barry on blagojevich (12-9). Take careful note of the "we" changing to "I". He's already separating himself and preparing to throw whomever he needs to under the bus. Gibbs may be ok with that. Valerie Jarrett and Axelrod - no way. barry took only one question and again like 3-3-08 the proobmedia let him get away with it...not much longer. If he continues obamanating on this - something he needs to talk about - they'll be waiting like jackals on Jan 21st. I have a feeling his daily laudatory press conferences have just come to an end.

I don't think Gore signed up for this. Rerun of Mr Bill. He keeps his game face on though.

I know he's talked to the governor, and there are a whole range of names, many of which have surfaced, and I think he has a fondness for a lot of them.

(12-9-08) I was mistaken when I told an interviewer last month that the President-elect has spoken directly to Governor Blagojevich about the Senate vacancy. They did not then or at any time discuss the subject.

He can no longer use his favorite Template 101: That is not what The American People want to hear. He used Template 101: I was mistaken.

Republicans are getting in the act. Why not? What do they have to lose?

Obama’s comments on the matter are insufficient at best. Given the president-elect’s history of supporting Gov Blagojevich, he has a responsibility to speak out and fully address the issue….

President-elect Barack Obama’s carefully parsed and vague statements regarding his own contact and that of his team with Governor Blagojevich are unacceptable. Considering the of the allegations against Governor Blagojevich, the President-elect should immediately disclose any and all communications hs transition team has had with the governor’s office along with Employees International Union (SEIU) officials involved in the matter. Obama’s promise of transparency to the American people is now being tested.

He will not be able to obamanate free of this aka “carefully parsed and vague” and it’s acceptable as long as the proobamedia doesn’t wake up and see they’ve been had. His promise of transparency is just now being tested? What have they been looking at? Might explain why they waited till the end to start looking. He hasn’t yet been transparent and won’t be unless a higher power forces him to. I imagine that will be a question he asks of his new Justice Department appointments and their answer will dictate whether or not they are appointed. Wonder what Joe the Plumber thinks about possible union involvement?

This is a hometown issue relevant to his political and personal career and, of course, Rezko. The Syrian-born operator has survived worse than this and was even named Arab-American businessman of the decade in Illinois. Wonder how much he paid to get that? The proffering of barry’s senate seat pertains directly to him as the ex-Senator and most likely there are some recordings of him and his top aids discussing it. I am personally interested in what Jesse Jr was willing to do to get the seat…whether he further trashed his dad…whether there was a deal when he came out against his dad to save barry. It’s all there - it’s just a matter of how far the pro-obamedia chooses to follow it. Already they’re spinning for him: Blagojevich is a whack job.

Mark Kirk backed up barry much to Norah O’Donnell’s dismay. He wants to know who is senate candidate #5.

BLAGOJEVICH (on tape):We were approached pay-to-play. He raised me $500K. An emissary came. Then the other guy would raise a million if I made candidate #5 a senator.

Milorad gets rudely awakened by the Feds. His response: Is this a joke?

It was a ridiculously staged dramatic arrest. Why the need to wake him up? Why the need for handcuffs? It's not like they didn't know where he was. He has a security detail the Feds could have just called. But no - they needed their 15 minutes. No matter what they think he did - no matter how the rest of the Illinois politicians hate him - he should have been allowed to surrender himself and there's no way they needed handcuffs. It's wrong and most likely got him a juror. He got those workers their money. Mayor Daley didn't. Barry didn't and neither did Patrick Fitzgerald or the feds. it was wrong.

OLBERMANN: Is this guy the stupidest SOB on the planet or the craziest. How in the world did he think in this day when there are such things as wiretaps and videotapes and all the rest that nobody would turn him in and somehow he'd get away with this? That's the part that makes no sense - not the fact that he got caught.

It makes sense alright. He had his one chance and he was capitalizing. He knew he was under investigation - he has been since barry's campaign fundraiser was brought to trial. He had nothing to lose so why not cash in? People outside Chicago just don't get this - nor will they ever. It's business as usual...exposed.

What is Olbermann going to say when barry's part in all this gets exposed?

The day before Blagojevich gets arrested he gives the Feds the ok to tape him...problem is they already have been...sneakilyly. Blagojevich was actually out doing something good for the people. I don't know if it was his words here or the fact that he was out in the public eye railing against Bank of America or because barry's minions were caught on tape - but he got rudely arrested the next morning in a ridiculously staged arrest that would make Lincoln roll over in his grave.

