Peterson arraignment tomorrow, TV before, press conference after

Updated: Drew Peterson posts (5-16)

May 17, 2009

Peterson will be in court tomorrow for his arraignment. Brodsky wants to see if he can get his bond reduced. I they’re going to let him out then the stipulation should be absolutely no press. If his bail is never lowered it’s conceivable he could never see daylight again.

From Peterson’s publicist Glenn Selig:

The following is a media advisory from The Publicity Agency, the PR firm representing Drew Peterson and his legal team:

Immediately following Drew Peterson’s arraignment at the Will County Courthouse on Monday, May 18th, his legal team led by Joel Brodsky will hold a news conference outside the front entrance to the building. Per request of the Chief Judge’s office, please set-up in courtyard away from sidewalks leading into the building.

The hearing is currently scheduled for 9:00 AM local time in Courtroom 405.

Gloria Allred statement re: Christina Raines

Updated: Drew Peterson posts (5-16)

May 16, 2009

Here is Gloria Allred’s statement about her new role representing spokesperson for Drew Peterson’s fiancee, Christina Raines.

Who do you think made the call? And if Drew ever gets out what are the odds Allred will let Raines move back in?

GLORIA ALLRED

Today, I can confirm that I will be representing Chrissy Raines as a spokesperson in the case of People v. Drew Peterson.

Chrissy, age 24, has known Mr. Peterson for many years. This year they became romantically involved and she lived on and off with him for part of this year. She cares for him and believes that he cares for her. They did have plans to marry once the divorce from Stacy Peterson became final.

Chrissy was shocked when Drew was arrested on a charge that he killed Kathleen Savio (his third wife). She takes no position on whether or not he is guilty of that crime or whether or not he had anything to do with the disappearance of his fourth wife Stacy Peterson. That is for the jury to decide. However, her heart goes out to both families who have suffered such a terrible loss.

Chrissy may be a witness in this case. If called as a witness Chrissy plans to tell the truth.

I am in the process of applying to the Illinois Court for permission to represent her in this matter. It will be within the discretion of the Court as to whether or not to admit me for this purpose.

Chrissy has no plans to do any interviews at this time. She wishes to maintain her privacy both at work and at home. Chrissy asks that the press not contact her, since she will not be making any comment, and will simply refer everyone to me. Any such contact with Chrissy will be viewed by me as attempted harassment of a potential witness.

I look forward to working with Chrissy Raines and protecting her rights in this very challenging, emotionally tumultuous, high profile case.

Gloria Allred to act as Christina Raines’ spokesperson

Updated: Drew Peterson posts (5-14)

May 15, 2009

I can’t find out anything about Christina Raines and Gloria Allred. Her website takes a week to get currentIt does appear that Allred will be working as spokesman and that there is a possibility her client Christina Raines may have to testify – but that is clearly way down the road. And how much does “Chrissy” have to say?

On Chicago Breaking News, STEVEN SCHMADEKE writes that Allred will be “representing…as a spokesperson”. She has released a statement but he doesn’t source it so I can’t find a copy of it.

On NBC they have a video running that that has no sound.

BJ LUTZ provides a part? of Allred’s statement. Emphasis added.

Looks like it comes down to publicity. But she'll come in handy if Peterson gets out on bail.

Peterson fiancee has retained Gloria Allred

May 14, 2009

Not sure why but Christina Raines – Drew Peterson’s fiancee – has retained Gloria Allred. Nadya must be pleased.

Does Raines know something about Stacy the way Stacy knew about Kathleen Savio? It would certainly fit the sociopath’s MO. Or is it for her protection? Publicity? Money? It can’t have anything to do with Peterson’s kids.

Allred will be holding a press conference tomorrow. Don’t know the sepcifics.

Drew Peterson reaches all-time low

April 24, 2009

CBS

Drew Peterson is being sued by his murdered 3rd, Kathleen Savio’s family. He went on Good Day Chicago with his lawyer, Joel Brodsky to discuss his side of it and in the process said something he probably wishes he didn’t. When asked what he told Stacy’s children when they ask where mom is he said:

She’s on vacation still and SHE’S NOT COMING BACK.

See link below for the full interview. (and the others for background of the suit). At the end, Jan Jeffcoat asked him why doesn’t he just be a good dad and not date if the relationships aren’t working out. He got angry.

JEFFCOAT: Why not just be a good dad and stop dating?

DREW (angry): Why? Why? Why does dating make me a bad dad?

JEFFCOAT: Ok.

