Quote of the day: “Why don’t you just say you love him”

May 12, 2009

Morning Joe. Mika is running the show with bosom buddies Mike Barnicle and Willie Geist. Politico’s Mike Allen is on giving the morning whatever. They get around to mentioning the White House Poetry Slam tonite.

GEIST: What makes a poetry slam rather than a poetry reading?

MIKA: Mike Allen might know.

ALLEN: You know, it’s a fine distinction from a poetry jam…but I think if the president’s there, whatever it is, it’s cool.

MIKA: Wow. Why don’t you just say you love him?

Quote of the day: “I think you should be in cages!”

April 2o, 2009

Morning Joe and Pat Buchanan are venting their disgust with barry’s good old boy routine with Chavez and laughing much to Mika Brzezinski’s (and I’m sure her father’s) distress. She gets in a good one because they’re in Washington.

Coming back from commercial Pat & Joe are laughing.

JOE: We’re the Neanterthal caucus. Why don’t you all talk about how President Obama is the best thing since Candy Corn and Apple Jacks and snow on a Christmas morn. And we’ll just sit her and smile.

MIKA: I think you should be in cages!

Laughter all around except for Mika who reinterated it.

Capehart re: Steele vs barry = "black male jealousy"

March 30, 2009

Michael Steele is at it again. Does the RNC want him to keep hanging himself with his crazy words. RNC Chairman thinks abortion is a "personal choice" - how does this speak to the base? And then there's his kowtowing to a radio host. Now he's "done" with barry because of the myth of barry's bipartisanship. Don't blame him. It's a figment of barry's delusional egomania. Look what happened with barry's attempt at bringing on Judd Gregg.

Anyway Steele was interviewed by CNN's Don Lemon. The two other guys are RNC Chair of Florida Jim Greer and Sirius XM radio host Michelangelo Signorelli.

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lo7TNGhmKpQ]

NewsPoliticsNews

CNN Transcript:

DON LEMON: OK, well, you know, when I asked him, and I want you to comment on this after Michael, I asked him if he had -- he said he's been trying to reach out to the president for years, President Barack Obama, that there is no professional jealousy when it comes of all -- he said there was a Michael Steele before there was a Barack Obama. So he said he's tried to speak to the president, and I asked him about it.

STEELE: Look, I like the president personally, even though I think he has got a little thing about me, that I haven't quite figured out what that is.

DON LEMON: You haven't spoken to him?
STEELE: No.

LEMON: You've reach out?
STEELE: Several times, and I'm done.

LEMON: So there is no bipartisanship going on there?
STEELE: Not, not that I know of.

LEMON: Is there any professional jealousy?
STEELE: Not on my part. What would I be jealous of?

LEMON: He's the president of the United States.

STEELE: I'm chairman of the RNC, so, what's your point? We both have leadership responsibilities and roles. I'm not equating the two. My point is: you are on your track. I'm on my track. You do your thing. I do my thing.

Don Lemon also asked him if he had considered running for president.

STEELE: No. I'm telling you, I'm looking you in the eye honestly and telling you that, without blinking and without hesitation. Straight up.

LEMON also asked him whether he thought he would have secured his party's chairmanship had he been white.

STEELE: Yes. If my qualifications and my capabilities and my ideas were the same, and the only thing that was different was my skin color, yes. Why wouldn't I be?

LEMON: I asked him if Dr. King would be proud of him, or would think that he realized a dream? And he said yes, I think, absolutely he would. Look, we have two black men or African-American men at the pinnacle of political power in this country. He said one was Barack Obama, the other was Michael Steele.

When Steele was on DL Hughley he said:

STEELE: There was a Michael Steele before there was a Barack Obama.

LEMON asked Steele if he felt like he was on the wrong side of history.

STEELE: Is that how that works? So where was all the support for me when I was running for lieutenant governor of Maryland? Where was all of the support for me when I was running for the U.S. Senate as potentially the first black senator from Maryland? I didn't see a whole lot of, you know, being on the right side or the wrong side of history there. So if I looked at it in that context, I would be stunted in my abilities to do anything. I would become frustrated, angry, to the point where I just give up and go away. And that's just not how I do things. So this isn't about being on the right side or the wrong of anything.

What made this all the more interesting is Jonathan Capehart's pronouncement on Morning Joe. Mika and Joe are looking dumbfounded as to why the question was asked all the while knowing it was a black thing. Mika was waiting for Capehart to say something as the only black on the panel and he obliged.

CAPEHART: They're not even on the same level - Micheal Steele and Barack Obama - what the questioner was trying to imply was that there was some, you know, black male jealousy going on between the two.

Mika looks utterly shocked - bad actor and Joe goes off.

JOE: If I had a bell I would ring. Ding! Ding! Ding!

what about barry?

February 10, 2009

Yes, I have gotten off the beaten path. I needed a break from the utter madness that is the obamahoax so I could read, write and watch something 100% true and good. It's a relief from the bot attacks. Makes you wonder why they're still at it considering barry is the president and the Supreme Court knows and doesn't care. Watergate is going to seem like a kid stealing a gumball. The serial botters are for sure official barrybotters as they have all the same "rebuttal" arguments replete with phone numbers to Hawaii and the Supreme Court!

