Voting procedures need to be revamped

The Senate made the final official electoral count - as expected 365-173. Dick Cheney read as his last VP duty:

Pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the United States, the Senate and House of Representatives are meeting in joint session to verify the certificates and count the votes of the electors of the several states.

barry and biden can now be officially inaugurated on 1-20-09.

I wouldn't count on SCOTUS to do anything to change that - no matter how inclined and no matter the evidence. At this point it is too late - which was the point in the delaying.

From a non-political person, who has never voted and had not been involved in politics of any sort until Jan 08 - the voting process needs to be changed. Each person's vote is not counted the same. The superdelegates decided this election after the DNC Rules Committee decided to hijack the votes in Michigan and give delegates to barry whose name was not on the ballot and therefore not one vote could have been proved to have been cast for him.

Are any Michiganders suing? If so, what would be their recourse?

It was an illegal primary. A vital and (deciding as far as popular vote) deliberation went on behind closed doors. Absolute corruption. You cannot have a process be clean if one element of it is dirty. The primary results will forever be illegal.

Imagine the outrage if Sen Clinton and barry's positions would have been reversed. It would never happen. No way. Period. That alone reflects its illegality and inherent bias. The Double Standard.

Then there are all the other irregularities with ACORN, bused in voters and the choosing of South Carlina and Nevada as the two primaries moved up. And had they been Michigan and New York? It was an intentional intervention that directly affected the outcome. As was the proven to exist proobama media bias.

Should be:

1 - No caucuses. Completely undemocratic and are subject to coercion and intimidation. They are inherently biased toward some demographics - in this case, Sen Clinton's: seniors, shift workers and single moms, which most definitely the outcome as she won only 1/14. And the one she won - Nevada - had many complaints of barry voter intimidation and is presently being litigated. Again - what is the recourse? So what's stopping someone from doing it as long as nothing happens before the general election?

2 - Every state should have a vote in the primaries. The primary vote is more important and the individual's vote means more because they can vote for whomever they want - not just the final choice. Primaries should take place over the period of two weeks or so - no longer.

3 - Superdelegates should be completely abolished. They decided this election. Period. They could have voted for Sen Clinton just as easily as they both got the same amount of votes - actually more people actually pulled the lever for Sen Clinton - that should not be forgotten much the same that Al Gore's vote count. barry won by virtue of caucus states (13/14) only 4 of which were blue. That is not the will of the democrats. A caucus in Idaho should not count the same as a 100K lead in votes in a blue state like Ohio or Pennsylvania. barry did not get the required number of delegates to win. Period.

4 - ID standards should be the same in every state as should the voting machines and procedures.

5 - Both parties should abide by the exact same procedures and rules for nomination.

5 - Independents should be allowed for whomever they want in every state.

6 - Absolute cap on campaign finances. barry broke his promise and was not held accountable. Say what you want - barry bought the election. He outspent McCain massively at the end and McCain could not fight back. (Neither could Sen Clinton.)

A quick comment on the Obama's early trip to the White House. No matter what happens with the birth certificate, citizenship, widespread voter registration and caucus fraud, illegal and foreign donations and/or nefarious associations and family members - barry will be inaugurated. If it is proven that he surrendered his citizenship an amendment or some such will ensure he remains eligible. It was so decreed when he entered the race - perhaps even as far back as 2004. Edwards to dilute the vote and the DNC's selection followed by ridiculous accusations of racism. And then there's the pro-Obama media propaganda.

The point is that this early display of transfer of power in front of the world cements barry's inauguration. Anything less would cause massive uproar. I wonder what it feels like to be Senator Clinton - especially after what she made out to be by the Candidate of Change!

He has still not publicly apologized or addressed the black community on "The Clinton's" behalf - but he had no problem using them to campaign for him. He would not be where he is if he wasn't toughened up by Sen Clinton and had the long primary for people to see he could actually become a functioning politician - if only by guise.

barry is getting his lawyers out in full force. Is there anything he hasn't done? Just like his first election except this time it's his voter registration is being challenged. See how the lawyers are volunteering because they smell fame and want to be part of it. I wonder how many are from U of C, Northwestern, Columbia and Harvard?