Update straight from Mr Donofrio:

The main stream media should stop saying SCOTUS refused to hear the case. It was distributed for conference on Nov. 19. They had the issue before them for for sixteen days. Yes, they didn't take it to the next level of full briefs and oral argument. But they certainly heard the case and read the issues. The media is failing to acknowledge that. The case and issues were considered. Getting the case to the full Court for such consideration was my goal. I trust the Supreme Court had good reason to deny the application. Despite many attempts to stop their full review, my case was placed on their desks and into their minds. Please remember that. It's important for history to record that.

My application was denied. The Honorable Court chose not to state why.

My case may have suffered from the NJ Appellate Division Judge having incorrectly characterized my original suit as a "motion for leave to appeal" rather than the "direct appeal" that it actually was. On Nov. 21 I filed official Judicial misconduct charges with the NJ Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct, and I updated SCOTUS about that by a letter which is part of SCOTUS Docket as of Nov. 22. The NJ Appellate Divison official case file is fraudulent.

I don't recall if I posted the weird and clearly intentional mess that went on with the lower court and the clerk. Why did they feel the need to mess with it - especially to a well-versed lawyer? It was crazier but not as creative as the anthrax quarantine. I didn't realize the Supreme Court didn't have to give a reason. There's no documentation of their proceedings anywhere then?

Curiosity: Dog envy

Interesting little story courtesy of Jennifer Viegas from Born Animal: dogs feel envy. Friederike Range of the University of Vienna did a very simple study of side-by-side dogs. Started as simple response - reward. Dog put out its paw = treat. Twist: sometimes the dog who put out its paw wasn't rewarded and the other dog given the treat. Reaction: dog snubbed refused to respond to experimenter and looked the other way. Check out the sequence of pictures. Same thing with a set of siblings except the snubbed child would probably cross their arms, stomp their foot and pout.

I don't think there's a chance in hell he was born in Kenya but he may very well have surrendered his citizenship in Indonesia. Whatever the story he has shown himself not to be a man of honor or integrity - he is a coward who hides behind people and waits for others to make things go away. Why he kept Axelrod and attack dog Emanuel.

Verdict on Donofrio: The application for stay addressed to Justice Thomas and referred to the court was denied. Game set and match. No reason given. I sure would have loved to have heard that discussion. I'm sure the word "riot" was spoken. It passed through their hands - the onus is on them - which is a win in itself.

He was talking with Wolf Blitzer about his (12-2) open mic comment that Gov Napolitano, who is unmarried at present, was perfect for the Homeland Security job because she had no family and thus no life. (12-3) he used Template #102. (12-4) #120 and today a combo #111 & #115. All he needed was a full mea culpa (#121) and move on.

RENDELL: What I said about Janet is true. I think she's the gold standard for governors. She works hard, she's dedicated, she's focused. Campbell Brown, who I love, as a person and respect as anewsperson, couldn't have been more wrong. She said that it was somehow sexist or a comment on single women. Let me tell you—If Janet Napolitano was Jim Napolitano and had no family, I would have said the exact same thing.

Fine, if that were true, then why the evolving statements of guilt? That should have been his immediate no further questions needed statement followed by a public apology directly to GovNapolitano - not the nebulous "if...anybody out there". He learned something - he used Alma's first and last name and he said "newsperson". Haha. Endless entertainment.

RENDELL: Wolf, we've gotten really far off field in the way we cover news if that statement which is absolutely 100 percent true is construed as something. I would have said it about man or woman in similar position. It was meant to comment on how tough the job is and how great a choice Janet is.

Fine, then why didn't he just say that. What he said he said in a good ol' boy way. What do these men's wives and daughter say to them? And what do people say to these men's wives and daughters?

Gen Shinseki named Veterans Affairs Secretary

barry has a Sunday press conference to name 4-star Gen. Eric K. Shinseki (retired) to be the next Veterans Affairs Secretary. Why today? It is the 67th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Japanese. Gen Shinseki, of Japanese-American ancestry is the highest ranking Asian American military personnel in US history.

Wounded in Vietnam losing part of his foot

Most notably he spoke out against Rumsfield saying hundreds of thousands of troops would be needed in Iraq to stabilize it. He retired 4 months later and was snubbed because of his outspokeness. He was vindicated when the Surge as barry finally admitted "worked beyond our wildest dreams". Wonder if barry still stands by his position that the Surge was the wrong idea...maybe he's changed it by now.