I don't know how many times we have to tell them that our beef is with the media. barry is a fraud and it has been proven over and over on this site and many others. It is fact. It cannot be changed. The media is biased towards barry. It's been proven over and over with polls and examples and the media itself has admitted to it. It is fact. It cannot be changed.

Now it's just a matter of continuing to document, but what's the point? He is a national and international security risk. They counted on it and it worked.

The birth certificate issues are dead. But the weird and wacky facts about his mother are coming to light and so are his "clean" Illinois politics. It cracks me up that came out of barama matthews' mouth. Yo, Chris, give us a shout out. That reminds me I have to get the polls together. Rezko is being reinvestigatged in earnest now that barry is "safe" and blago is handing out subpoenas. Anyone hear barry's top aides have been subpoenaed? Can't imagine a judge allowing barry to be subpoenaed when he has the Supremes in his corner. It will all come out and a see I told you so will mean nothing compared to the rage of the nonobamerized masses.

Anyway. Yes we will be getting back to barry and the media - it's not like they're about to change. chuckie T is in a state of ecstasy lately. His biased reporting didn't have an ulterior motive Mr Chief White House correspondent? And Mika is ready to take over for Morning Hangover Joe.

Why can't just the known COLB be subpoenaed?

February 2, 2009

Some further thoughts re Col Hollister v barry soetoro (original complaint). barry was supposed to submit documents on the 26th and instead they filed a motion to dismiss. The dismissal brief sounds like a bot post with it's condescension and indignation for challenging "that one". I had no idea the law team was just as obamerized and that it would come out in legalese. I shouldn't be surprised by anything anymore.

Is this American or Nazi Germany? barry knew this all going in folks. He is a constitutional and voting rights lawyer.

Anyway, it's always the fact that no one has standing. A plaintiff must have these three to meet the requirement of "standing", without which there is no case. There must be an injury in fact - something already had to have happened, there has to be a causal relationship between the injury and barry's ineligibility and there must be a substantial likelihood that a favorable ruling would redress the issue at hand.

Col Hollister's potential military service is hypothetical so there can be no injury and thus no redress. There must be some harm that comes about directly related to barry's actions and even if there were to be - all of the American People would be harmed - so one individual or group of citizens cannot claim an "injury" when everyone else would suffer the same injury.

Bottom line: It seems no citizen within or outside the military can have standing.

So who does?

Congress.

Remember their lame attempt at Sen McCain's resolution whereby they decreed him a natural born citizen? Good old Claire McCaskill (D-MO), who sold her soul when she lied about barry's snub of Sen Clinton, headed it up with an assist by the Get out of the Damn Race Already Hillary Patrick Leahy (D-VT).

If one had paranoid tendencies, one might think they are all in on the conspiracy. Why would they be so helpful to a republican when they desperately wanted barry to win? So much so, the pundits and DNC and everyone else screamed at Hillary every hour to stop "hurting" barry.

Why would they take away his advantage? To be respectful of a true America hero? Nope. They proved that with their "POW card" comments. How could any American even think those words let alone say them? Another thing Mr President did not stop. And "families were off limits" only after ArcXIX dreamt up his vile rumors and barry's attack dogs had descended on Wasilla.

The only reason they did it was so that it would be a precedent for barry. Why else wouldn't they try to eliminate McCain entirely?

It defies logic, as does everything else barry does, including withholding his long form birth certificate. No court has even suggested that someone not connected to barry's website examine the actual document. It has been taken as FACT by a "factcheck" operation that has connections to NEWSWEEK (even admitted to by jonjon alter) and Annenberg where barry palled around with bill ayers, who couldn't even get into Canada.

And if the COLB is 100% authentic, then why doesn't he release it to the media like he did his Wailing Wall "stolen" note?

The "it's sufficient enough proof" COLB is in the public domain. If it's enough - if that document is all that is needed - and that is what the court is are relying on - then have an independent news source vet it.

It is a "public record" and is being used as a "material witness" in a way, so why can't the public see it?

At the bare minimum - can't those who sued barry actually examine it in the flesh to satisfy the evidence in the case? Just that. Nothing else.

Why haven't the courts ask that it be vetted? If it were to be found to be a forgery - all the rulings they made contingent to it as "proof" have to be thrown out. Then he would have to show the long form as absolute proof in the cases that were based on forged "proof".

That is the way to make barry produce it - not as proof of his eligibility where standing is needed - but as proof to prove the authenticity and legality of the COLB used to dismiss the other cases.

Who cares about the long form - it is clear We The People will be barred access to it and it is clear none of us will ever prove standing until he injuries us and then we'll all be injured so there would be no redress to provide. So let us see the actual "proof of citizenship" he and the Court are using as a basis in part to dismiss the lawsuits.

He doesn't need to send for anything. It is online in as public a domain as there can be. It has been taken as "established proof of his citizenship" - so why can't someone simply sue to prove that the proof is a sound legal document?

Am I missing something here?

Can a case be appealed because the fundamental "proof" has never been sufficiently proven to be "proof" in the first place?

Why haven't the lawyers suing barry been able to just look at it - in hand - and attest to its authenticity?