Senator Barack Obama's campaign is expected to send at least 5,000 lawyers to Florida alone. The first recruitment e-mail message sent by the campaign received 6,000 responses from lawyers willing to volunteer; two other recruitment messages have been sent since. Meanwhile, Senator John McCain's campaign has lined up "Lawyers for McCain" to spread out at polling places in battleground states as advocates for the ticket.

Already, lawyers for Obama have been talking to county election officials and boards of election to increase the number of early voting sites, to encourage early voting and to make sure that there will be sufficient number of voting machines.

"We have a selective, but ferocious legal strategy,"said Jenny Backus,[called Palin a fluff bunny.] a spokeswoman for the Obama campaign's legal program. "Rather than waiting for Election Day, we've had lawyers working from the beginning. We've used them for a massive voter education program, so that people know their rights and what to do on Election Day."

So far, over 10,000 lawyers have signed up over the D.N.C.'s Web site, with recruiting continuing. "We want to assist voters in real time to make sure they will be able to vote," said Joe Sandler, general counsel for the D.N.C., "and to advocate for them with local election officials."

Some law firms, like Saul Ewing in Philadelphia, are allowing their lawyers to receive pro-bono credit for voter protection work on Nov. 4. Saul Ewing, with 250 lawyers and offices in the mid-Atlantic region, says that lawyers from nearly all of its nine offices will work at the polls and that the firm's Harrisburg office had been used for election protection training.

"Our lawyers are willing to go mano-a-mano if necessary," said Orlan Johnson, a partner at Saul Ewing and a member of the Obama national finance committee. All volunteers must undergo a training session either in person or online with the Obama campaign. "We're going to have lawyers at the polls and in close proximity to the court houses," Johnson said. As an example, he said lawyers could be helpful in keeping the polls open when lines become extremely long.

I'm sure they're all over swing states. The NAACP is suing barry's vetted VP, Gov Tim Kaine (D-VA) filed 8 days before the election. What were they waiting for? Press? Setting up if he loses Virginia? 10,oo0 lawyers? How many are Republicans who just want press? Buying the election and then legally insuring it?

Ran across this post by WINGEDHUSSAR1683 about voter irregularities in the Nevada primary. Just look at the swing states and you'll find plenty of "voter irregularity". I believe ACORN is being investigated in each one. Senator Clinton's counsel, Lyn Utrecht, wrote a detailed letter (dated 1-23-08) to Jill Derby, Chair Nevada State Democratic Party. Evidently barry's camp sent a letter the day before complaining about the caucus. Typical MO. Accuse the other side, let the MSM run with it and his own problems get shoved to the blogosphere. His ego probably couldn't tolerate losing -- it was the only caucus Sen Clinton won.

þ Preference cards were premarked for Obama.

þ Clinton supporters were denied preference cards on the basis that none were left, while Obama supporters at the same caucus sites were given preference cards.

þ Caucus chairs obviously supporting Obama:
o Deliberately miscounted votes to favor Senator Obama.
o Deliberately counted unregistered persons as Obama votes.
o Deliberately counted young children as Obama votes.
o Refused to accept preference cards from Clinton supporters who were at the caucus site by noon on the ground that the cards were not filled out fast enough.
o Told Clinton supporters to leave prior to electing delegates.

þ Clinton supporters who arrived late were turned away from the caucus, while late Obama supporters were admitted to the caucus.

þ Obama supporters wrongly informed Clinton supporters that they were not allowed to participate in the caucus if their names were not on the voter rolls. However, Obama supporters whose names did not appear on the voter rolls were permitted to register at the caucus site.

þ Obama supporters falsely informed Clinton supporters that no registration forms were available for them to register to vote at the caucus site.

þ Obama supporters wrongly told Clinton supporters who were attempting to caucus at the wrong precinct that they could not caucus at that site, while simultaneously permitting Obama supporters at the wrong precinct to participate.

þ Obama supporters were allowed to move to the front of the registration and sign-in line.

