Copy of impeached Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich’s 75 page indictment provided by the Chicago Tribune. Blagojevich was indicted on 19 charges of political corruption including: fraud, conspiracy, wire fraud, extortion, attempted extortion, false statements and it racketeering.
Also indicted: Rod’s brother, Rob Blagojevich, two former Blago chiefs of staff: John Harris and lobbyist Lon Monk, Blago fundraiser and long time friend, Christopher Kelly and long time Springfield insider, William Cellini.
Christopher Kelly (who has his own set of separate problems) was indicted on only one count of wire fraud and is cooperating with the Feds. Bad news for Blagojevich.