If something is being used in a court of law as an exhibit, which is then subsequently used to "prove" something that results in the defendant not being sued and the plaintiffs' refusal, aren't the plaintiffs allowed to examine the "exhibit"?

If someone is injured in a car accident and the court dismisses the case because the defendant had a legal license - isn't the Court first responsible to prove said license was in fact legal? And isn't the plaintiff allowed to see the evidence to satisfy the ruling?

Why have only two barry sites looked at it?

More importantly - why isn't the media demanding a copy? Anyone demanding the media to demand it? What's FOX doing?

Why hasn't some hacker hacked into the site like they hacked into Palin's email account? (Not that I would ever advocate such a thing!)

The Philly judge, Hon R Barclay Surrick, when he ruled on Berg v Obama, said he couldn't imagine that barry's birth certificate would be an issue because of the "excessive vetting during what was one of the most hotly contested presidential primary [sic] in living memory".

In other words, the Court was deferring to the media, who in turn has been completely corrupted and have not bothered to vet barry because they've been vetting to the point of destruction barry's oppenents. If they have info (at least one person in the media knows), then somebody's probably writing a book and wants to remain quiet so he can make serious cash when the time comes.

What would be the punishment and who would decree it? He would be able to say, hey, the Supreme Court threw out all the cases...

The media hasn't even held themselves accountable for Iraq. How would they ever own up to this?

They are all are complicit.

Joe Scarborough said he was emailing the other networks to see if they were going to Joe Biden's prediction of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and Mika "Mommy" Brzezinski declared a "Biden attack-free zone" and settled on a dicussion of the more pressing issue concerning national security: the wardrobe. What a stellar job that investigative reporter did. How worthwhile must she feel at the end of the day for investigating credit card receipts and FEC filings. And the FEC isn't going to investigate barry because they don't want to embarrass him? Wasn't Palin embarrassed?

The press has demonstrated they do not know the definition of "Natural Born Citizen" let alone long form birth certificate vs Certification of Live Birth. They have shown no public awareness of the lawsuits and their various nuances - but they can check out how much clothes, hair and makeup costs and they can descend on Wasilla and completely try to ruin a family.

Tabloid jouralism at its finest. Even Barbara Walters and Andrea Mitchell (garbage truck paparazzi stake out in front of Sen Clinton's home) have joined them. Tony Blankley is embarrassed by the media? What has he done except roll merrily, merrily, merrily along and mention the "weird little internet sites"? Most egregious of all, barry has never said a word about newly-elected Minnesota Senator Al Franken's SNL incest "sketch' alleging that Todd Palin was having sex with his daughters and by extension that was his baby.

Change we can believe in!

Pardon my digression.

Why not circumvent the "standing" issue and go after the factcheck COLB itself - by itself. barry's lawyers say that the factcheck COLB is sufficient proof and because of that nothing more is warranted because no one has standing to compel him to provide anything else. Fine.

Has someone, without any conditions or interest other than simple chain of custody of evidence, subpoenaed the actual COLB that is on Factcheck to have it verified as "proof" - since it is being used as "proof" to make court rulings?

Just that. Nothing else. No comparisons to vault copy. No eligibility questions. Just as concerns the authenticity of the COLB itself by itself - that very one - presented as public record and court evidence.

Dr Fukino verified the existence of barry's long form - that it was in compliance with Hawaiian law - but she never verified that factcheck's COLB was derived from the piece of paper she verified. See here.

And what about a challenge to the actual website?

What if factcheck.org was proven to have lied about other "fact checks"?

Wouldn't that be compelling evidence to warrant a recheck of that actual COLB?

Like if they lied on other things - knowingly or not - then the integrity of their factchecking - including barry's COLB - would be brought into question thus requiring independent analysis. Requesting a new one could in no way rectify the decisions that were made referencing or relying on the factcheck COLB as "evidence" of "proof".

And how does factcheck have standing to evaluate barry's COLB and not anyone else?

Quote of the day: "Isn't that what I do?"

January 23, 2009

Morning Joe

Mika "Mommy" Brzezinski cannot decide whether she's the boys' Mommy, equal, co-host, coffee getter, breakfast maker or pretty host with a famous dad. This morning it's breakfast maker.

MIKA: Well, I've got two gentlemen here, I've got to serve them breakfast. Willie Geist and Mark Halperin.

Isn't that what I do?

JOE: Uhmm. You're gonna have to answer that question for yourself.

It doesn't appear that she has.

Later they're about Gov Paterson and Caroline Kennedy and the crazy rumors.

JOE: Mark Halperin, what's a euphemisms for saying one thing in a public statement like that, and then trashing her behind the scenes saying, 'hey, dig through all of her personal garbage'.

MIKA (off camera): Like you should talk!

Then they started in on Gitmo. Joe ranted on about how they can't be released and that Mika can go down there and figure out which ones are innocent and send them to her neighborhood.

MIKA: Either I will go down and do that or you'll go down there and shoot them all.

He continues and she shakes her head rolls her eyes and crosses her arms.

