Messiah complex: a state in which the individual believes themselves to be or destined to become - the savior of the particular field, a group, an event, a time period, or in an extreme scenario, the world.
OBAMESSIAH: "I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal!!!
Messiah complex: This could also be the state in which a group views an individual as a messiah, such as followers of a cult leader. The cult leader doesn't have to claim to be a messiah, but if he is treated as such by his followers, it can also be classified as such.

Messiah complex: People with a messiah complex tend to see themselves as saviors to a specific group of people or a specific field, making claims of their own glory, or claiming a self-awareness of their own gift and how that gift can affect a group of people or a field of life.
OBAMESSIAH: "We've got a righteous wind at our backs!"

Messiah complex: In the most extreme cases, people with a messiah complex may see themselves as spiritual/religious messiahs with transcendent powers who are destined to save the world.
OBAMESSIAH: "We are the ones we've been waiting for."
OBAMESSIAH: "We are the change that we seek!"
OBAMESSIAH: "...this is our moment. If you will organize with me, if you fight with me... we will change this country and we will CHANGE THE WORLD!"
This makes me angry. barry keeps comparing and modeling himself after President Abraham Lincoln, who was a man of character, conviction and great deeds. Someone who made his own decisions, acted on his words and stood by them. barry has done none of the sort. He imagines himself the second coming of Lincoln only barry is bringing The American People one step closer to a More Perfect Union through his postracial, post partisan propaganda. barry was not a great Illinois senator. He was not a great US Senator and yet he is going to be a great president?
What, folks, do you base this on? Benefit of the doubt?
barry’s attempt at Lincoln:
1-Announced his presidential bid on the steps of the State Capitol in Springfield.
2-He returned to announce his VP pick.
3-Team of rivals BS.
4-He plans to take the train from Philly to Washington before his swearing in. How else was Lincoln going to get there? Official campaign jet replete with campaign logo?
5-And will be sworn in on the Bible Lincoln was.
For $500, will he be outfitted in a top hat? Even it couldn’t house his massive ego. How is this man ever going to govern?
During his stumping he stopped at every historic presidential place he could - including his Philly Whistle Stop tour and his going to Indianapolis on the anniversary of MLK’s assassination. He’s making the movie version live. It’s presumptious and grossly messianic - just like everything else - and the proobamedia loves it. He was foiled only in Germany when they refused to let him speak at the wall.
BARRY: Believe me, I will never forget you know now. Everybody around me is laughing. I've called a lot of people - nobody's hung up once. And certainly no one has hung up on me twice.
Bet a lot of those people around him have been waiting a very long to laugh at him to his face. And then came the predictable irrational obamessiah outrage - angry constituents called to accuse her of hanging up on him on purpose. Wonder why they thought that. And what if she had? She is a Republican and clearly not under his spell.

Me.)barry already had it because you were providing it. What kind of journalistic skills does this man have? He clearly doesn't have any people or body language skills. I used to wonder about folks who get drawn into Nigerian internet and pyramid schemes and cults. Not any longer.
THOMAS: Not with Obama. (He puts his hands over his chest in a pulling in protective fashion. You're not worthy of me.) There was much more self-contained. That he's controlled. It's kind of manipulative and a little cold in a way. It was hard to penetrate his tremendous self-possession. (= EGO = Messiah Complex)
DARIN BRISCOE: ...There's a lot that remains mysterious about him to me. He's a very difficult person to know well....He had to learn, sorta on the fly, that any misstatement he makes anything that he says that could be misconstrued in a negative way was likely to be construed that way by someone.Where? In their notebooks? And after almost two years spent with this man--every day--a lot is still mysterious to him? And yet those bitter bowling alley babes were to trust barry because they heard him saying nothing at a rally? None of the pro-obama media have a clue who barry is because they've crafted his persona for him. And they don't have a clue what he's gonna do because he's done nothing but string them along and they followed happily like little sheep.
THOMAS: He didn't give us a whole lot to work with ("more" hand motion) in a way, generalistically. Uhh, (head down, smacks lips = doubt), you know, what's that going to be like when he's president? Well...he'll stay cool...I think...(Doubtful face). Which is an admirable and necessary quality in presidents (Voice changes - trying to justify.) Presumably, his White House will be less chaotic than Bill Clinton's was. (Eyebrows up = facial shrug = Not sure and hoping he's right.)He is still saying I think..presumably...after they have been following him and writing about him in glowing knowledgeable terms since the beginning. Who believes these people? He's starting to doubt himself. But it's too late. The damage has been done and they are going to be held accountable for what happens...more likely what doesn't happen.
THOMAS: The American People are gonna also want to see a human side to him. And they are willing to cut him a lot of slack in the election 'cuz he had this message of hope and because McCain wasn't so great and they wanted change.Said dismissively - like I fell for it too. I think he has finally realized how he was played. Curious how he phrased that. McCain wasn't so good and so they voted for barry and are willing to give him a break because what other option have they?
THOMAS: But, uh, they're also gonna want to see a real human being inside of obama and he's gonna have to find ways to show that...I think. (Puts head down. Guilty he hasn't seen it.) Uh, and in somebody who's that self contained (shaking his head = he was fooled) it's really hard to know what they are thinking (still shaking) and where they're really going. And (deep frowning = personal worry) I think there's still some question about that. (Nods = certain ending)Now he has questions and doubt? Will he ever feel remorse of guilt in his complicity in promoting pro-obama propaganda? He got barry the win and now he has to cover himself as a citizen and editor for what he doesn't know about barry. It's good to connect the face with the words. His face gives him away...as do howie's and jonjon's and barry's. barry's convinced that his obamerized masses will follow him no matter what he says and they have...still are. Those of us rational beings see right through his empty words and we are still waiting for you to see the light instead of a halo.

When Republicans get aggressive, it's "dirty." When Obama gets aggressive, it's "feisty." Exorteth the One: "I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.Team Obama is so committed to this "face-to-face" shock troop campaign that it is now busing activists from state to state ("Drive for Change!") to target undecided voters — and offering subsidies to volunteers. In advance of Obama's rally in Nevada, California field director Mary Jane Stevenson organized a pilgrimage to boost the crowd numbers with housing incentives: "Face-to-face contact with undecided voters is the single most effective way to grow this movement. No experience is required, and we'll help you make the trip as easily as possible with either housing in Nevada or discounted group rates at an area hotel."