Then she closed the show. The next day he’s on CBS with his two sons to testify essentially about what kind of dad peterson is. It was sickening to watch. The younger son (14) was there under protest. Watch the body language - how he is stuck on the side and Drew is turned away from him. He looks depressed. Watch how he just stares in to the camera as if he knows something. If the kid didn’t want to talk, why was he forced to sit in front of America. What kind of dad forces his kid to go on TV to make him look like a good father?

The older son (16) did everything he could to sell his dad. It really is so very sad. Especially the way his fiance moved in and out. And they know their dad is a suspect - the crime unthinkable - their future uncertain and now the memories of their mother is dredged back up.

Here they are talking with Julie Chen. The worst part is when the son talks about his mother’s death and peterson looks straight ahead - stone-faced.

John Q Kelly the big name lawyer is in studio. He successfully sued OJ for the wrongful deaths of Ronald Goldstein and Nicole Simpson. He says none of the money would go to Savio’s father or sister - it would just be added to Savio’s estate. Peterson thinks the suit is motivated by greed when the money is just being managed for his children the way it should have been after her death.

Chen asked Kelly what would happen if he’s successful:

JOHN Q KELLY: All the assets that should have gone to the children originally, all the marital assets and things like that, would be properly segregated for the children. And Mr. Peterson would be taken to task and labeled for what he had done, causing (Savio’s) death.

Hard things to say with Savio’s children sitting right there.

What would they stand to gain financially?

KELLY: They have no financial interest in the lawsuit whatsoever. It’s only for the estate and Kathleen’s two minor children.

Savio had a handwritten note (legal?) that peterson’s uncle wrote out, which he gave to Drew “to use at his discretion, rather than segregate it to his children.

Chen then talks to the 16 y/o. I’m not including their names.

What does he think about the lawsuit?

16 y/o: I think it’s ridiculous. Because what they’re trying to do, they’re trying to take money from my dad and basically give it back to us. Now, do the math. He’s got everything put into us as it is. So it just doesn’t make sense to me.

What kind of relationship does he have with his mom’s family?

16 y/o: My grandfather, I don’t remember ever even meeting him..and I haven’t seen his aunt in six years. They’ve made no attempt of contacting me. So I haven’t really seen them.

What does he think happened to his mom? [watch dad's face]

16 y/o: Accidents happen all the time. I highly do not believe that my dad had murdered my mom. Because, first off, he wasn’t there, he was with us during that period of time. And I don’t know what else to say. I don’t believe it.

What’s life been like? Remember Drew is the one seeking the media attention - doing things that bring the media to his house.

16 y/o: It’s been crazy, like, with the news media in front of my house all the time. And like, there really hasn’t been much of an impact ever since my mom died, because nothing could be worse than that. But it’s just made my childhood much harder.

And dad possibly implicated?

16 y/o: That’s just making it even worse. I’m seeing a lot of the world and a lot of the people’s true motives.

What does he want to say about his dad? Poignant and sad.

16 y/o: I would say that he’s the greatest dad in the world. Not a lot of people know that. People see the news all the time and what everyone has portrayed him to be. But to our family — no one could ask for a better dad.

Now watch his body language when Chen brings up the alleged fiance. When she asked if Drew is still with her, the 16 y/o’s head goes down and he can’t bear to look at the camera., when Chen mentions marriage. He looks physically wounded. Does he know that his dad had no intention of marrying her? The 14 y/o stares defiantly into the camera. Even Drew puts his head down at one point. Something bad happened. The 16 y/o feels the shame and the younger one, who dad has his back to, is almost daring someone to ask him what went on.

According to Drew none of the children have therapy to deal with their loses and chaotic lives.

Drew admits Christina moved out [April 4th = see link below]. And with prodding he says she’s still his girlfriend. Even he looks down.

Chen finishes with Kelly who said he will probably wait for the results of a grand jury before moving forward. Drew’s lawyer, Joel Brodsky, said he would make a similar motion to th judge.

KELLY: By all accounts these young men loved their mother. Their mother loved them. To see them thrust on national television to talk about her untimely death right now is unsettling, too.

How could a father do this. Now imagine if he actually did murder their mom. These boys are suffering and I hope someone - a teacher or friend sees this and gets them help.

Drew Peterson: “She’s on vacation and she’s not coming back”

April 23, 2009

Not a good day for Drew Peterson. He was on “Good Day Chicago” (FOX) to discuss the wrongful death lawsuit being brought against him by his murdered wife, Kathleen Savio’s family. He thinks it’s just about greed and said his kids would get nothing. Not true. The money would be taken out of Drew’s control and into safekeeping for his children. It would safeguard their futures as Peterson could not access it to use for defense funds. And Savio’s family would get some as well. I don’t know the split.