Then comes the politifact.com dude with the "obameter" (a high tech pinocchio's nose) and they discussed barry's stump promises. It's good somebody has the time to follow them all. I'll bet he keeps less than 20%. But he's changed so many times already. The stuff he said in the primaires he changed as soon as he started the general and then the transition...Anyway they have sound effects to go with the categories. "Stalled" came up which sounds like you would imagine and Mika says "Sounds like my car." And the dude said "Yeah, I think that's the idea."

They make fun of her and she says nothing. At least on air. And yet she was happy to pontificate about how Madame Secretary and Gov Palin were not treated in a sexist fashion. She hasn't settled on Caroline Kennedy. Whatever is happening with her is wrong. Doesn't her uncle have any pull left?

Quote of the day: "Harry Reid, put down that crack pipe!"

January 9, 2009

Morning Joe

They are discussing Harry Reid's back off from his statement that no one Blagojevich appoints would be seated no way mister. Whether it was racially motivated when Reid made those alleged statements to Blagojevich about not wanting Jesse Jackson, Jr, Emil Jones or Rep Danny Davis. Or whether it was solely because they would most likely not be re-electable. And then the discussion went to Reid's comments about not working for barry.

JOE: He [Reid] says he doesn't work for Barack Obama.

They all laugh.

JOE: He does work for Barack Obama

MIKA [looks like a gangsta rapper with the chain link around her neck]: Let me check that. Yes, he does.

TAVIS SMILEY: Harry Reid, put down that crack pipe! You don't work for Barack Obama? We're all working for Barack Obama.

No. He works for us since we hired him and we are paying him. But he does not seem to realize that. And Reid is going to have a problem with barry because of his Ivy League education and his short time in the senate. Harry has a big old chip on his shoulder from something. Trying to belong...feeling just as good as....meager beginnings? Because he's overcompensating for something.

That was not the Bill Richardson I knew...

January 5, 2009

It seems there's only room for one corrupt governor in barry's no drama obama rolodex at a time. Blagojevich is doing so well there is no need for other distractions. Richardson lost everything but weight in this election. The funniest Judas moment was when Mika exclaimed: Did ya sleep in that suit!? He looked like a schoolboy with his shirttail untucked being ragged at by Mommy Superior. A must see but I can't find the video anywhere.

Anyway he lost his campaign, he lost his friendship with Clinton supporters, he lost respect for his non-notification of his non-endorsee, he lost his bid for Secretary of State to the non-endorsee and now he lost his appointment...and the governorship?

Why the sudden withdrawal? Could he be indicted before Blagojevich who is still not indicted on any charges? What else would provide the motivation? A little blackmail? Or just another thrown under the bus that was not the Bill Richardson I knew? Are the feds planning a morning wakeup call at his residence? Maybe he could hide out in Hawaii.

Beverly Hills based CDR Financial Products donated some serious cash ($200K) to Richardson's PACs and in a strange coincidence of the cosmos received a lucrative ($1.5M) state contract. So what's new? barry couldn't even pass his own whatever page questionnaire or be any type of federal agent because of his drug use and gee whiz Mrs Cleaver he's going to be POTUS. Only in America is his story possible is right.

CDR: The firm adamantly doesn't practice pay-for-play under any circumstance on any playing field. It is pay for performance, pay for expertise, pay for track record, and pay for merit.

Then there's the crude little pig who likes to giggle while he fondles a life-size cardboard cutout of his boss' opponent and soon to be top Cabinet member. And how was he rewarded for his stellar seriously vetted character? Imagine a Clintonite squeezing the tit of mrs barry and keeping his job.

Back to Richardson. I feel bad that he has been eating so much from the stress. He should have just swallowed his pride and disappointment and stayed in New Mexico. Of course the proobamedia will allow him to withdraw without scrutiny and barry's team of rivals and transition will carry on as smoothly propagandized as ever. Haven't heard "smooth transition" much since that bleeping Eddie bleeping Munster bleeping bleeped that bleeper bleeper barry.

I don't presume to know all that has gone down in this election but this the first time I've heard about Richardson. I know Rezko, the Daley Machine and Patrick Fitzgerald stretched all the way to Las Vegas but I didn't realize it took a detour to New Mexico.

More proof of the proobamedia bias from none other than Politico's MIKE ALLEN:

Everyone knew about this investigation. The President-elect took a chance. The question is why. Did (Obama's) vetters ask enough questions? Did (Richardson) give the right answers?

Did the proobamedia do their job? Nope. He just admitted to it. They knew about it and yet they still don't know about it. Barry did it out of political expedience like everything else. It was the quid pro quo for Richardson cutting short his vacation to sell his soul to save barry. Can't make him Secretary of State but he can give him his own press conference and a Cabinet position that can quickly be filled. The question is what does Richardson have on barry? Either way it's one more clear-cut example of barry's poor judgment, political expedience and proobama media bias.

What is it going to take? SCOTUS?

RICHARDSON: For nearly three decades, I have been honored to serve my state and our nation in Congress, at the U.N., as Secretary of Energy and as governor. So when the President-elect asked me to serve as Secretary of Commerce, I felt a duty to answer the call. I felt that duty particularly because America is facing such extraordinary economic challenges. The Department of Commerce must play an important role in solving them by helping to grow the new jobs and businesses America so badly needs.

