Now they have Silver Alerts for cognitively impaired seniors like with Alzheimers. It piggybacks the same notification system as Amber Alerts. It's a great idea. And Project Lifesaver has been using wrist bracelets to track wandering or at risk seniors since 1999. They should be required at nursing homes in ambulatory patients with Alzheimers. And why don't they use something similar for newborns? The hospital alarms and safeguards have been beaten.