They discussed his alleged fiance, Christina Raines, who has moved out, and then he talks about “daddy day care” — her 2 kids, Savio’s 2, Stacy’s 2. Finding girls - they send emails to his lawyer and “try to get with him”, Stacy and what he tells the kids, the wrongful death suit = greed. Then they talk about the suit itself, what Stacy’s pastor’s said, the biographer - Derek Armstrong - thinks he had something to do with it, Savio’s attorney, Mr Click, why so many relationships - media’s fault, and ends on dating and being a good dad.

About Raines:

JAN JEFFCOAT: You say now she has since moved out, what happened?

DREW: What happened? We just-I don’t even know what happened. [laughs] She comes she goes.

JEFFCOAT: What do you mean she comes and goes? You guys broke up?

DREW: We break up and we get back together.

About Stacy:

JEFFCOAT: What do you tell your children now. I mean Stacy Peterson been gone for more than a year - what do you tell the two young children you had with her? When they say, ‘where’s mommy’, what do you say?

DREW: She’s on vacation still and SHE’S NOT COMING BACK.

My little girl is starting to ask a lot more questions about it but, uh, but, uh…

JEFFCOAT: Why do you say she’s not coming back?

DREW: I don’t say she’s not coming back. What did I say?

JEFFCOAT: You just said that. You just said, ‘I tell them she’s on vacation and that’s she’s not coming back.

DREW: I didn’t mean to say that. She’s on vacation, and we don’t know when she’s coming back. So I don’t know. My little girl keeps asking when she’s coming bad and I tell her I don’t know.

JEFFCOAT: Must be heartbreaking for you.

DREW: It is. Yeah, it is for me. Without a doubt. But it’s become common place for the kids.

JEFFCOAT: You seem to move around alot and have a lot of different relationships it seems. Why is that?

DREW: The media screwed up a lot of the relationships…they just don’t hold up.

JEFFCOAT: Why not just be a good dad and stop dating?

DREW (angry): Why? Why? Why does dating make me a bad dad?

JEFFCOAT: Ok.

End of interview. His anger was clear. Friday - the next morning he was on CBS with his two sons - the 16 y/o’s message was” he’s the best dad ever.

Drew Peterson: "I'm not making any money"

April 6, 2009

Peterson, 55, was in People Magazine (for the second time) - surfacing like the cockroach he is. His "fiancee" Christina Raines, 24, was pictured as well. I didn't see it.

He claims he has not made any money off his radio interviews, pictures, TV appearances or the two books written about him since he became the only suspect in the 2007 disappearance of his fourth wife STACY PETERSON. The loving mother of two young children, she was 23 at the time of her "disappearance". Peterson alleges she ran away with another man. Since then he was implicated in the murder of his third wife, KATHLEEN SAVIO after her body was exhumed.

He does, however, get free trips to NY and LA, flying first class, hotel paid and even an expense account for meals and whatever. Don't know how much he gets. He lives on a $6,o68 pension from the Bolingbrook Police and finances Raines' life - as well as controlling it. If you watch her interviews, she is afraid of him and actually said it once - Nightline interview with Martin Bashir. Not sure I ever posted that. His true payment is the stoking of his ego with the appearances.

According to Chicago Tribune's ERIKA SLIFE:

PETERSON: It was kind of exciting meeting famous people. It was fun. I'm sorry Kathleen died; it was an accident. Stacy ran off, but that was her

choice. I did my crying. Now it's time to live my life.

It's funny, all these people who are criticizing me are profiting from me. These people are capitalizing. I'm not making any money.

Stacy's family has not been out there - they are letting the police do their investigation and in the process let Peterson hang himself with his words.

PAM BOSCO, Stacy's family spokeswoman:

I think the people who are really out there doing all this stuff are doing it for the quick buck. They don't really care about the outcome. But for us, obviously it was never about the money. It was about the outcome. It was about the truth being told.

Kathleen Savio's niece, MELISSA DOMAN:

Watching all this stuff that Drew has done, it amazes me. He claims that he didn't want to be in the public, this and that, but he does all these things to be in the public eye, and it's comical. It's not amusing. It amazes me.