Shinseki was born in Hawaii in 1942 and is the third Asian to be named to a cabinet position. I wonder if he and his family were sent to an internment camp during WWII, and if so, what his feelings are on the anniversary.

On another note, Ahn "Joseph" Coa (LA-R) beat out indicted incumbent William Jefferson to become the first Vietnamese-American member of Congress. He immigrated to the US from Vietnam in 1975 and although an immigration attorney for "boat people" he has no political experience. Louisiana has a large population of Vietnamese-Americans, especially New Orleans, who have fought hard to rebuild after Katrina. Coa's dad spent seven years in an NVA prison camp and is confined to a wheelchair. I wonder what went through his mind listening to his son make his victory speech. As barry says, nowhere else in the world would this story be possible.

Tom Brokaw tries to get barry to answer a simple question about smoking and barry answers in true obamantor style.

BROKAW: Finally, Mr. President-elect, the White House is a no-smoking zone, and when you were asked about this recently by Barbara Walters, I read it very carefully, you ducked. Have you stopped smoking?

OBAMA: You know, I have, but what I said was that, you know, there are times where I've fallen off the wagon. Well...

BROKAW: Then that means you haven't stopped.

OBAMA: Well, the--fair enough. What I would say is, is that I have done a terrific job under the circumstances of making myself much healthier, and I think that you will not see any violations of these rules in the White House.

And Brokaw fell for it just like Barbara Walters.

He hasn't stopped - he just won't be smoking in the White House - which he can't do anyways. Answer: Yes, he is still smoking. Can you imagine barry speaking through a foreign translator?

I ran across this. It's too much for me to digest but it at least exists. Maybe there are more recent articles. From the Kent Law Review (11-23-05) by SARAH P HERLIHY: "Amending the Natural Born Citizen Requirement: Globalization as the Impetus and the Obstacle"

Herlihy cites Arnold Schwartzenegger as an example and then argues that globalization is not something the Founding Fathers could have imagined. She posits The Constitution discriminates against naturalized citizens which is about as circular as it gets. They were granted citizenship because of The Constitution but after they become one they are discriminated against because of it?

One thing I did find interesting - she quoted a USA Today/CNN poll (Nov 19-21-2004) 31% favored an abolishment of the "natural born" requirement - 67% opposed it. Don't know if they have continued polling.

Read it if interested. I'm sure barry and his minions know all about it. One thing is for sure - the Founding Fathers wanted ABSOLUTELY to make sure a British subject did not usurp the presidency...

Life is dawning on OJ. He begged the judge to go easy on him because he's a good father with no felony convictions. He was found guilty 13 years to the day after he was acquitted. 13 hours of deliberation to set him free and 13 hours to incarcerate him for the next 9 years. The Jesuits are right. There is a Divine Order to the universe.

Yesterday's birth certificate update. We The People Foundation's open letters in the Chicago Trib finally did the trick. Quick recap.

Dec 1st: open letter to barry in the Chicago Tribune

Dec 1st: Interview on WGN with John Williams - who said he'd buy Schultz a Lou Malnotti's pizza (wouldn't be my pick - Uno's or Gino's East) if barry handed over his documents at the WTP press conference on Monday.

Dec 2nd: Sun-Times Mary Mitchell ranted in her blog - if you don't know her - everything has to do with race. She still thinks somebody yelled "KILL HIM!"

MITCHELL: It has already been established that Obama was born in Honolulu on Aug. 4, 1961. During his campaign, Obama posted his birth certificate on the Internet. Contrary to the inflammatory ad, public officials in Hawaii verified that the birth certificate in its possession was indeed authentic.To insist that Obama is not a natural-born citizen in the face of evidence that proves otherwise feeds the paranoia of people who operate on the fringes.

She doesn't even bother to look into the facts or that it's authenticity has been questioned or even taken the intuitive leap as to why barry hasn't produced it - nor has the DNC (who was getting sued by Berg as well) to produce it. Yes, they looked at it and said it was a legitimate document. What they didn't say is what is on it. And out of barry's own mouth he admits to being a NATIVE born citizen not natural born.

These loonies -- like the skinheads from Tennessee who planned to dress up in coattails and top-hats and go on a racist killing spree before targeting Obama -- eat up conspiracy theories.