þ Voters at at-large caucus sites were informed that those sites were for Obama supporters only.

þ Clinton supporters at at-large caucus sites were told that their managers would be watching them while they caucused.

þ Workers were informed that their supervisors kept lists of Clinton and Obama supporters, and were told that they could not caucus unless their name was on the list of Obama supporters.

þ Many Clinton supporters were threatened with employment termination or other discipline if they caucused for Senator Clinton.

þ Workers were required to sign a pledge card to support Obama if they wanted time off to participate in the caucus.

þ Workers at one casino were offered a lavish lunch and permitted to attend and register to vote only if they agree to support Obama.

The complaints summarized above represent only a small sample of the complaints received by the Committee. With respect to each of these complaints and many more, the Committee has the names and phone numbers of those reporting these incidents and the specific precinct numbers where the incidents occurred. Upon request the Committee will share these with the Party with appropriate safeguards to protect these individuals from reprisal. On the whole, these reports show a troubling effort by the Obama campaign and its allies and supporters to advance their own campaign at the expense of the right of all Nevada Democrats to participate in the democratic process in a free, fair and open manner.

Senator Clinton and the Committee are wholly committed to ensuring that every eligible voter has his or her vote cast and counted. There is no place in the American electoral process for the types of voter suppression, intimidation and harassment systematically engaged in by the Obama campaign, its allies and supporters.

I really don't know why people are surprised by this. It's standard operating procedures in Chicago politics. barry's main accomplishment as community organizer was registering 150K new voters (with ACORN). And who were the votes for? Bill Clinton. Sorry don't know the status at present - but with that rundown and voters willing to testify I can't imagine it being shoved aside. Though I wouldn't be surprised if it was. I also ran across a site that posted an outline of voter fraud in other states and a quick run down on barry's illegal donations. I'll see if I can find it...I'm transferring over posts and adding drafts as I am able.

Pro-Obama, Muslim-led voter registration in mosques

Came across this article (10-6-08) on OneNewsNow by CHAD GROENING about Pro-Obama, Muslim-led voter registration in mosques. The question is of separation of church and state - much the same as was questioned about Obama and Rev Wright's church, which is still being investigated by the IRS. What's the chances of anything coming from it? The chances are even lower for this group campaigning at mosques because of the political atmosphere, which I'm sure is what they were counting on. Virginia, which may go blue for the first, time has a large population of Muslim-Americans. I believe second only to the Chicagoland area.

GROENING: A leading critic of Islam isn't surprised there has been virtually no coverage or action taken against a Muslim group that has been running an illegal "get out the vote" campaign in swing-state mosques.

The group, Muslim Americans for Obama [MAFO], insists that all of its voter registration activity is non-partisan, despite the fact that its mission statement says it was launched in August 2008 "to provide a vehicle for Muslim-American supporters of Barack Obama to organize and mobilize our fellow citizens to get out the vote to elect Barack Obama the next president of the United States."

Continuing, the group's website states: "Although there is only a short period of time until the election..., there is much work to be done for supporters of Barack Obama's candidacy. [MAFO] was formed to offer a vehicle for Muslim-Americans to mobilize quickly and effectively so that our community turns out in great numbers for Barack Obama on Election Day."

The "get out the vote" events are scheduled at mosques in Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and Ohio.

Robert Spencer is director of Jihad Watch, a project of the David Horowitz Freedom Center. He argues MAFO may be skirting the law.

"When they are running these voter registration drives at mosques, really it's essentially illegal because they are clearly trying to get people to vote for Obama -- and that's in violation of their tax-exempt status," Spencer charges. "So this is a group that is crossing the line and ought to be disciplined as such."

The Jihad Watch leader, however, figures that is not likely to happen. "...I kind of doubt that they will be [disciplined], given the politically correct atmosphere nowadays," he says. "I wouldn't be the least surprised if no action is taken against them."