It is also because of that sense of urgency about the work of the Commerce Department that I have asked the President-elect not to move forward with my nomination at this time. I do so with great sorrow. But a pending investigation of a company that has done business with New Mexico state government promises to extend for several weeks or, perhaps, even months.

Let me say unequivocally that I and my Administration have acted properly in all matters and that this investigation will bear out that fact.

Why does that matter if he's stepping down? Sounds like a last chance to say something before the one phone call. What is I'm-going-to-clean-up Washington going to pretend then? Do you see why he always qualified it with Washington?

Why isn't the proobamedia questioning why barry didn't do more in Illinois with his superior judgment and pledge to clean up corruption?

RICHARDSON. But I have concluded that the ongoing investigation also would have forced an untenable delay in the confirmation process. Given the gravity of the economic situation the nation is facing, I could not in good conscience ask the President-elect and his Administration to delay for one day the important work that needs to be done.

So, for now, I will remain in the job I love, Governor of New Mexico, and will continue to work every day, with Lieutenant Governor Diane Denish, to make a positive difference in the lives of New Mexicans. I believe she will be a terrific governor in the future. I appreciate the confidence President-elect Obama has shown in me, and value our friendship and working partnership. I told him that I am eager to serve in the future in any way he deems useful. And like all Americans, I pray for his success and the success of our beloved country.

And then the Robert Gibbs everything was done right, the governor assured us, and I assure you barry didn't throw him under the bus because he can't throw blagojevich under one and sure the hell won't mess with Burris.

BARRY: It is with deep regret that I accept Governor Bill Richardson's decision to withdraw his name for nomination as the next Secretary of Commerce. Governor Richardson is an outstanding public servant and would have brought to the job of Commerce Secretary and our economic team great insights accumulated through an extraordinary career in federal and state office. It is a measure of his willingness to put the nation first that he has removed himself as a candidate for the Cabinet in order to avoid any delay in filling this important economic post at this critical time. Although we must move quickly to fill the void left by Governor Richardson's decision, I look forward to his future service to our country and in my administration.

Quote of the day: "Are you black enough to be part of all this?"

December 26, 2008

Morning Joe

Mika is introducing folks and Joe cut in and said John Ridley is here.

JOE: Sometimes he's got a beard - sometimes he doesn't have a beard.

MIKA: He always looks good, Joe.

Ridley smiling.

MIKA: He's always dressed nicely. And he's groomed. You outta take a lesson from him.

JOE: Why don't you just call him articulate. We're going into a territory, John Ridley, that we don't want to go...Mrs Biden.

RIDLEY: Storybook, man. We're looking back on the year - it's ok to bring that back up again.

Mika was referring to Joe's scruffiness and lack of grooming and manners and Joe morphed it into the Biden comments on Obama being clean and bright and articulate.

RIDLEY: Starting in 2009 that might be the question everyone asks: Are you black enough to be part of all this?

Note that Ridley was not a barry fan at the beginning.

[...]

JOE: What do you think we'll be talking about this time next year?

RIDLEY: What a fantastic job Barack Obama has done.

RIDLEY: You have Geraldine Ferraro saying he's just a lucky black man.

JOE: Can you admit one thing? Because Geraldine Ferraro was compared to David Duke for saying that in some ways his race helped him. A lot of people think race helped him...

RIDLEY: But you can also--you look at all the people who were at these rallies saying 'Kill Him'. I mean people yelling 'Kill him, he's a terrorist'.

JOE: Aw, c'mon, John

RIDLEY: Joe, what a second. Did that not happen, Joseph Scarborough?

JOE: Kill him?

RIDLEY: Joe, it happened.

No it absolutely did not.

And how did anything those folks might have said mattered? They were never going to vote for barry.

JOE: I guarantee you Barack Obama had no more people yelling kill him at a rally as I do every time I walk through a democratic rally. Shouting at me. Come on. That's such a cop out.

RIDLEY: Joe, it happened. Joseph.

No it absolutely did not.

Back and forth.

RIDLEY: Listen, just because George Bush got a shoe thrown at him at the end of the year - that means nothing, Joe Scarborough. For many of us race did not take a vacation turning this.

He's comparing an assault on the POTUS by an Arab in Iraq with comments that never happened. How would he feel if it was barry having shoes thrown at him? Would it mean absolutely nothing?

And what are the chances barry would have stayed hidden behind the podium? The Secret Service would have hauled him away...willingly.

HEILEMAN: There was no question it was a plus in driving African American turnout. That was a big deal in a number of states that Obama won that he would never have won without that happening. Places like North Carolina.

Black enough to be part of it?

Black voter turnout increased 2%. That is all. 2% and it went up 1% from 2000-2004. Eight million eligible black voters did not bother to register to vote for the first black POTUS. The black vote did not win barry the presidency. Helped in the primary with the race-baiting but that's it.

RIDLEY: I think Barack Obama will be the most American president we have ever had. From Hawaii, biracial, made himself in Chicago. Went back and became a community organizer and really ran for the people. He's the most American president.

Do they even hear themselves?

Parts of the US are not more patriotic than others?

Really ran for the people?

The most American president we have had is the most ridiculously arrogant comment of this election season...next to the black enough to be part of this.

