Bet this is another thing barry was "stunned" to learn. Why isn't anyone going after barry and his Cabinet about the financial crisis and their role in it? What is it going to take?

After serving as an advisor to Bill Clinton, in 1998 Emanuel resigned from his position in the Clinton administration and became an investment banker at Wasserstein Perella (now Dresdner Kleinwort), where he worked until 2002. In 1999, he became a managing director at the firm’s Chicago office. Emanuel made $16.2 million in his two-and-a-half-year stint as a banker, according to Congressional disclosures. At Wasserstein Perella, he worked on eight deals, including the acquisition by Commonwealth Edison of Peco Energy and the purchase by GTCR Golder Rauner of the SecurityLink home security unit from SBC Communications.

Axelrod is a lobbyist for ComEd but in Illinois he doesn't have to register. barry pal, Bill Ayers' dad was CEO of ComEd. Frank Clark is the present chairman and CEO of ComEd, (part of Chicago-based Exelon Corp) and raised $200K besides a personal donation of $2K. Exelon employees donated $247,413 for presidential race and $270K for his state senate campaign.

Emanuel was named to the Board of Directors for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation ("Freddie Mac") by then President Bill Clinton in 2000. His position earned him at least $320,000, including later stock sales. He was not assigned to any of the board's working committees, and the Board met no more than six times per year.

Keep this in mind the next time you hear him talking about the economy, foreclosures and Wall Street and bankers' greed.

During his time on the board, Freddie Mac was plagued with scandals involving campaign contributions and accounting irregularities. The Obama Administration rejected a request under the Freedom of Information Act to review Freddie Mac board minutes and correspondence during Emanuel's time as a director.

How convenient. Another example of barry's transparency.

The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO) later accused the board of having "failed in its duty to follow up on matters brought to its attention." Emanuel resigned from the board in 2001 when he ran for Congress.

The damage was already done.

In January, 2003 he was named to the Financial Services Committee, and sat on the subcommittee that oversaw Freddie Mac. A few months later, Freddie Mac Chief Executive Officer Leland Brendsel was forced out, and the committee and subcommittee commenced hearings lasting for more than a year. Emanuel skipped every hearing allegedly for reasons of avoiding any appearance of favoritism, impropriety, or conflict of interest.

The same place a group of six Muslims living in the area plotted to attack. See here. Quite a parallel between bin laden, al Qaeda and Ayers' band of cowards. He did not pay the price for what he did - his case was mysteriously thrown out because of prosecutorial misconduct associated with illegal wiretaps. Maybe that's why barry changed his mind. His father being a rich and powerful: chairman and chief executive officer of Commonwealth Edison, chairman of Northwestern University [Dohrn teaches at Northwestern Law School] and of the Chicago Symphony.

(6-2-08) According to NEWSWEEK'S MICHEAL ISIKOFF (emphasis added), David Axelrod, barry's chief strategist was (still is?) Senior Partner at AKS Public Strategies (located in the same office from which he directs barry's campaign), a consulting firm that was basically trying to scam the public into a pay hike for Commonwealth Edison by pretending to be a consumer group warning of an energy crisis, all the while being paid by Commonwealth Edison. He says he's not a lobbyist because he never denied where the money came from and never worked in Washington - he didn't need to register as a lobbyist in Illinois.

Last year, [even as he managed barry's campaign - barry saying he doesn't accept money from Lobbyists] ASK last year proposed a similar "political campaign style approach" to help Illinois hospitals block a state proposal that would have forced them to provide more medical care to the indigent. One part of its plan: create a "grassroots" group of medical experts "capable of contacting policymakers to advocate for our position," according to a copy of the proposal. (ASK didn't get the contract.) Public-interest watchdogs say these grassroots campaigns are state of the art in the lobbying world.

His corporate clients do have business in the capital. One of them, Exelon, lobbied Obama two years ago on a nuclear bill; the firm's executives and employees have also been a top source of cash for Obama's campaign, contributing $236,211. Axelrod says he's never talked to Obama about Exelon matters. "I'm not going to public officials with bundles of money on behalf of a corporate client."

Always a fine line with barry and his operatives. Lie, lie, lie ("refine the truth" - as in what the definition of *is* is) and get away with whatever you can until someone catches you and then: I didn't know. You can see where the "grassroots" came from. Plenty of practice. Recall that Mrs barry worked at University of Chicago Hospital with the main responsibility of finding ways to turn uninsured patients away from the ER to save the hospital money.

There are even more connections through Mayor Daley, Valerie Jarett, Mrs barry, Rezko and Arab businessmen but I'm too tired to dig it up from the other older blogs. And as if it even matters. It never mattered. Ever. barry was going to be president from the moment he spoke at the 2004 convention and it's clear why he got that job.

I wonder how much chris 'barama' matthews knows about any of this? barry stumps on lobbyists and corrupt Washington and how he won't deal with them even as his chief strategy is one - but it's ok because he works outside of Washington. That's why he always talk about corruption "in Washington". He has an out. He wasn't talking about corruption in Illinois. Why hasn't anyone wondered where barry's Gov Rod Blagojevich has been? I mean even the non-followers.

I have no doubt I could take matthews on as far as facts but I wouldn't be able to be near him or recognize him worthy of dialogue. Not that he is ever polite enough to allow it. He is a sexist pig. Period. As unrepentant a misogynist as Ayers is terrorist. But he's quick to attack any and all non barrybots--including a non-suspecting woman, ruining her career over something he has no knowledge of--saying Ayers is all about 40 years ago and they were just on an education board. He doesn't know anything. By choice or by design? That is wrong on many levels.

One thing is for certain: BARRY IS A FRAUD AND HIS CAMPAIGN WILL GO DOWN AS THE MOST VICIOUS AND CORRUPT IN HISTORY - AS WILL THE MSM. And I hope I will live long enough to see it. It will have made these months worth something, especially since it appears I have been abandoned by my fellow citizens. I don't blame them.

So, would Mr. Ayers do it all again, he is asked? ''I don't want to discount the possibility."

Ayers' lovely wife, Bernadette Dohrn, once the Most Wanted Woman in America pled guilty and received three years probation and a $1500 fine. Here's a list of the acts of terrorism they got away with.

DOHRN: Dig it! Manson killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, then they shoved a fork into a victim's stomach.

Now they are cowardly sellouts living like any other elite capitalist professors in Hyde Park, three blocks from Mr & Mrs barry. Just a guy in the neighborhood. And Axelrod? Just another corrupt Chicago operator. And Blagojevich? Just another corrupt Illinois governor. And Barry? Just the next POTUS despite a million things that would have long since disqualified him if he were 100% white or a woman of any sort.
