Octuplets: Did Nadya get paid to be implanted?

This is another lost post - probably the most interesting of all, which is why I am reposting it. I haven’t heard anything more about it. And it could be complete fiction. But it is a curious assertion that Nadya may have been paid to be implanted. It’s possible. She was a one-woman stat machine for the doctor and her 100% (according to Nadya) success rate raised his abysmal stats.

This interview was given on January 31st before anyone knew who Nadya was or how she was financing her fertility treatments and children. This woman had no reason to lie and it’s clearly not something she would forget or misunderstand. Still there is no way of knowing. It also raises the question of whether Nadya really did just want “one more”.

Does anyone know the truth about Nadya? The grandmother didn’t even know she got the $168K disability payments while she was churning out babies with a disabled back. And if it is true that she was paid it is a Dr Mengele type of wrongness.

RAQUEL MARIA DILLON:

Yolanda Garcia, 49, of Whittier, said she helped care for Nadya Suleman’s autistic son three years ago.

“From what I could tell back then, she was pretty happy with herself, saying she liked having kids and she wanted 12 kids in all,” Garcia told the Long Beach Press-Telegram.

“She told me that all of her kids were through in vitro, and I said ‘Gosh, how can you afford that and go to school at the same time?’” she added. “And she said it’s because she got paid for it.

Garcia said she did not ask for details.
