Peterson: “I guess I should have returned those library books”

Smug as always Peterson joked as he was taken away – as reported by the Herald News:

I guess I should have returned those library books.

Peterson did not seem to think it was going to go down today even as the press descended on his house. He evidently shouted out the second-floor:

What are you guys doing here? I promise you, nothing’s going to happen today.

Peterson’s attorney Joel Brodksy was conveniently on his way to New York when Peterson was arrested – referred to Glenn Selig, Peterson’s publicist.

Andrew Abood, a Peterson attorney I’ve never heard of:

Drew has steadfastly maintained his innocence regarding the rumor and innuendo that has circulated regarding the unfortunate death of Kathleen. Although he is disappointed with the decision of the state, he looks forward to the opportunity to once and for all prove his innocence in a court of law.

As for the offer for Peterson to star on HBO’S “Cathouse”?

From FOX:

An HBO spokeswoman said the network would sooner cancel the show than allow Peterson to appear on it.
