Taylor Hicks: Seven Mile Breakdown

May 10, 2009

I’ve had enough evil for now. Time for a little entertainment. Here’s Taylor Hicks new song “Seven Mile Breakdown” off his second album “The Distance” over which he had complete creative control.

Presently he is touring with Grease (Teen Angel) and while he was performing in San Francisco he sang the National Anthem for the Giants’ Home Opening. Captain Sullenberger threw out the ceremonial first pitch with the number 155 on the back of his Giants jersey. Nice way to remind everyone how many souls and how many families he saved from tragedy that day. Both did themselves proud.

While touring with Grease he is still doing live concerts. He, like Fantasia and Dave Matthews, are best appreciated Live on stage.

Enjoy. If this isn’t your type of music there’s Adam Lambert, Susan Boyle, Josh Groban, Celine Dion, Luciano Pavarotti and the incomparable Andrea Bocelli. He and Susan Boyle must do a duet. They both have the same deliveru: they share their gifts completely and without pretense and when they are finished they enjoy the applause in a childlike way.