Scumbag's scumbag lawyer, JOEL BRODSKY, also has no problem taking advantage of the situation. He also signed on as Jesse Jackson Jr's attorney (who figures in Blago's indictment) but I don't know if that still is the case. Jackson has been in hiding. Brodsky on a radio appearance with RANDY MILLER, demanded that an eating establishment that he has ownership in be mentioned in exchange for an interview with Peterson. They are both pigs and I hope that he gets implicated in perjury or tampering with evidence. It's clear that neither him nor Peterson think the body will never be found - Peterson owned an airplane at the time.

Brodsky produced emails proving Miller agreed to it - though Miller said he had no intention of going through with it:

What difference does it make? People do advertising for their businesses all the time. So what? We're out there at their request. I'm not asking to be on TV. I don't ask to be on the radio shows. They're not paying me any money to be on there. It's taking time out of my day. So, like everybody else, I plug something that's important to me.

Reportedly, an end is near in the Savio murder investigation -- the Will County State's Attorney JAMES GLASGOW and Stacy's family had hinted at such. One can only hope. Though his children, Stacy's children and Raines' children will be the ones traumatized by it all. Stacy's children have never had any counseling and are still under the impression that mommy is on vacation. Peterson says the young girl goes over to Stacy's picture and cries. That is a special type of evil that needs to be punished.

I don't think I posted some of the interviews Peterson and Raines (and her father) did. I know I didn't post Thomas Morfey's interview. Morphey being Peterson's brother-in-law who thinks he carried Stacy's body out of the house in a blue barrel that has never been found. He said it was still warm.

Drew Peterson's "fiance" moved out...again

April 5, 2009

Following a pattern it seems, Drew Peterson's "fiance" has moved out again. Let me see if I can get this right.

Alleged fiance, fiance, moved in, engagement was a publicity stunt, dad on Dr Phil, dad ultimatum: him or me, The Early Show filmed as she moved out, moved back in, Nightline, moved out, moved back in, PEOPLE Magazine, moved back out lugging her children with her each time like luggage.

What is this doing to her children? Peterson's children?

This situation is so wrong on many levels.

I heard her and Peterson on Mancow and Cassidy when Peterson challenged Geraldo Rivera to a fistfight. No kidding. Rivera calls him a killer right to his face and Peterson doesn't like it. I have that somewhere in the drafts.

Drew Peterson and his "fiancee" featured in PEOPLE magazine

March 28, 2009

It's out as of yesterday. Press release from Glenn Selig, his publicist and blago's publicist. This is scumbags media rebound from his brother-in-law going on TV saying he think he helped dispose of Stacy's body. I don't think I posted that. I'll go look.

Drew Peterson and his fiancée Christina Raines are featured in this week's PEOPLE magazine that hits newsstands Friday, the PR agency that represents Peterson announced today. The couple was interviewed and posed for a photo session with the popular entertainment and general interest magazine.

"PEOPLE magazine featured Drew Peterson when Stacy disappeared more than a year ago," says Glenn Selig, Peterson's publicist and founder of The Publicity Agency. "The engagement renewed the magazine's interest in Mr. Peterson. For Mr. Peterson, this was an opportunity for PEOPLE readers to see him in a new light."

The only light people want to see him in is in a prison cell.

Drew Peterson appealing disposition of Savio estate

March 12, 2009

Drew Peterson's lawyer, Joel Brodsky filed an appeal to the Illinois Supreme Court challenging the lower court's ruling that Peterson's murdered third wife, Kathleen Savio's estate should be in the hands of her father and sister.

As if he has a chance of winning it since he happens to be the only suspect in her murder. One would think he would shut up and go away. By the time it reaches the Court he may have already been arrested for her murder.

Drew Peterson & fiance on The Today Show (2-13)

February 13, 2009

Drew Peterson and his once moved out - now moved back in finance Christina Raines interviewed by Amy Robach on the Today Show discussing and professing their love for each other. This is the most animated I've seen Raines. Her mood is extremely labile and mostly inappropriate. Their interaction makes my skin crawl. The media is more than happy to have them on which they have to understand is what is leading to all this madness. Raines came out and said so on The Early Show. I have all those videos - I just have to find them in the drafts.

Full Today Show interview - doesn't embed. Snippet of video.

ROBACH: Why would you put yourself in the position of potentially becoming his 5th wife?

RAINES: Well, first I don't believe (voice quiets - yes she does) that he did anything wrong. And I love him. Shrugs. I have a lot of fun with him.

ROBACH: How would you describe the Drew you know vs the Drew that other people have seen portrayed in the media?

RAINES: He's very kind and loving. (Twists up her mouth - lie. Double blink.) Very nice. (She looks at Peterson and giggles.) He makes me laugh.

ROBACH: What makes Chrissy different than wives 1, 2, 3, and 4?

