t their lives and well-being count?

Discuss the medical ethics, the morality, the impact on society, the mother’s irresponsibility, lack of judgment and delusional madness, but do not neglect the older children who have already been neglected.

If those octuplets are sent home - their fates will be sealed.

Forever.

Octuplets: Grandmother’s first interview (Feb 9th)

February 10, 2009

I keep finding these posts in the drafts. I don’t know why they weren’t posted right away. This is the first interview the grandmother did with Radaronline. I combined the story and the video comments and the GMA video below.

Angela Suleman reveals that her daughter, Nadya, had wanted to become pregnant from early on. At 16 she got pregnant and miscarried and discovered she had blocked fallopian tubes. It is truly hard to believe that anything in this woman’s reproductive system is blocked or malfunction. 14 children in 8 years has to be a record by any means. She turned to a friend for sperm and started getting in vitro. She doesn’t exactly say when or who the sperm donor is.

ANGELA: He was in love with her and wanted to marry her. But Nadya wanted to have children on her own.

Nadya does not work and relies on her parents to care for her children. Angela says she is the primary caregiver.

ANGELA: Yes, I was practically raised her children. She really had no means to support them. They were always living in my house.

She had just found out that Nadya had received $168K in disability payments for a bad back, while she was pregnant and giving birth over and over and over..

The truth is that Nadya hasn’t worked since she started having her children, while Ed and I battled to pay her bills.

Nadya promised to help me with the bills, but she never has.

I did hear that she received money from her insurance - she never told me. But I have never seen any money. Not for house payment or feeding the kids.

We are now living in my humble 3-bedroom home. So we’re there all crowded in.

I lost a house because of it and now I’m struggling to look after her six. We had to put in bunk beds, feed them in shifts and there’s children’s clothing piled all over the house.

Only six kids and they’re already eating in shifts?

ANGELA: The older ones will sit at the table and eat, and the younger ones have their little chairs with the tables, and the autistic boy needs to be fed. So it’s a lot of work.

Why didn’t she stop her from having more babies?

ANGELA: Her dad and I were talking to the doctor and said, she’s not married, she wants children and she really does mot have any means to support them, so she really should not have any more. That’s enough.

Angela said that she and Nadya’s father, Ed, begged one doctor not to implant any more embryos in Nadya, who already had six children. But Nadya found another doctor to implant six embryos, and two split, resulting in eight more babies. “I’m really angry about that.”

The story on the doctor has changed several times. Here she says a different doctor did the octuplets. Nadya said the same one did them all. Dr. Michael Kamrava, who Nadya is seen on video with having an ultrasound with her twin pregnancy, is being investigated by the California Medical Board.

ANGELA: She has not been thinking straight. To have more is just not right.

She already has six beautiful children, why would she do this?

She really, really has no idea what she’s doing to her children, and to me.

And while the grandparents are looking after the six kids, the mother went on NBC and told Ann Curry how bad her childhood was. It didn’t make Angela very happy.

We raised her in a loving family and her father always spoiled her.

Maybe that’s the problem. Who knows. The whole situation is devastating for all involved. RadarOnline.com took pictures and video inside the home and a reporter described the interior as “filthy”, with food on the walls. (See the pix in the links below)

ANGELA: The truth is Nadya’s not capable of raising 14 children.

How she’s going to cope, I really don’t know. I’m really tired of taking care of the six children. I need her to think about what she’s going to do and how she’ll provide for all these children.

And the six kids?

They’re wonderful beautiful children, and I love them dearly. I would never let anything happen to them so I’m talking care of them. And I have been. And I don’t know what the future will bring, becausem hopefully she will get some living accommodations, because it is really a small house. And so she could take care of all her children.

And the octuplets?

She wasn’t at the octuplets’ birth because she was looking after the other six children. “But I saw the octuplets when they were two days old. They were so tiny and fragile, with bright purple skin, I was afraid to touch them but they’re all doing well. Nadya has given them all Biblical names. Seven of them are dark-haired, but one, Noah, shows my side of the family. He looked so cute with his purple skin and bright yellow hair.”