Remember the incident with Obama and his refusal to allow the Muslim women wearing the traditional hijabs to be seen on camera at his rally? And the McCain rally incident with the psycho with the bumperstickers? ACORN? Meanwhile this goes unreported. What is happening at barry's old church every week? How long will it take until all the associated campaign fraud of Obama's gets documented? He got 18M votes in the primaries as did Sen Clinton. How many of Clinton votes where "questionable" vs Obama? Which high-ranking barry operative will squeal first?

WEST: You may recognize this famous quote (I wasn't sure if she meant it was one he plagiarized. Joe Biden is in the Plagiarism Hall of Fame.) "From each according to his abilities - to each according to their needs." That's from Karl Marx. How is Senator Obama not being a Marxist if he intends to spread the wealth around?

BIDEN: Are you joking? (He blinks and gives his classic I'm going to eat you little girl grin.) Is this a joke?

WEST: No.

BIDEN: Is that a real question?

WEST: Yes.

BIDEN: He looks down and does that grin like listen here girlie. He's entertaining even when he's patronizing.) He's not talking about spreading the wealth around. He's talking about giving the middle class an opportunity to get the tax breaks they used to have......that's what we think. It's a ridiculous comparison, with all due respect. (Too late, Joe.)

BIDEN nods his head, clenches his mouth and licks his lips...too late...they've already flapped.

WEST: ...it will not be six months till the world tests Barack Obama.' But what worries many people is your caveat asking them to stand with him because it's not going to be apparent initially that he is right. Are you forewarning Americans that nothing will be done and..

He goes on comparing BO & JM and the economy, Iraq, Afghanistan and North Korea. "Barack Obama's been right. John McCain has been wrong. That was my point. WEST: What do you say to the people who are concerned that Barack Obama is going to turn America into a socialist country much like Sweden?

BIDEN: (He doesn't even other to dignify it.) I don't know anyone who believes that except the far right wing of the Republican Party. (Get me to the hell out of here.)

FBI confirms ACORN under investigation

Palin continues to hammer ACORN - as right she should. When they uncover the extent of the fraud (after the inauguration) it will prove that Sen Clinton won the popular vote...by a lot. How will it reflect then on the first black president? That he won because of voter fraud, electioneering, illegal campaign donations, an illegal primary, racial threats if he lost, a capitulated convention vote and coronation by the DNC. Never happen if the gender and race were reversed. What kind of racial equality is there if it goes hand-and-hand with white guilt?

CNN (Ed Hornick, Drew Griffin and Kathleen Johnston):

"[Obama] won't tell you the full truth ... on his connections to ACORN ... under investigation for rampant voter fraud."

"In this election, especially here in Ohio, you're going to be asked to choose between a candidate who will not disavow a group committing voter fraud and a leader who will not tolerate it."

The FBI confirmed (10-14) ACORN is being accused of voter registration fraud. Brian Mellor, an ACORN attorney in Boston, Massachusetts, said the group has its own quality control process and has fired workers in the past -- including workers in Gary, Indiana.

(In Gary, Lake County, IN), during the primary, there is eyewitness accounts that school buses were used to take students to the voting booths where they were coached who to vote for. Gary was involved in the late returns that considerably narrowed the popular vote. Just an extension of the Daley Machine. See: "We Will Not Be Silenced" documentary by Gigi Gaston. Presently the mayor is trying to get people to vote early...and often.)

But Mellor said allegations that his organization committed fraud is a government attempt to keep people disenfranchised. "We believe their purpose is to attack ACORN and suppress votes," he said.

Palin said her campaign is calling on Obama, the Democratic presidential nominee, to release communications his campaign had with the group.

"[We] don't want to turn the Buckeye State into the ACORN state," she said to loud cheers.

Obama campaign spokesman Tommy Vietor responded in a statement Friday, saying: "We have not worked with ACORN at all in the general election. Rather than make these false, desperate attacks, the McCain-Palin campaign should release an economic plan that actually helps the middle class instead of giving billions in tax cuts to big corporations."