Chrissy looks at him intent to hear his answer.

PETERSON: It's a feeling. I mean she's not an heiress. Laughs. She doesn't have millions I'm after. I mean, she's a simple girl [and vulnerable and one he can manipulate] and she's got a couple kids and all I want is her love.

No he wants to manipulate, dominate, own and then completely destroy.

They live in the same house as Stacy did (and sleep in the same bed Stacy did) and Stacy's pictures are everywhere.

ROBACH: Chrissy is that hard for you - to see her presence everywhere?

Peterson looks at her. She again twists her mouth - she doesn't want to speak the truth. She is extremely immature and her body language is as easy to read as a child's. She looks down to the right, keeping her mouth tightly shut. Drew begins to speak and she deviates her eyes toward him for a second without moving her head. She's afraid to look at him. She knows what is going on. How desperate is this girl for love? This is so abysmally sad. And her children? Stacy's? He is a predator - pure and simple.

PETERSON: It looks like she don't want to answer.

She opens her mouth and raises her right eyebrow for a second - like he'll see.

Now it's about Peterson's love life. This is so gross I don't want to type it. The camera is not on Chrissy during his answers. That would have been very revealing.

ROBACH: How many women have you dated?

PETERSON: A few...a couple...I can't even count. (All the while showing no regard for his 'fiance" sitting next to him.) I've gone out here and there.

ROBACH: They come up to you?

PETERSON: Sometimes. Sure. Ya know. Just being out there...and this--it's funny...women for some silly reason are attracted to that and I can't explain it. I don't understand it.

ROBACH: Attracted to the danger perhaps?

PETERSON: I don't know. See, once people start knowing me and my personality kicks in, I think people are attracted to my personality.

Chrissy comes on camera. She's looking at him with an unvarnished desperation for love. She is waiting to hear whatever it is she wants to hear. When he turns his head to look at her she quickly averts her eyes to the right and then smiles and looks back up. She is entirely under his spell. It is so sad to see - one can only imagine what her father did and didn't do to her. He is a piece of work. (Picture in video.)

PETERSON: So I think Chrissy is attracted to my personality. It is certainly not my good looks.

The most truthful thing he has said yet. They have been holding hands and he brings hers up to his mouth and kisses it. She giggles and looks away. Yuk.

Robach then asks Chrissy if she was attracted to the dangerousness of Peterson.

RAINES: She laughs. No. I've known him from before and he has always (shaking her head -- no he hasn't) been nice to me. So.. She shrugs and bites her lips.

ROBACH: You've known him from before - you've known him when he was still married to Stacy?

Same patterns as Stacy who he was going out with as a 17 y/o while peterson was still married to Kathleen Savio. Reportedly, Raines met Peterson in 2003 at a Laundromat when he was dating Stacy and Stacy said she was doing her father's laundry. Peterson already had his next victim planned out before he even married Stacy. This man is true evil. I would not be surprised if Raines' father does something to Peterson. There's a reason why Chrissy was attracted to Drew - she is familiar with his type.

RAINES: Yes.

ROBACH: So when all of this news broke, what did you think?

The camera stays on Raines. She has her mouth tightly shut and then she displays a completely inappropriate affect when she talks about Stacy's "disappearance", which shows she has no grasp of the seriousness of the situation. Note also she does not even mention Stacy's name or show any concern for her welfare - the woman who preceded her in scumbag's bed.

RAINES: I felt bad for him. Laughing. I felt like she was kidnapped or something. (She shrugs and raises her eyebrows.) But that's it. (She shakes her head.) I didn't (eyes widen - alarm) think that he did (eyes widen) anything to her.

Robach asks her what if he is guilty? Camera angle switches and shows Drew looking at her.

RAINES: I'm running the other way.

She laughs and so does Drew.

I'm just joking. (No she isn't.) I just don't believe it. Shrugs. I don't believe it.

She doesn't want to believe it because then what does she have?

ROBACH: Why are you so sure?

RAINES puts her head down, puts her lip together and tries to think of an answer. She's never even considered the question and it appears no one has ever asked her for an answer. She smiles and looks up at Robach. She then leans away (most telling) from drew and lifts up her left shoulder as protection. Her voice goes up like a child: I don't believe he'll hurt anyone. She smiles, shrugs looks down and makes another movement with her lips.

ROBACH: What about drew makes you believe that What have you seen? What have you heard from him that makes you believe that?

RAINES: He's nice. (So was Ted Bundy - charming even.) He has a good heart. Blinks. Very caring.