According to ABC - Nadya’s publicist was questioned about the condition of the house and he actually said it wasn’t her fault because she wasn’t there.

Nadya Suleman’s publicist Mike Furtney said that his client has been away for nearly two months, so shouldn’t be held responsible for the home’s current condition. Furtney said his client planned to move into a larger home once the octuplets were healthy enough to leave doctors’ care. He declined to comment on any of the remarks Angela Suleman made about her daughter in the interview. “Those are very personal issues between a mother and a daughter,” he said.

Hello. She is responsible for her children’s living conditions no matter where she is or they are. And how is she going to move anywhere when she has no money?

What does Angela think about the frozen embryos?

ANGELA: She justified it by saying those frozen embryos were living human beings. However, to me, anything that is frozen is not living, and she did not have to have them thawed. She could have also - if she wanted to donate them to some couples that have no children.

But to have them all is unconscionable to me.

February 18, 2009

Part 3

Maggie Rodriguez talks with the grandmother of the octuplets, Angela Suleman about the sperm donor and Angelina Jolie.

MAGGIE RODRIGUEZ: Tell me about the sperm donor. How did she meet him?

ANGELA SULEMAN: They were just friends. And she’s a very persuasive, well-spoken young woman. And somehow she must have talked him into it.

RODRIGUEZ: Has she been in contact with him since the babies were born?

ANGELA: I’m sure she may have spoken with him.

RODRIGUEZ:Is he part of the children’s lives - the six children?

ANGELA: Not at this point.

RODRIGUEZ: Would you like him to be?

ANGELA: I would like him to be. Yes. Every child needs a father. But my daughter wanted to raise these children by herself. So that, I think, is a kind of a little selfish act. I don’t know why she would not have a father, the father of these children in her life. I don’t.

RODRIGUEZ: Do you think he was paid for the sperm?

ANGELA: I don’t know. She’s so persuasive. I doubt that she had to pay (she laughed) for anything really. She’s a very convincing person.

RODRIGUEZ: She’s been compared to Angelina Jolie. Did Nadya ever say that she admired Jolie or wanted to be like her?

ANGELA: No. She never mentions celebrities. She’s really not into that kind of thing. People think that she, you know, admires her. But, I don’t think so.

RODRIGUEZ: People say that she even had plastic surgery to look like her.

ANGELA: No. No, I don’t think she ever did. She gained 130 pounds. So that makes a difference in the facial features, in her wherever, you know, when you gain 130 pounds, goodness, I’d hate (she laughed) this to happen to me. I probably would change a lot, too.

Is she saying she doesn’t think her daughter had any type of plastic surgery?

RODRIGUEZ: What would you like to see happen to your daughter?

ANGELA: I would like to her somehow get enough money [giggles] to get a house for these babies, but you know, she starts working, she won’t be able to take care of them because then it’s up to me and I would like start living a little too. [giggles]

RODRIGUEZ: Do you see yourself as sort of a victim of something?

ANGELA: No. I’m not a victim because I can just get up and go. And I think I’m gonna do this very soon. I’m gonna go visit my sister in Europe and my friends and just live it up a little.

RODRIGUEZ: Do you think these kids are victims?

ANGELA: Not really. You know, they are really very happy children. They’re very happy. They love their grandma and their mommy. And, you know, I think love is the main thing here. When they know they’re loved, things will work out. They’ll be normal.

14 children need more than love - they need attention. And the healthy children will get no attention other than can you be a good boy/girl and help mommy with…

Octuplets: Grandmother on The Early Show (Part 2)

February 17, 2009

Maggie Rodriguez of The Early Show interviews Amgela Suleman the grandmother of the octuplets. Dr. Michael Kamrava, of the West Coast IVF Clinic, performed the in-vitro fertilization that led to Nadya getting pregnant with the octuplets.

