Matthews vs Rep Campbell re: Rep Posey’s bill (video)
barry minions are going after the “birthers” who are co-sponsors with Rep Bill Posey (R-FL) in the barry soetoro birth certificate bill. Well, that’s how they think of it. It has nothing to do with barry himself (this time) but who is making it about barry?
Matthews and all the birther haters.
Do you think they have a clue how they are keeping the issue in the news? How they are giving birthers free advertising?
And if it’s a bunch of whacked out conspiracist racists – why are they even giving it attention?
The mere fact they are shows that it has some merit and each time they go off more people look into the issue and when they do they realize barry has not ever produced his birth certificate and the nutjobs get more mindless followers.
Rep Posey (R-FL) introduced the bill on March 12, 2009 and the MSM has just decided to go after the co-sponsors? Matthews talks about it like Posey just proposed it. The Bill is aimed at the future. It has nothing to do with barry. It is meant to prevent future barry’s and is meant to keep Roger Caleros off the ballots.
To amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to require the principal campaign committee of a candidate for election to the office of President to include with the committee’s statement of organization a copy of the candidate’s birth certificate, together with such other documentation as may be necessary to establish that the candidate meets the qualifications for eligibility to the Office of President under the Constitution.
Cosponsors as of July 12th:
Marsha Blackburn (R-TN)
Dan Burton (R-IN)
John Campbell (R-CA)
John Carter (R-TX)
John Culberson (R-TX)
Robert Goodlatte (R-VA)
Kenny Marchant (R-TX)
Randy Neugebauer (R-TX)
Ted Poe (R-TX)
It was referred to the House Committee: Chair Robert Brady (D-PA); Ranking Member, Daniel Lungren (R-CA), Michael Capuano (D-MA), Artur Davis (D-AL), Susan Davis (D-CA), Charles Gonzalez (D-TX), Gregg Harper (R-MS), Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), Kenvin McCarthy (R-CA).
Just a few names to keep an ear out for.
What has been made perfectly clear during this election:
- The FBI does not do routine background checks on candidates
- The Parties do nothing but sign a sheet of paper at the Conventions
- The Secretary of States do nothing to certify the candidate’s eligibility.
- The Electoral College does nothing to certify the candidate’s eligibility.
- The Speaker of the House and Vice President do nothing to certify the candidate’s eligibility.
- And no American citizen – civilian or military – has standing to challenge the candidates’ eligibility.
And the person occupying the office of the presidency knew that going in.
And that’s why Rep Posey introduced the bill.
So the Constitution would be protected and respected and the matter handled before the first vote was cast.
Why would anyone of any party be adverse to that?
So why are they?