What has he actually DONE? Absolutely nothing. And why are people expecting this will all of a sudden change?

When is he going to figure out that no one "makes" themselves in Chicago - they pay to get where they are and so did barry. It will eventually come out when Rezko starts talking and connects the dots between blago and barry because they're there.

And Ridley still thinks the "kill him" actually happened. It didn't. It was disproven by the Secret Service as "that's him" and the case in Pennsylvania was made up by the reporter. The Secret Service and other law enforcement had a large presence because of the previous comment and they were surprised to read about it in the paper the next day. And what happened to the reporter? His editor stood behind him. The paper endorsed barry.

It is absolutely reprehensible that barry has not yet set The American People correct. His false hearsay comments were made in the last debate. The last words from both candidates and barry accuses McCain/Palin of inciting crowds to yell death threats.

OBAMA: In which all the public reports indicated were shouting when my name came up things like: 'terrorist' and 'kill him'. and that your running mate didn't mention, didn't stop, didn't say 'Hold on a second, that's kind of out of line'.

"In which all the public reports" is irresponsible and as a lawyer he knows all about hearsay. It is very hard to yell hold on a second to something that was never heard because it was never said. The terrorist comments were directed at Ayers. And how many votes did that win barry?

You want the measure of the Man of Integrity and Transcender of Race and the Great Uniter?

Each of his opponents (plus Mr Bill) left the race racists when none of them started that way. He never spoke out against Rep Lewis' horrifying statements about Sen McCain. And he never apologized to Sen McCain or Gov Palin for lying on national TV to pander for votes.

I have a draft put together somewhere with all the evil things said about Senator Clinton during the campaign that barry never once stood up and objected to. I'll have to post it. Here's something Micheal Graham said about Sen Clinton in 2003:

Anyone listening to Hillary Rodham in her speech last week about patriotism, that screaming, screeching fingernail, I wanted to bludgeon her with a tire iron.

And the outrage?

It's called The Double Standard.

That is the race issue that is still not being discussed and I don't see barry giving a politically speech about it.

What entails a hate crime?

December 22, 2008

Morning Joe

They're discussing barry's pick of Rick Warren and the LGBT outrage.

JOE: When you call people who don't agree with you're a bigot--

MIKA: You're cutting off the conversation.

JOE: If, I disagree with somebody on same sex marriage, then I'm immediately called a bigot. The conversation ends right there.

Do they even listen to themselves? What did we hear from them during the election season? People not voting for barry were bigots. They couldn't get their heads around a black man being president. They weren't voting for another candidate they were automatically voting against barry and therefore bigots.

This exhausts me.

The Double Standard and hierarchy of -isms is alive and well. Racism has it's own rules and wins out over any other type of prejudice. What is "white racism"? Or "reverse racism"? When did racism become color-coded? Sexism, ageism and prejudice against homosexuals are ok in various forms. Women are whiny man-hating, sweatshirt and Birkenstock-wearing feminazis. Ageism is a punchline. And gays are being unreasonable because it's a moral not civil issue.

Human rights are human rights.

And barry can do no wrong. He's bringing people together...he's uniting America...he's the greatest president-elect who hides behind a federal prosecutor when they did nothing wrong.

So why the silence?

It's just another politically expedient decision. What else would it be? barry is most certainly not going to lose the LGBT vote and is pandering to the right. Didn't he used to be the most liberal senator when it suited his needs? Voting 97% time with his party with no dissenting votes of consequence? He is trying to ensure his place in history without having done anything but nominate people and the proobamedia is coronating him as the second coming of Lincoln, FDR, Kennedy and Reagan.

Name one great senator he resembles - a job he has actually had.

Anyone?

Sexual "orientation" is not universally covered as a hate crime whereas race is. Matthew Shepard was savagely murdered 10 years ago and there is still no all-inclusive bill. Since then only 8 states have added sexual orientation. The Matthew Shepard Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007 passed in the Senate 60-39 on September 27, 2007. All Dems yea - plus Coleman, Collins, Gregg, Lugar, Sanders, Smith, Specter, Snowe, Voinivich, Warner. McCain not present. It was eventually dropped mainly because Bush vowed to veto it. barry says it's going to be a priority.

We'll see, won't we?

2006 DOJ Hate crime statistics

12,620 law enforcement agencies participated in the UCR Program's hate crime data collection. Agencies provided 1 to 12 months of data about bias-motivated crime, and of those agencies, 2,105 (16.7%) reported 7,722 incidents. 83.3% of the 12,620 participating agencies reported that no hate crimes occurred in their jurisdictions.

Alabama and Mississippi reported ZERO cases. That's an absolute impossibility.

51.8% racially motivated -- 64.4% anti-black

15.5% sexual orientation -- 98% anti-homosexuals (transsexuals not categorized)

Now consider that only 3% of the population identify themselves as homosexuals. So, from this data, hate crimes against homosexuals are disproportionately high and hate crimes in general are markedly under reported.

And 45 states (+ DC) have statutes covering race, religion, and ethnicity but only 31 of them cover sexual orientation.

The stats speak for themselves and the LGBT community should be allowed to speak. And to be heard. And not referred to as "fascists" like scarborough just did.

==============

You may know about the gruesome torture and murder of Matthew Shepard.