Thus admitting that they DID in fact use ACORN to win the primaries - it's all that mattered. In January Obama said: "I have no doubt that I'll--once the nomination contest is over, I will get the people who voted for her." Doesn't get a whole lot more messiah than that. Less than 120K separated Bush in Kerry in Ohio and voter fraud was discovered then. They still haven't fixed it. Now 300K ballots look suspicious with duplicates, obviously same signature and names featuring the Dallas Cowboys. The attorney general took it to the Supreme court to delay it until after the election. See here. Florida it was Mickey Mouse and Nevada it was funny names on Obama campaign donations. Then there were complaints of caucuses in Texas and busing across state lines in South Carolina. All the FBI needs to do is check out the swing states.

INTERVIEWER: If elected president would you agree in you first one hundred to agree to meet with a delegations of these various delegations from these various organizations - the campaign for community values - could they count on you in you first 100 days to sit down with them?

OBAMA: Before I even get inaugurated, (12-1-07 he's saying this), during the transition we're gonna be calling all of you in to help us shape the agenda. We're gonna be having meetings all across the country with community organizations so you have input into the agenda for the next presidency of the United States of America."

I'm not sure what happened but the comments were shut off. Anyone know why? Who's going to take on ACORN? What would happen if more than 50K (or more) dead or ineligible voters voted for barry like the bussed school kids in Gary? Sen Clinton would unquestionably lead in the popular vote. More voters actually pulled the lever for her anyway. This whole election is a fraud and not in the least bit democratic.

More voter irregularity. According to AP: "Hundreds of absentee ballots sent to voters in Rensselaer County, NY, identified the Democratic presidential candidate as 'Barack Osama.' Commissioners for the Rensselaer County Board of Elections say they 'regret the error." The rest have been shredded and new ones will be sent out.

A very barry fieldtrip

obama volunteers treat the homeless and drug addicted to a field trip...to register to vote for barry. Needless to say they didn't need a photo ID or background check. Ohio of all places. Why didn't they do it last election? What did they get? What did barry operatives donate to the homeless shelters or fed the people?

According to New York Post's JEANE MACINTOSH

The huge effort by a pro-Obama group, Vote Today Ohio, takes advantage of a quirk in the state's elections laws that allows people to register and cast ballots at the same time without having to prove residency.

Among the volunteers were Yori Stadlin and Vivian Lehrer of the Upper West Side, who got married last week and decided to spend their honeymoon shepherding voters to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.

What does it matter? They most likely won't vote? It matters because the GOP look at the voter registration as a guide to see where to focus their efforts. If they're out registered by hundreds of thousands of votes they might look past that state as lost. Once barry's voter fraud is exposed (let's hope there comes a time when the press feels safe enough to do their job) his campaign won't be heralded as the most organized...it will be proven to be the most corrupt. Straight out of the Daley playbook. It's so funny to me that people don't know this goes on. barry won his first election by challenging his opponent's signatures. Wake up folks.

Tonight, Senator Obama is being credited with the passage in Springfield of the landmark reform legislation that places new restrictions on political fundrasing. By a vote of 55-0 the state senate voted to override a veto by Gov Blagojevich. He had used his amendatory veto power to make controversial changes to the original reform bill. State Senate President, Emil Jones, called for the vote after prodding by Senator Barack Obama.

Under the new law people worth state contracts of $50,000 or more are prohibited from contributing to the politicians who administer the contracts. The new law will go into effect on January 1st.

The governor says his plan would go farther to prevent pay to play politics.

There is no way to stop pay to play politics in Chicago because that is how it's done, has been done, will always be done. Syrian-born Tony Rezko was found guilty of paying to play politics and Barry's name was in the indictment as one of the politicians who benefitted from Rezko's scheme. Barry had to give back the "alleged funds" that he had no idea about - even though the man in question's son got an internship in Barry's senate office. Pay to play?

Rezko was Barry's first fundraiser. He raised at least $250K for Barry and was one of his campaign finance advisor during Barry's 2004 US Senate race. Barry had to return $159K of Rezko bundled funds. Rezko was found guilty on what that "ethics reform bill" is meant to stop. Absolute hypocrisy. Emil Jones is retiring and who has he given the job to? His son who is no more qualified for the job than Bambi.