MAGGIE RODRIGUEZ: How much responsibility does the doctor have in this?

ANGELA SULEMAN: As far as I’m concerned, he shouldn’t have done it. But, he’s a doctor. When he’s asked to do something, I guess he doesn’t refuse. …so the doctor actually called and wanted to talk to Nadya, and then, when I realized that was her doctor, I pleaded with him, ‘Please, don’t do this anymore,’ and he promised.

RODRIGUEZ: Promised you?

ANGELA: [She smiles.] Fell on deaf ears.

RODRIGUEZ: What did he say?

ANGELA: Yes, I realize that, you know, she shouldn’t have that many. She’s a single mother, tah dah dah,’ and he’ll not do it anymore. And yet, next year, she had another one, and another one.

RODRIGUEZ: And now eight more.

ANGELA: Yeah.

RODRIGUEZ: At what point did you tell her to stop having babies?

ANGELA: I told her she needed to stop, because I wouldn’t be able to help her, because there was not enough room in the house. And, for some reason, she couldn’t. I guess that’s what happens when a person is obsessive compulsive.

RODRIGUEZ: What would she say to your objections?

ANGELA: She said that she’ll take care of it, and she won’t have any more. And then you see, laughs, but she is pregnant again and again.

RODRIGUEZ: Is she sick?

ANGELA: She doesn’t seem sick. She was brilliant in her studies. But as far as everyday life is concerned, she is just not really thinking things through sometimes.

RODRIGUEZ: Do you blame yourself?

ANGELA: I did, but then, I thought, ‘You know, what could I have done different?’ I was a loving mother and she had a loving father. So, I don’t know.

RODRIGUEZ: When did this start? This obsession with having children?

ANGELA: When she was a teenager.

RODRIGUEZ: What do you remember?

ANGELA: I remember that she always loved to be around children. She loved to talk about having a large family. Then when she was older, she finally realized she could not have children the regular route, so did she start having in vitro.

RODRIGUEZ: Did you support her? Having a child as a single mother?

ANGELA: I was really from a different school. I was brought up differently - very strict. But I wanted to be, you know supportive because once it’s done - you can’t undo it.

Not the first one but every one after you could have prevented.

RODRIGUEZ: In other countries there are limits to the numbers of the embryos a doctor can implant. Do you hope that a change in the lawas comes about because of your daughter’s case?

ANGELA: I hope so. There should be maybe a law to forbid a doctor to do this. However, she said she didn’t want these embryos killed, you know, done away with … Those were her children, and she wanted to try and just use the rest.

RODRIGUEZ: Let’s talk about the others - how are they? What is their feeling about the new babies?

ANGELA: Well, they were actually asked and they didn’t want them. [Laughs.]

RODRIGUEZ: They said they didn’t want them? Why?

ANGELA: They’re pretty smart. Maybe they thought they would not get the attention they really deserved.

RODRIGUEZ: Is that a concern for you?

ANGELA: Yes. But as long as I am able, I am going to help out.

RODRIGUEZ: So it’s you, the six kids and Nadya in the house?

ANGELA: Yes, but there grandfather is also helping out right now.

RODRIGUEZ: And what about Nadya?

ANGELA: Nadya’s not working right now. She gets some disability. She was getting disability because she was injured on her job. But that’s also gone.

RODRIGUEZ: So now she has no money - you have very little.

ANGELA: Very limited amount.

RODRIGUEZ: And now you have eight more.

ANGELA: Yeah.

RODRIGUEZ: What will you do?

ANGELA: I don’t know. I haven’t thought about that yet. But I hope something will come up, because lots of neighbors have been very generous and nice.

RODRIGUEZ: Does she realize the huge responsibility this is?

ANGELA: I’m sure she’s realizing it more and more.

RODRIGUEZ: Is there any sense of remorse for her?

ANGELA: I didn’t hear it because those babies are here now, and it’s too late, really, to have remorse. But she loves children. What can I say? She probably should have been a teacher like I was!