Her mouth drops - very sad, almost fearful look. (He has already hurt her.)

She says quietly, while shaking her head: I don't think - she looks at him quickly - he will ever hurt me (like he did the others) or anyone else.

ROBACH: Do you have anyone who supports your decision to be with Drew?

RAINES back to reality - no hesitation. No.

PETERSON quickly adds: Your mom.

RAINES: Sing-songy with a forced smile: My mom. She's not out there like saying it but...

Her face saddens. She wishes her mother was saying something - was speaking up for her. She blinks slowly.

ROBACH: Anyone else?

RAINES: A quiet somber "no" while peterson laughs.

No. No one else.

ROBACH: What do you say to them?

Interesting how Raines answers this since it was an open question.

RAINES smiles and laughs: That I'm going to be ok. Nothing's going to happen to me.

She stops smiling and closes her lips. Her eyes become very sad, she tsks, widens her eyes, raises her eyebrows (alarm) and shrugs.

Resigned: That's all I can say. And then she closes her lips.

Very interesting choice of words.

ROBACH: Do they believer you?

RAINES: A quiet: No. She shakes her head. An even quieter: No.

She looks like she is going to cry. She clearly has no one else. What is she going to do to support herself and her 2 children? He knows this and that is why he picks them. He knows no matter what he does they have no alternative and when they try to find one - he takes their lives.

ROBACH: Do you understand why?

RAINES: Such a sad desperation on her face. Her family knows what he's already done to her. Her eyes water and she closes her eyes and says very quietly, "yesss" and then puts her head down and twists her mouth. It's absolutely haunting.

How bad must be the alternative if she has resigned herself to her fate at peterson's hands? Watch this part several times. It's the exact moment she admits that she knows she could die - and that her family knows. The whole set reacts with an eerie silence. They cut away to a voice over.

Look at the picture of Chrissy's father. Is that madness staring into the camera? Absolutely. How horrific was this girl's childhood? Raines of course has professed on many occasions that he fears for his daughter's life. Where was he when she was a child? And why does he never mention his grandchildren?

ROBACH: He called you the devil.

PETERSON: Exactly. Laughs. So, but, it looks like the devil won this round!

He laughs maniacally and looks at Chrissy who smiles but looks at him uncomfortably.

And then - gross - they show her sitting on the couch cuddling with him. This poor girl is so desperate for love. What type of evil beast does this? And what of Stacy's daughter? What is she learning? Her son? peterson's older children?

ROBACH: Do you all have wedding plans?

PETERSON: Whatever she wants.

Remember that Chrissy went before the grand jury between the time she moved out and then moved back in. He better give her exactly what she wants.

ROBACH: What do you want?

RAINES leans away from him, smiles like a child and says, while he laughs: I just want my family.

PETERSON: I know - I'm just making fun.

No he's not. It's not about Chrissy - it's about drew and her father - two men the same age vying to completely destroy a vulnerable child.

ROBACH: Do you think you will have your family with you at your wedding?

There is never going to be a wedding.

RAINES in a sad little voice: I hope so (she shakes her head) but probably not. (Forced smile.) My dad already made it clear that's not going to happen. So...

She closes her lips and looks down.

Robach asks about when the wedding could happen since he is still not divorced from Stacy. It's the reason he hasn't already divorced her.

PETERSON is clearly lying - listen to his tone of voice. I don't know but I'm hoping as soon as possible. (Listen to his previous radio interview.)

ROBACH: Chrissy, what time frame would you put wedding plans in?

RAINES: She has her head down staring beyond. She twists her lips - her most obvious *tell*. It takes a full five seconds to answer. She looks up and shifts away from Peterson in her chair, raises her eyebrows and shrugs: June or July?

It's clear she knows it will never happen. She knows it's a charade. The question is what did he promise her? Or what did her father threaten to do to her? And what has happened to her "stalker" ex boyfriend Mike?

ROBACH; Have you all talked about having children together?

Raines gets an immediate look of absolute joy on her face. The promise? He looks at her and sees her smile and says flatly.

PETERSON: No, I think we have enough children. Between us we have eight, and a grandchild coming, so I think that is enough.

He smile goes to her mask of sadness. She looks off in the distance as if her dreams have already been shattered before the interview was even over. I feel such violence toward this man. This girl has the sophistication of a 14 y/o and he is an evil sociopath. Why can't someone stop him before this girl is completely broken? How is she able to parent her own children?

ROBACH brings up the disparity in their ages and asks: Chrissy, do you want more kids? (She has two)

RAINES: One more.

Peterson looks at Robach. Not happening.