Now consider the case of the white female nurse's aide who hit a homeless black man with her car and then went home and had sex with her boyfriend while the homeless black man bled to death in her garage.

The force of impact impaled him in the windshield - forcing his head and torso inside her vehicle. His right leg was fractured in two places and his left nearly amputated.

It is unclear if she stopped and tried to extricate him. She would have had to pull on his legs.

She drove several miles home, his face inches from hers as she apologized for hitting him and he moaned in pain and pleaded for help. She ignored him. She then pulled into her garage, shut the door and left him there to bleed to death. She didn't know how long it took him to die because she eventually stopped checking on him.

He did not suffer a head injury or any type of internal injuries. He would not have died from his leg injuries. He knew what happened to him and was in severe pain. He begged her for help. She promised she would get him some. She never did - even though she continued to check on him. She did not give him the water he asked for. She did not render any type of first aid even though she was a nurse's aide and knew how to do so. She did nothing to cover him - his pants and underwear were hanging off his leg.

She let him bleed to death, naked from the waist down, impaled in the windshield of her vehicle, with his mangled legs splayed on the hood of her car.

Eventually he knew he was going to die. Alone. He knew help would never come. He knew the people he could hear inside the house weren't going to help him. He knew she had lied to his face each time she came out to see if he was dead yet. He knew he was going to die impaled in the windshield. He knew that his naked body would then have to be disposed of. He knew there was a chance his family would never know how or where he died. He knew he would never again see his son or attend his marriage. He knew he would never see his grandchildren or say goodbye to his family. He knew there was a chance his body would never be found and thus not receive a proper burial. He knew that the women who hit him and allowed him to bleed to death like an animal might never be found. And he knew that she might never be punished for killing him while withholding medical assistance and torturing him with assurances that help was coming.

I don't know how someone can be so evil. What possesses someone to do this to another human being? How could she continue to go out and listen to him beg? How could she walk away? A nurse's aide? Pure evil.

The case was broken after the nurse's aide giggled to her friend: "I hit this black man." And then she went on to say she had sex with her boyfriend while the naked homeless man moaned in agony. She later denied saying it. She said she was afraid to call for help because she was high on alcohol, marijuana and ecstasy.

The woman's attorney, MIKE HEISKILL:

[His client] not the animal or monster the police are portraying her to be. [She is] not this cold inhumane person that we've heard about. I think this is overreaching on the part of the prosecution and the police and, in the end, I believe the law will shake out that this was simply a case of failure to stop and render aid.

Read that again.

Her two male friends - both white - eventually yanked the dead homeless man's body out of the windshield - leaving behind his tissue and hair and a big pool of blood - took him to a local park and dumped him like garbage - still naked.

The coroner said he could have been rescued even after he was inside her garage. He had no other life-threatening injuries. There were no head injuries that would have rendered him unconscious. It took approximately two hours to for him to bleed to death.

Did you hear about this case?

Did you hear Revs Sharpton and Jackson or Johnny Cochran in the news raging about the reckless disregard for human life? That a white woman allowed a black man to die in her garage impaled in her windshield and then threw him away like trash?

No. You didn't. For a very good reason. Change the races on all the players. The woman was black and the man was white. It was not prosecuted as a hate crime. And if the races were reversed it most assuredly would have been.

How can a crime be more heinous? How is what she did not extreme indifference for a human life? Why should there be a difference relative to their skin color?

Her statement to the son of the man she lied to and allowed to die:

MALLARD: I am so sorry, Brandon. I am so sorry for what I have caused your family. And I'm sorry for the pain that I have put my family through.

The victim's son Brandon went on Larry King after the verdict and had this to say:

BIGGS: Well, I believe there is something good in every situation. Positively, it's making me a stronger person. It's going to make me able to speak with other people who are going through a tragedy like this and not just with sympathy but with empathy. But negatively, there are probably too many to even list. He will not be around for the rest of my life and that's -- that's a very sad thing.

CALLER: Brandon, I would like to know how in the world could your family sit back and let your father be homeless?

Sick and heartless. Brandon was 18 at the time and his father had been homeless for approximately 2 1/2 years. His father struggled with bipolar disorder but Brandon had a relationship with him - seeing him at the shelter where he lived.

KING: And what was it like for you and him?

BIGGS: Well, it was great. We did a lot of fun things together. We went shopping. We went fishing. Just had a good time with each other....He would stay in a shelter on Lancaster Avenue in Ft. Worth and he would actually pay rent there. It was kind of a place for people who were down to get back up on their feet. And so, when he told me that he was living there, I would go visit him as much as I could and we would still go do the things that we had always done.

KING: Did he -- was he able to look for work? Was he trying to get his life straightened out?

BIGGS: Yes, he was, Larry.

KING: So, you can say the two of you were very close?

BIGGS: That's right.

Brandon wants to be a pastor. He forgave the woman who allowed his father to suffer and die and be thrown away like garbage. He went to court everyday. He heard the testimony and saw the gruesome pictures. He heard how her accomplices "got rid of the dude". And he forgave her. He was 20 y/o at the time (2003).