"Loonies" She gives these idiots credence when they got scared away by a dog on their first attempt at B & E all the while driving in a car with a huge swastika on it...their plan was to do a drive by on barry after they had gone on a mass murder spree.

When this kind of blatant lie is plastered in a paid ad in one of the president-elect's hometown newspapers, it shows how much influence the people have who are behind the lies. And that's scary.

Influence? That is plain ignorant. She has no idea how long this has been going on and how money had to be raised through donations. Then she goes on a personal attack at Schultz - she found the time to investigate him but not the allegations or the background of the case. Standard MO of the obamerized.

Instead, he's attempting to stir up any lingering anti-Obama sentiments.This is just the kind of blatant disrespect that the Obama camp has been good at ignoring.

Ignoring. She doesn't even wonder why he won't produce the document, which is the reason it is ongoing...not because of loonies. Had she taken a breath and really wanted it to go away - she'd would have used her blog to appeal to barry to just produce the documents. Then she continues in her tween mocking and how: "if there was some dirt to be dug up, it would have been in her [Sen Clinton] hands." She shows she has no idea how long this has been ongoing. And this:

I still believe his campaign had something to do with outing Obama's 56-year-old half-aunt during the last days of the general election. The woman was living in the country illegally, and the McCain camp tried every which way to whip the voters into an anti-immigrant frenzy.

Her opinion, nothing proven, wasn't covered except to demand an investigation and auntie to my knowledge is still in the country. She also neglects to mention that barry was the one who sponsored her initial visit 9 years ago and thus was responsible for her. Anybody heard anything lately? Anybody believe that barry wasn't able to talk to her? Her conclusion:

So there must be something else Schulz is looking for. Can someone say donations?

I did agree with her on one point.

Stop it. The election is over. Done. Finished. There's no hope of overturning the results. The people have spoken loud and clear.

And that's precisely why they fought it to the end. He will never be disqualified from being president. They wouldn't have allowed him to not get the nomination and that was only 18 million democrats voting for him. If it were Senator McCain or Senator Clinton this would have all been forced to be resolved before the general election. Say what you want - barry is a fraud - a fraud who will be inaugurated. Do not for one minute believe that race did not work in his favor. It is the only reason he has not been compelled to produce his documents. One step closer to a More Perfect Union?

Dec 3rd: open letter to barry in the Chicago Tribune

Dec 3rd: Schultz interviewed on NBC5 10 o'clock news.

Dec 4th: Another letter sent to barry confirming that he had not sent the necessary documents and to notify him of the upcoming press conference.

December 6th: Leo Donofrio's case (different from this) to be decided on by the SCOTUS.

Dec 8th: National Press Club 1:30 WTP press conference. Donofrio will not be there.

Dec 15th: Electoral College votes.

barry's going to Hawaii to hide out like last time and this time he's taking Valerie Jarrett with him. She is barry and Mrs barry's longtime friend from Chicago, who is now Co-Chair of his transition team. barry will be far far away and I'm sure unable to comment. This is starting to rot. Perhaps he will stop by and get a copy of his vault copy to submit for examination. Haha.

Willie comments on how much money barry raised: $104 MILLION for a total of $750 MILLION. Mika brings up Karl Rove's article in yesterday's WSJ about how barry basically bought the election. He did. It's just dawning on them? Think of how he outspent Sen Clinton and how close they were. He won 13/14 caucuses and she won the big states even though he was outspending her sometimes 5:1 like in PA and she still beat him by 10 pts. Now ask yourself how much of the financial advantage in the primaries was actually from foreign cash? That's another batch of lawsuit happening. Wonder how many lawsuits have been filed against barry and his campaign? I'll try to find that info in the drafts - I don't think I've posted that yet.

MIKA: You could argue he bought the election.
BARNICLE: He raised it. It's not cheating.
WILLIE shifts to Red Sox fans complain the Yankees buy the World Series.

And then barry's biggest lie (as concerns this topic) that has gotten very little press and as above wasn't mentioned is his fund raising was in fact against the rules...the rules of integrity and a signature. barry agreed to go with public financing and then reneged. Loud and clear unequivocal no doubt about it he admitted to it and it cannot be shoved under the rug or spun so it's not brought up. Just a general whoa each time more money pours in.

If there is anyone who does not believe that barry's race was an ADVANTAGE in this election then I hope you live another year because by then the books will have been written - especially by black folks like Shelby Steele - to prove it in black and white.