RODRIGUEZ: Have you been surprised by the hate mail and the death threats?

ANGELA: Yes, It was kind of scary.

RODRIGUEZ: What was the scariest thing you read?

ANGELA: What should happen to her - how she should be hacked up. This is a mother who’s trying to take care of her children, and she’s a loving mother, so I don’t think anything should happen to her, heaven forbid, you know — because then, who’s gonna take care of all these children?

RODRIGUEZ: If you could speak directly to the people who are tormenting ou and your daughter, what would you say to them?

ANGELA: Please stop it, you know. There’s no reason to do this. Because it’s, it’s not necessary. She is going to have a tough life, with all these children. She is going to be punished. She believes in God so, you know, God is gonna take care of all this.

RODRIGUEZ: How do you think she will be punished?

ANGELA: Well, can you imagine, to be a single mother and having 14 children. It’s a horrendous job. She wants to do a good job and she’s been doing a good job. It’s going to be very difficult, to say the least.

Her children are the one who have been punished. They spoke up and said they didn’t want any more. And God is as much as an excuse as the human detonators use in the Arab world to sanction their brand of evil. She has sentenced each one of these kids to a life of neglect. That is child abuse. Period. God had nothing to do with sending her these children. She went to a lab and had them implanted out of her own selfishness. Even the children figured that out.

Octuplets: Grandmother on The Early Show (Part 1)

February 16, 2009

Maggie Rodriguez of the Early Show interviews Angela Suleman, grandmother of the octuplets.

MAGGIE RODRIGUEZ: Angela’s is a tale of an overworked, financially-taxed woman having to put her life on hold to care for her grandchildren, angry at her daughter’s obsession with having so many kids, and resentful of the eight new babies — until she met them. Her daughter, Nadya, a single mother, had six kids already, all by in-vitro fertilization, when she had eight more embryos implanted.

ANGELA SULEMAN: I was actually very upset that my daughter had gone and done this in-vitro, but, after I saw them, you know, I thought, ‘My goodness, these are my grandchildren. They’re so tiny and fragile. I’ll have to be there for them.

RODRIGUEZ: Did she tell you before she went to get this last round of in vitro that she wanted to get pregnant again?

ANGELA: She didn’t tell me, because she knew I didn’t want her to do it.

RODRIGUEZ: So she went and did it…

ANGELA: Yes.

RODRIGUEZ: …unbeknownst to you. Did she tell you when it was successful?

ANGELA: Well, [laughs], when I saw that it was successful, she admitted to it.

RODRIGUEZ: Oh, so it’s not until she was visibly pregnant that she told you?

ANGELA: Yes.

RODRIGUEZ: When she had just the six, were there days when you felt, ‘this is too much. I’m overwhelmed’?

ANGELA [Laughs.]: Every day.

RODRIGUEZ: I can’t do this.

ANGELA: Yes.

RODRIGUEZ: How are you handling these kids financially?

ANGELA: Well, my retirement check goes every month. It’s just gone.

RODRIGUEZ: I know you live in a three bedroom house - who sleeps where?

ANGELA: There are two bunk beds in one bedroom. I mean a bunkbed. The other one has a crib and has a nice little bed. Then there’s the master bedroom. One boy sleeps on the mattress and the little ones each have a crib in that bedroom. So it’s crowded.

RODRIGUEZ: How will you accommodate 8 more babies?

ANGELA: Not in that house! I’ll have to do something to, you know, help her get another one.

RODRIGUEZ: Do you resent her already?

ANGELA: I did, but, you can resent your daughter for just so long, and then you see that she’s trying so hard, you know, to take care of these children. And she’s a good mother.

RODRIGUEZ: What is she like as a mother?

ANGELA: She’s a very good mother. [She laughs.] And she had a good example!

[They laugh.]

RODRIGUEZ: I’m sure she did.

ANGELA: There must be a reason, you know, why this happened, and that they’re all healthy. That is a miracle, a total miracle.