RAINES: She leans away from him and looks at him and says in a dreamy voice, maybe one more?

He looks at her and says nothing. There's an uncomfortable silence. She looks down. The camera is on her while Robach mentions how she has sacrificed her friends and families and then asks her what she wants out of the relationship.

RAINES smiles, leans away from her and puts her head down. She looks up and with her real eyes says in a child's voice: A family.

Her truth. She is a hurting teenage girl who is looking for a father and instead is trapped in a lion's den with Satan incarnate.

What will Stacy's children think when they see this videotape? The jury?

There is a very uncomfortable silence. scumbag doesn't even say a word. He isn't even looking at her. Robach asks: Is Drew family?

RAINES: A quiet wistful: Yes.

It is very quiet on the set. She blinks and then looks at him expecting some type of affection - something. She makes brief eye contact and looks down - she didn't see what she wanted to see - and holds very still. scumbag doesn't say a single word and looks away. She then looks away. Eight seconds of silence. They cut away.

End of interview.

I would like to meet up with this beast in an alley and acquaint myself with a pair of castration scissors. Probably just need a nail clipper or a tweezers. Robach mentions that they said it was not a publicity stunt but that scumbag said he would be willing to do a reality show (How much does he care for Stacy's children?), a movie, a book deal - whatever so he could tell his story and put it away for "his" children. They are never Stacy's children.

When is someone going to intervene? And what is it going to take? Stacy's children still think she is on vacation and scumbag said his daughter got very upset when Raines moved out. Why is that shocking? Who is going to speak for those children? And who is going to get them some therapy before Raines moves out again?

Drew Peterson on Mancow & Cassidy Radio Show

February 5, 2009

Drew Peterson has absolutely no shame. This is a radio interview he did the day after Christina Raines' interview on CBS. I have to find it in the drafts. I knew this wasn't going to go away. It's gone beyond disgusting to grotesque. Think of what is going on with Stacy's children. Who is looking out for them?

He was on the Mancow & Cassidy Radio Show WLS 890 Chicago.

He says she asked him to get married 3-4 times and that a ring was given. This is in direct opposition to his previous interviews.

Drew Peterson and Christina Raines to be on The Today Show

February 11, 2009

This is disgusting. Who is looking out for Stacy's children? Christina Raines' father never mentions his grandchildren - just his daughter. Official press release. Selig is blagojevich's publicist.

PR News Channel:

Peterson and Christina Raines will appear together for the first time for an interview on NBC's 'Today' show to set the record straight on their relationship, says Glenn Selig, Peterson's publicist.

"There has been a lot of misinformation and confusion that played out on national television," says Selig. "Drew tried to shield Christina from the media spotlight but when they broke up for a short time she did a live interview and it didn't go well."

After questioning from Julie Chen on CBS' 'The Early Show,' Raines said that the engagement was a stunt. Raines then recanted the statement later that same day saying she never meant to say that.

Despite facing intense pressures from Raines' family, the couple has reunited. Raines and her two children moved back in with Peterson on Tuesday afternoon. They are still engaged.

On NBC's 'Today,' the couple will set the record straight, explain why Christiana said what she did on the Early Show, and why she decided to move back in with Drew. Raines will also address those who worry about her being with a man who is accused in the disappearance of his current wife, Stacy, and implicated in the death of his third wife.

Peterson denies involvement in both cases and has not been charged.

This first joint interview with Peterson and Raines was taped inside Peterson's Bolingbrook home and is scheduled to air Friday on 'Today.'

Drew Peterson "fiance" has moved back in

February 11, 2009

Yes. The Drew Peterson madness continues.

Alleged fiance, fiance, engagement was all a publicity stunt, moved out, Dr Phil, The Early Show and now, just in time for Valentine's Day, she's moved in again. Problem is between the time she moved out and moved back in - she went before the Grand Jury. This is not even close to being funny.

Don't have time now but will find the old drafts and post them. God help those children.

Peterson's lawyer, Joel Brodsky on the "engagement"

February 3, 2009

Drew Peterson's alleged fiance, Christina Raines, who had moved in with him, has woken up and is fighting back. Where else but the media? She was on The Early Show yesterday alleging that the "engagement" was a media stunt. Well, the public knew. He alleged he was being stalked, then he said another message was left on Brodsky's tape about a Stacy sighting, a TV interview in his house for Stacy's birthday - which he did not celebrate and then his appearance on Nightline. It's too bad she had to be embarrassed on Nightline to see it and she moved out. I see I haven't posted his Nightline appearance and other things. Will try to find them.