BIGGS: The forgiveness, well, it comes because I've been forgiven of so much. And I just -- I can't not forgive other people, no matter how grievous -- no matter how grievous. Life is too short to live with all the anger and the bitterness. It's just too short for that.

She was found guilty and sentenced to 50 years. What would they have done to her in Iran?

Mika, mugged in Washington

Quote of the Day: "I jog to clear my head and keep love in my heart."

December 18, 2008

Morning Joe

BLAGO: I jog to clear my head and keep love in my heart.

JOE: Willie, just for the record, what do you do to keep love in your heart?

WILLIE: I can't discuss that on national television.

JOE: Oh.

WILLIE: We'll get into that later.

MIKA: It's just - I'm uncomfortable.

I wonder what the off-air conversation was. Mika seemed to have a specific idea of what Willie does.

Quote of the day: "Ever get slapped at quarter past six in the morning?"

December 5, 2008
Morning Joe

Willie comments on how much money barry raised: $104 MILLION for a total of $750 MILLION. Mika brings up Karl Rove's article in yesterday's WSJ about how barry basically bought the election. He did. It's just dawning on them? Think of how he outspent Sen Clinton and how close they were. He won 13/14 caucuses and she won the big states even though he was outspending her sometimes 5:1 like in PA and she still beat him by 10 pts. Now ask yourself how much of the financial advantage in the primaries was actually from foreign cash? That's another batch of lawsuit happening. Wonder how many lawsuits have been filed against barry and his campaign? I'll try to find that info in the drafts - I don't think I've posted that yet.

MIKA: You could argue he bought the election.
BARNICLE: He raised it. It's not cheating.
WILLIE shifts to Red Sox fans complain the Yankees buy the World Series.
BARNICLE (Bostonian): Ever get slapped at quarter past six in the morning?
MIKA: Do it! Do it!
He didn't...on camera.

And then barry's biggest lie (as concerns this topic) that has gotten very little press and as above wasn't mentioned is his fund raising was in fact against the rules...the rules of integrity and a signature. barry agreed to go with public financing and then reneged. Loud and clear unequivocal no doubt about it he admitted to it and it cannot be shoved under the rug or spun so it's not brought up. Just a general whoa each time more money pours in.

If there is anyone who does not believe that barry's race was an ADVANTAGE in this election then I hope you live another year because by then the books will have been written - especially by black folks like Shelby Steele - to prove it in black and white.

They haven't been covering it up - they're plain ignorant

December 5, 2008
Morning Joe

Mika actually mentioned that the Supreme Court is meeting to decide whether to hear Donofrio's lawsuit.

[He is suing New Jersey Secretary of State, Nina Wells, alleging that barry was ineligible to be on the ballot because he is not a natural born US citizen. The particulars being in 1961 Kenya was under UK law which barry sr conferred on barry - citizenship being passed down by the father. He also cites barry surrendering whatever US citizenship he had when he lived and went to school in Indonesia because there was no dual citizenship then. Once surrendered, he was no longer considered a natural born citizen and thus ineligible to become president.]

Why isn't the first hurdle in running for president handing over proof that one is a natural born US citizen? These election proceedings have to be completely revamped and standardized between parties and the first thing that needs to go are the caucuses. barry proved that.

BARNICLE: Who filed that lawsuit?

MIKA Oh, come on! Yeah. I know.

BARNICLE: It makes no sense.

MIKA: I'll find out for you, though.

BARNICLE: Stop. Just stop!

MIKA: Some people don't know what to do with their time.

BARNICLE: Stop it.

MIKA: Really.

BARNICLE: Everyone complains how backlogged the courts are.

MIKA: Oh. She sighs. It's a mess!

BARNICLE: And they're entertaining the case. (Puts his hands up palms out like enough already.) Please.

MIKA laughs: That kind of stuff makes you mad. I can understand.

Every single day they sit there and read the papers and yet they have never heard of the lawsuit taking place in their backyard. And even as she reads it she has no idea what it's about but "she'll find out" - which she never did.

So I finally got my answer - they aren't covering it up or ignoring it - they aren't aware because it hasn't been covered in the proobamedia, which it appears they confine themselves to. One google search would have enlightened them. This is the first time I have heard it mentioned in the MSM other than NBC5 here in Chicago - which has no choice because of the open letters to barry in the Tribune.

Now we wait to see what (nothing) comes of it and what the creative reason is this time. Can't see it topping the Anthrax quarantine.

Zinger of the day: "Got your vacation plans set?!"

December 1, 2008
Morning Joe
News You Can't Use

Willie's talking about a study naming the Most Promiscuous Countries. As it turns out UK is #1 followed by Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Australia and then the US. UK? Teeth in the light of day...

MIKA: What? This is all not good.

MARK HALPERIN (He is a homely sort, isn't he? Like a friend invited over to fill a place at the table or a card game.): News Mika can't stomach.

Then Joe asks for the top three and after Willie answers Mika says: Got your vacations plans set?!

BUCHANAN jumps in: He's got his tour lined up!

MIKA: Can't believe it's Joe raising the bar on this conversation!

She occasionally gets a zinger in - albeit in a parallel conversation - while they talk over her. I find this show entertaining because of how Mika gets played and day after day she lets them. Does her husband find this funny, too?