Here's the statement from scumbag peterson's lawyer, Joel Brodsky, who happens to be representing Jesse Jackson, Jr. (Unless he's changed lawyers.) And the statement is from the same agency that is representing Blagojevich, who is out on his blago media blitz part 2.

PRNEWSCHANNEL:

BRODSKY: t's very unfortunate that Ernie Raines has dragged his daughter Christina Raines before the cameras and turned her into a Jerry Springer-esque media figure.

And peterson? He's Jerry Springer and Jerry's audience all in one.

Mr. Peterson's engagement to Christina was not a publicity stunt. However, it appears that their recent breakup is a publicity grab orchestrated by Christina’s father, Ernie Raines. "It is Ernie Raines who put his daughter on national television. It is Ernie Raines who brought the cameras along when he went to help Christina move out. It is Ernie Raines who cried on 'Dr. Phil' about his daughter. It is Ernie Raines who threatened to drive his car through Mr. Peterson's house. If there's any publicity stunt going on, it's being organized by Ernie Raines.

More power to Mr Raines - but what took him so long? And has he looked inward to see why his daughter is hanging out and moved in with a man his age? And who is looking out for those children with all these media appearances?

On the other hand, Mr. Peterson never put Christina on TV and always tried to protect her and her children against media intrusion. He never put her on television, never made her talk to the media, and did not even allow her picture to be taken for the papers.

Unlike her father, Mr. Peterson tried to keep Christina out of the news.

We vehemently deny that the engagement was a publicity stunt orchestrated by me. The undisputed facts are that Christina asked Drew to marry her multiple times; that Drew asked Christina to marry him once; Christina accepted and a ring was given; she moved into Drew’s house with her children; and they bought furniture together. This was an engagement.

They bought a bunk bed for the kids. And on his radio appearance peterson laughed how he hasn't given her a ring "not as of yet" and "we'll see how it goes" and "we'll cross this bridge when the time comes". And when he was asked if he asked "Chrissy" to get married - he laughed and said that "she asked him and then he asked her". And that they "basically agreed that down the road we will get together and get married." And when will that be? "We'll have to see how life holds out. No definite plans or any dates set or anything." Listen to his tone - he laughs and ridicules her like he did on Nightline. He is a scumbag of the lowest order and needs to be locked up with the sociopaths he used to arrest. I bet the Bolingbrook PD is ready to take him out to the firing range...

peterson: we didn't celebrate Stacy's birthday

January 25, 2009

Peterson needed his fix. barry, Burris and blagojevich have overshadowed him so out he crawled out from his cave to demand his 15 seconds. First the engagement, then the stalking, then the moving in and now - with his fiance living in his house - he lets ABC's Jim Avila into his house to talk about Stacy. What's next? Nightline.

PETERSON: I think of the happier times all the time, some good memories. But it's kind of painful, so I don't really spend a lot of time walking down memory lane.

And then he mentions affairs she had? How could she possibly do that with him following her everywhere?

PETERSON: She left for somebody else, and there's been several affairs discovered. So yeah, I'm pretty mad.

And then there's another mysterious anonymous caller reporting a sighting on his lawyer's answering machine. It' so predictable. This time she was in Peoria.

CALLER: I'd just like you to know I did see Stacy again on January second.

What kind of wording is that? Look at each word. Doesn't make sense.

How did they celebrate Stacy's 24th birthday with fiance #5 in the house and while Stacy's family and friends held a vigil?

PETERSON: We didn't celebrate. We kind of like didn't want to remind the children that she was gone.

He told them initially that mommy is on vacation and it appears he has never updated or explained it any further. He said they don't need counseling.

PETERSON: It's a little harder on the little girl. You know once in a while she'll ask, you know, 'I want my mommy or where's mommy.' And that's hard."

And then there's the predictable narcissistic delusional madness.

PETERSON: I'm a celebrity everywhere in the world. I find it totally strange. I'll be out somewhere, and I'll get phone numbers put in my hand.

This man has to be stopped. Has he called any?

PETERSON: I'm keeping my options open.

And where was the fiance when he said that?

There is no engagement. Poor girl was a media pawn and her children are the ones who are suffering.

Stacy Peterson

January 19, 2009

Really sweet post (6-22-08) on Stacy Peterson from the standpoint of her as a missing mother. Worth a read after hearing the lecher and alleged murderer drew peterson talk about the "harmonious bliss in the Peterson home". He is a textbook narcisisstic sociopath who preys on young impressionable, vulnerable women. He needs to be stopped before he does something else to Raines or the children.
